No the only thing that can happen is u can have diarrhea thats why ur only taking 2 tablespoons and drink alot of water, don't eat 2 hrs bf u take it ,i took it like an hr ago and I'm starting to feel contractions I'm 39 weeks today and i was getting induce on Thursday

walking alot, i ran as fast as i really cold hehe just to try for jump starting my labor and i felt contractions but it was not that hard to do anything but i did have them. was having contractions at 37 weeks and that was because i got into a hot tub and i stayed in there for like 10-15 minutes because my mom said it was okay for me to be in there but im not sure if it was okay. so 1 day later i went into active labor after doing all that and being on my birthing ball.

Does anyone know of any ways that work of naturally inducing labour? Experiences? I'm due any day now..

So, I'm 38 weeks along. I am SO ready to meet this boy. I'm having contractions so frequently, but they're so irregular I know they're not "real" labor contractions yet. Anyone have any tips to induce the real thing instead of these frequent, painful, but irregular contractions?! Haha I know they say sex, but seriously- that's the last resort I'm hoping for this far along :) ha! Any recommendations would be appreciated!

sex...the sperm helps to soften cervix and the "activity" also kicks up contractions, and walking is great as well. you don't want to do things like castor oil unless overdue and making sure you've talked with your doctor.

ve been in constant pain and have been doing everything to induce the labor naturally! My daughter has been super active and I can feel her head down in my uterus. I've also been having strong back contractions. Maybe my doctor will put me in labor when I get checked today! Anyone else almost there?

Besides walking and sex what can I do to induce labor? My due date is tomorrow and I been n pre labor since last Friday. I haven't had any real contractions in my vagina yet which is confusing and I'm 3 centimeters dilated and my doctor felt my babies head yesterday. So what can I do?

Castor oil sent me into labor

Am at 40wks+3days my water broke early sunday morning at 3am came to the hospital right away and been here all day Dr wanted contractions to start naturally but no luck,at 6pm I was give some kinda med, she inserted in me to help provoke contraction, and after 5hrs its now 11:35pm I am starting to feel light contraction I hope it works. No sleep and feel really exhausted I don't know how I will be able to push if I haven't go any sleep.

I am finally starting to loose my mucus plug.. im only 11 days past my due date and still havent had any contractions but i guess loosing my mucus plug is a step in the right direction.

Some items to try: Walking, nipple stimulation (especially with a breast pump), sex, orgasm.

Nothing, is wrong with the baby. I'm just at the point we're I can't walk because my sciatic nerve & hip problems. He wants to induce because it will be after my due date. I'm terrified of getting induce, just because of the horror stories I heard. I'm going to walk tomorrow, that seems to bring on contractions.

I barely walked around outside today and I had bad period cramps. I'm 39 wks 2 days.i didn't go I to labor naturally with my 1st born. Is this a sign? The cramps hurt pretty bad when I barely walk :( has this happened to any of u?

Does anyone have success stories in naturally inducing labor? I will be 39 weeks Thursday and I'm so over being pregnant. I've tried pinneapple, primrose oil, bouncing on a birth ball, and sex.... still nothing.

I never had any signs of labor until the day before and i started getting contractions in my back. I never tried to naturally induce myself though. I have literally tried everything to naturally induce myself. I've tried caster oil, walking, having sex, apple juice, pineapples, and nothing happen. I am already 3 cm dilated. I have lost my mucus plug already and I'm having contractions that are not consistent. Can anyone give me any other ideas?

I'm in the same boat I'm 38 weeks and only dialated to 1. I do lots of walking and it's not working. I have no sign of baby at all.

I chose not to be medically induced any of you moms tried naturally inducing or have any advice on naturally inducing besides walking because I have done that since the beginning of my pregnancy ??????

ve been having pretty strong but inconsistent contractions and cramping in my pelvic region and back. I was in the hospital at 31w contracting and I went from not dilated to almost a 2 in the 4 days I was there. They also gave me pills to stop the contractions shots for the baby's lungs and magnesium for his brain. My doctors doesn't really like you to call unless it's like an emergency so I'm not sure if I should. Anyone deal with anything similar? I don't know what to do.

I'm 22 weeks and was told that epidural can cause back problems in the long run but naturally sounds painful Cuz it's a child coming out of you . Lol . My husband wants me to go naturally but I'm like why won't you have a baby and see which one you would do . But what would you suggest , all opinions are welcomed . I'm very open minded.
