Its nothing to worry about unless you start bleeding, severally cramping, cramping with back pain, pain on one side only more than stabbing pain.. i would definitely recommend you go to ER straight away... You can discuss this with your Doctor at your next visit just to be on safe side... it should ease up a little ... but unfortunately its something every women gets when they are pregnant as your uterus stretches to make space for baby..

s way into my sleep and almost every night I have dreams about his friend stabbing me in the stomach and I wake up in pain. I worry that the situation is stressing me out so much and it's effecting my baby... Any thoughts?

Twice now I have had a stabbing pain in my stomach, it feels like someone plunged a knife through my stomach but from the inside out. It only lasts a few seconds but it takes my breath away and hurts like hell. With my son I had pain from him playing with my nerves and this baby has played with my nerves but its not in the same spot and doesn't feel the same. I have a normal appt with my doc tomorrow so I'll talk to her then I was just wondering if anyone has had someting like this.

I'm 31w2d (first baby) and my baby girl is sitting low. My lower stomach hurts when I walk. Also my girly parts get a sharp stabbing pain but only when I prop my feet up. I'm not into taking meds while prego. Anyone else experience this? How did you relieve the pain?

Hi, I'm 13 weeks pregnant and for the past few days my stomach has hurt really bad. It's hard to explain the pain, but I wouldn't consider it to just be cramping. Side note... I have not experienced any back pain or spotting. My stomach stopped hurting as consistently but now every once and a while a get a shooting pain in my stomach. The location of the pain is inconsistent. Sometimes it's higher in my stomach, other times it is lower.

But last night, I had one dream, completely out of my element (I will not go into details) and in my dream I climaxed and it felt good (in my dreams), but after climax I instantly awoke and my private area was hurting so bad like someone was stabbing me. It was an aching pain I never felt before. Luckily the pain lasted about 2 at most 3 minutes. I felt better (didn't have the need to pee or anything) so I fell back asleep.

I got them while I was pregnant later on in my pregnancy and also while I breastfed in the first few months, but after that it went away. If you are just having it and you aren't pregnant or just have the baby you might want to just check in with your doctor. Just to make sure everything is ok.

So i have been having weird stomach pain, its like a stabbing pain. Its not horrible, but it's there and its a little annoying. Does anyone have the same issue? Should i be worried?

I had sex on jan 17 had my period 3 weeks later but it was a couple days later than normally. then the next month i didnt get a period at all. now its march and i had my period the first week of this month. My waist has gotten alittle bigger and so has my stomach but i dont look pregannt. the only sympton i have is eating alittle bit more and urinating more than usual.

In this pregnancy & past ones I get severe round ligament pain. It feels like some1 is stabbing my stomach it's so painful. What helped me was if I was going to cough/sneeze/laugh I have to lean forward and brace my stomach, almost try to suck it in like Ur belly is hugging around the baby. I have to roll completely to my side then back out of my bed feet 1st (it looks pretty silly) or it pulls & it's painful. Also try a maternity belt.

I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow. Today I went on a walk and had pain in that area. It even went down to my vagina. It eventually went way and I had no bleeding. The pain is more of a burning and stabbing than a cramp. I've described the pain to my ob, midwife and my maternal fetal doctor. They all said it was round ligament pain.

Sounds like gas pain to me. Whenever I get gas pains while pregnant it's up higher (near my belly button) and feels like a sharp stabbing pain. Warm baths and kneeling on all fours can help alleviate some of the pain. Contractions don't come on so suddenly or painfully. They're more of a dull ache like period cramps.

No its not a stabbing pain. These last few days it's been hard for me to sleep too. And also when I'm walking I get a strong pain on the left side of my stomach about half way and I have to be with my hand on my stomach because the pain gets strong but it doesn't last long.
