I have known of so many people that have taken flu shots over the years and end up getting flu like symptoms from the shot. Plus, I have yet to ever take the pneumonia shot. so on Shepherd Smith they just had a teen on that was quarintined at home that has the swine flu and spoke to him via phone. The teen said that he had a fever of 102 for 1 day and mild symptoms and that thay are totally making this more severe than what it really is. He is taking tamiflu and is not allowed by the CDC that he is not allowed to leave his home until Monday. So, finally we heard from someone with this.

My daughter had swine flu September 2009 at the age of 20. Since then, she has had whooping cough in April 2010 and has just been told she has the croup (she is now 21 years old). There have been numerous ear infections and upper respiratory things since last fall along with her, as she puts it, childhood diseases of croup and whooping cough.

Besides I personally think they made more out of the swine flu than necessary. More people die of regular flu strands and pneumonia than the swine flu. Now... being a thyroid patient means you need to supplement well and build your body up. Our bodies don't always absorb nutrients as it should so it is important to supplement.

Hi all, Haven't been here in a bit. Life is full. I am having lots of issues with Copaxone, with even my eye getting lots of inflammation from the reaction I have been having. I am using steroid eye drops which is helping. Not sure what my next step is with the Copaxone will be, but I am still doing it every day. Today is the 6 month anniversary of my moms death, and I have been having a bit of a tough time mentally still with my loss of her and my MS. I am sure sadness is normal.

I already got the Swine Flu Vaccine. My doctor told me that i needed to get it because the risk of getting Swine Flu was higher than the risk of the shot. So many pregnant women have died from the Swine FLu so i got scared and preferred being protected. Hope this helps you make your decision!
