Avatar f tn Yogurt, fresh fruit, or something with salt that will settle her like crackers and drink water to already have something on your stomach. How many weeks we're you when you went to find out the gender?

Avatar f tn Wake up hungry at almost 2 am & don't know what to eat but I just want to eat something really bad lol any suggestions ?
Avatar f tn You can have ham and stuff like that you just have to heat it up. You can eat hot dogs too , you just have to make sure it's cooked as well. Stay away from stuff that's high in Mercury and unpasteurized stuff. You can eat most foods .
Avatar f tn Stomach diseses, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, stomach cancer all can lead to nausea and loss of appetite. Do you also have yellowish discoloration of your skin, eyes and urine? That could be due to gall bladder disease or hepatitis. Eat small healthy meals. You need to consult a primary care physician. He will further refer you to a gastroenterologist. A clinical examination and tests like esophagogastroduodenoscopy may be needed. Ultrasound abdomen may provide some clue.
Avatar f tn I haven't been real consistent with my meds. It seems like every time I try, my reflux seems worse. I don't know if it is really the meds or if I try it when I'm desperate and the reflux is bad anyway. I didn't know that I might have too little acid and that could be my problem. Doc didn't check for that. He based his diagnosis on how my throat looked.
Avatar m tn Right now she is quite weak and seems to be some what confused, I am assuming this is because she had nothing to eat or drink for the 4 days they had the tube in her stomach. Also what should I watch out for as I assume it can happen again now that she had it once. She was in great pain and vomiting before. Right now because she is only using liquids she has diarrhea and is going quite often. Any advice will be greatly appreciated as I know nothing about this.
Avatar n tn But what he really needs to do is eat a bit. He has learned to force himself and he feels better relatively quickly after. I do the same. Could it be something like this? I do have acid reflux as well but it flares more in the evening. Both of these things could be going on at the same time.
Avatar m tn He actually seems to want to eat food - but when it is offered to him, and he sniffs it, he immediately turns away - recoils from it. He is down at least 10 pounds (8 the last time we weighed him several days ago). On x-ray, the wall of his stomach appears thickened. We suspect stomach cancer. He is a chow - and I'm told they top the list for stomach cancer - especially the males. We also suspect ulcers in his throat from regurgitation - due to acid reflux?
Avatar f tn Thanks to all of you for your suggestions > This is a very helpful sigh since we are all out to get the same results. It helps to know what has helped some of you.
Avatar f tn I highly doubt this is cancer given your age. Most of the patients I have taken care of were in their 40's to 50's and had a heavy history of drinking and/or smoking that had stomach cancer. What is your diet like? Smoker or alcohol drinker? I would recommend returning to the specialist and request an Upper Endoscopy. This is a scope that allows the physician to view the esophagus, stomach and small intestine.
Avatar f tn If you can keep any food down then eat it. Try to keep yourself hydrated too. You might talk to your doctor about medicine (such as Zofran) if the severe nausea continues.
Avatar f tn Have you tried ginger? I used the candied ginger and just keep it in my mouth for a very long time. It helped for about an hour or so. I couldn't keep anything down the first 5 months. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water!! The baby will get what he or she needs from you during this time. Just stay hydrated. Try maybe crackers and ginger ale...that could help. I also noticed when I let myself get too hungry or my stomach was empty it would make me really sick.
Avatar n tn thought hernia meant a pain which demobilised you? What are the symptoms of cancer??? I do worry, used to smoke cigars once. I am 29. I am 230lbs and gaining weight, not fat but muscular. I have no pale complexion or other signs of cancer except one thing.......yellow/white colouring to the tongue is frequent for me, though I also suffer from cattargh. Many thanks again.
622595 tn?1221627691 However, there are many other complaints which can cause your symptoms apart from colon cancer and your husband is right to try and persuade you to seek medical help. In other words there are medical conditions which justify you going to a doctor and asking for a diagnosis and treatment. Try not to become dependent on laxatives but eat a high fibre diet including fresh fruit and vegetables.
Avatar f tn I am 19 years old, since I was really young I've always had problems with my digestive system. There are times that I go 4-5 days without going to the bathroom. I am always constipated, and when I eat my stomach becomes really bloated to the point that I look pregnant. I've always had this problem, sometimes when I do go to the bathroom I bleed a lot, and sometimes very little. Also when I eat the upper part of my stomach begins to hurt.
Avatar f tn There is a strong and definite link between H. pylori infection and the development of stomach cancer. What should be clarified is that having H.pylori infection does not automatically increase your risk for stomach cancer. If the infection is promptly treated and eradicated, your risk will not be increased. Only when the infection becomes persistent is the risk for subsequent cancer increased. Having lingering symptoms of heart burn/ reflux do not necessarily indicate that the H.
Avatar n tn That's hard to answer. At your age stomach cancer is INCREDIBLY rare. Just try to get it out of your mind.
577132 tn?1314266526 Higher fat content is better for absorption, but something has to be in your stomach for the riba to work at maximum capacity. I have to be careful with things like peanut butter because it hurts my stomach but that is a healthy high fat food. As tx progresses, food has less and less appeal. Half the battle is just making sure you put something in your stomach even when it makes you gag. I haven't gone anemic yet and I'm thinking it's because I have forced myself to eat.
