Yesterday my dermatologist prescribed me 25mg Spironolactone 2xD and Tri-Sprintec BCP to help clear my skin up. I trust her judgement with placing me on both of those medications, but what worries me is that it may be too much of a hormone change for my body. I know that birth control pills increase estrogen levels in the body and that spironolactone is an antiandrogen drug, and naturally the body will replace androgens with estrogen.

Its called Lutera, its generic for Aviane Tab. Its a low dose. She said my first pavk would give me a period but didnt say when & everyone I know has said that im not suppose to have one until the last week of the pack. At first I was spotting red blood but then I was bleeding brownish, like old blood. Online says spotting is normal but now its like a period type. Should I call my doctor monday or is this normal?
