Avatar f tn I'm not having a good last few days. I keep getting this weird sensation in my chest that feels likes cramp sort of? My doc has told me over and over it's not my heart (I've had a stress test, chest X-ray, ekgs) but I cant help but worry that it is... My arms been going numb the last few nights, last night it hurt when I bent my left arm (a weird pressure build up), horrible stomach churning and excess acidity and the chest cramps.

Avatar f tn I have had an endoscopy, that is how they picked up the coeliac disease, and this never showed any evidence of an ulcer although the report did say I had brunner gland hyperplasia, which I am assuming is nothing to worry about as nothing has been done for this. I was on nexium for a while as my GP thought some of the chest pain I was having could possibly be due to my stomach. I will go and see her again next week if I am still in pain.
Avatar n tn 2 months ago I started coughing dry for a month, now I have chest wall pain, shoulder blade pain, mild to moderate, especially when moving, I sweat easily and get dizzy easily, this is very recent. I dont cough much anymore. I also have occational diarrhea and stomach cramps. Breathing appears normal. I have had pollen allergies in my teenage years, but hardly ever have problems with it these days, and only in springtime.
Avatar n tn My doctor prescribed Belladonna Alkaloids tablets, which seemed to relieve the lower abdominal cramps, however the pain migrated to the stomach area. This pain was coming and going and was more of a burning type. When the pain peaked, I felt somewhat nauseous. This pain originated in the center of the upper abdomen (which was tender). Somestimes, it migrated up to where the esophagus ends. I did not have diarrhea, or a fever. I ate normally!

Avatar f tn EKG, etc (although I have low blood pressure, which does not have any effect on my lifestyle). results are OK. The pain is like a sharp stabbing sensation in the left middle area of my chest (heart). The pains or cramps lasts for a few minutes.
Avatar m tn Went for an ultrasound today and noticed strange chest pain when they had me hold my breath. It only happens when I hold my breath and I am laying on my right side, and the chest pain is about an inch to the right of my left nipple. Like a stab that intensifies the longer I hold my breath. Any thoughts?

Avatar n tn Hi Ladies, Thanks for all your posts regarding my stomach cramps yesterday but I didn't wait around to read them! They were really severe and I got myself down to A&E as I was in agony - they gave me some morphine (a bit strong!) when the normal pain meds did not work, they did x-ray of abdo and chest and took bloods and could not see anything amiss, so they let me go at about 11:30 last night.
Avatar n tn My question is, do you think that chest pain alone(and the right arm/shoulderblade intermittent pain) without stomach cramps/pain or vomiting, could possibly be gastro issues? Any input you have would be very appreciated. Thanks.
Avatar m tn The best way to describe it would be that there is a dull pain in the center of my chest, and in my throat it is cold and feels like something small is in my throat, a lump in my throat. I can breathe normally, there is no loss of air or lung capacity, just a lump in the throat. The pain in the chest is dull, and it is noticable that my heart is beating. All of this lasts only about 10 or 15 seconds, and then the pain and discomfort goes away completely.
Avatar f tn I am a 19 year old female, i weigh about 120lbs. i have been experiencing stomach pain and nausea for as long as i can remember. i think it might be something genetic. my mother passed away 2 years ago, she was only 47 years old. She had been sick for about 7 years before she passed away. at first they told her it was an ulcer..
Avatar f tn Your stomach is trying to tell you something, if the pain persists you should go along to a doctor and just get checked over. They will feel your stomach and maybe run a few tests so that you can be sure what is wrong. While i personally wouldnt think it is anything to worry about dieting is a big factor in alot of stomach problems. If you need someone to talk to feel free to drop me a note. Hope you feel better soon!!
Avatar n tn My husband has been suffering for 9 years (off and on) with these same rotten egg burps, stomach pain, diarrhea, then vomitting and no one has really been able to help him. The interesting thing is that about a year ago, my son (ten yrs old) and I joined him and are having the same symptoms except that I don't vomit. Our other younger children often have diarrhea but no other symptoms, so I don't know if it is related or something completely different.
Avatar f tn I've been taking hip hop for 7 years and I recently stoped this year... Now I'm getting these heart cramps.. And chest pain.. Tbh they don't hurt at all they just feel like someone's poking my heart.. It usually stays up for 10 mins and it goes away. It all started before Christmas. (December 23,2013) and I'm really scared it might be a heart problem.. I told my friends what I was feeling and they said they have experienced the same doesn't run in my family what so ever.
Avatar m tn So - when I was in my early forties, I began to have constant stomach pain as soon as I ate, with no diarrhea. Just stomach pain constantly. Since my pattern was colon cramps, and after severe cramping for an hour or two I would have diarrhea and the pain would subside. So my internist put me on IBS meds, didn't help, and he sent me to G.I. doctor. He put me on more meds. didn't help.
Avatar n tn Hello, last November, i started getting this slight pain in my chest, it was a slight discomfort (pinching- pulsating pain like) every now and then, i went to the (school infirmary) and i was told that it was most likely muscular or something like that, the pain persisted (i'm not sure if it became stronger, or was it just me paying more attention) so i went back in January this year for further testing, the doctor asked me about family history, ran blood and an ekg tests and he said that he do
Avatar n tn I have had chest pain now for over 6 years. The pain feels like what can only be described as a heart attack pain. I have had every kind of test available done. ECG,stress tests, X-rays, endoscopes, scans,24 hour page monitoring, MRI of my back and blood tests to numerous to mention. The pain is a constant ache under my left breast bone.It varies in severity and in location.Sometimes I think its my back others my heart and sometimes my stomach.
Avatar f tn After the blockage was discovered thanks to a persistent PCP, and the stent inserted, I had chest pain afterwards. Was re-catheterized, all the major arteries were given a clean bill of health, but was placed on a beta blocker. Terrible reaction to the first one, put on a second one, and finally my cardiologist took me off that one as well. Although I see some improvement, I still have chest "aches" on exertion.
Avatar n tn The other sharp stabbing pain that worsens when taking a breath occurs in the direct center of my chest - right where the rib cages end. Oddly enough I realized that this type pain occurred both times I had a colonoscopy performed. I'm wondering whether these are part of the same syndrome, whether the colonoscopy irritated something internally...b ut mostly I'm wondering if anyone found a cure other than sucking it up and taking that deep breath.
Avatar n tn The cramps start in my stomach and move to my chest. They seems to be triggered by deep breathing, physical exertion, light and sound. The respiratory specialist I saw today had sent me for a sleep study and had many of the cramps recorded. Because they do not happen in my sleep he decided they are psychological. Unfortunately the referral he had said I had a somatiform disorder, and asked did he disagree. Anything else was too hard. I have recently found I have fluid in the right mastoid.

Avatar n tn I was diagnosed with acid reflux and prescribed Nexium for 8 weeks. The Nexium helped the chest pains but I then noticed pain in right upper portion of my abdomen. Ultrasound came back negative for gallstones but showed fat in liver. I was prescribed a low fat diet. After 2 weeks of being on Nexium I had lost 10 lbs. But I had terrible stomach cramps, bloating and flatulence.
