the last time i was in the ER, however, they did a CT scan and found that i have swollen lymph nodes in my stomach. i was merely sent home after given some morphine. my family doctor called me a few days later to ask how my pain was in my stomach, but it is still severe. she said that she was concerned about the swollen lymph nodes that the CT scan found but she did not tell me why she was concerned or what it could mean.

suddnly they found cancer in his lymh nodes and ssaid that it had to have been somewhere else first i honestly believe that it was stomach cancer or throat cancer from the h-pyloi this scares me as i still have no ins.

It seems that my lump near my throat is not a lymph node. And that the other lymph nodes in my neck are not swollen (at least the one that can be felt by hand), Also that my fever is on the normal range and that the pain in the abdonimal is weird and maybe asymptomatic as it is moving and is not constant. So hopefully everything will be ok. Ofcourse I will go to a doctor when I go back home for a better opinion.

Sounds like lymph nodes. You may want to check the back of her legs. Not meaning to raise any alarms, could be some infection or possibly Lymphoma. I would get her checked ASAP.

If this is hurthle cell cancer, it is usually more aggressive than papillary, but the staging system is the same. It depends on age, cancer size, which lymph nodes were involved and spread outside the neck. Would discuss this with your endocrinologist to learn the details/staging and treatment plan for your case. Usually I-131 (radioactive iodine) is used.
