In April I took the morning after pill and my period came about 4 days early. My next cycle was regular 28days. One day 1 of my period I started tri-sprintec, but discontinued it after 3 pills. This month my period is now going on 5 days late and 2 pregnancy tests have been negative. Is this normal? I did have unprotected sex during this month, but my husband did not ejaculate inside of me. t keep my skin under control without being on the pill, so I saw my gyn and she suggested I might feel better if I have a steady dose of hormones instead of the varying levels Tri Sprintec provided. She prescribed Sprintec, which I will be starting next week.
Could you help me understand the difference of how these two similar pills work? I know they are the same hormones, but how much do the levels differ?

I have been on birth control for 6 months. I was taking Gildess up until 3 weeks ago, where i started on Sprintec (Gildess was making me bleed very irregularly). I've been taking it very regularly, at the same time every day. Last saturday, I took my pill as normal. Saturday night, I had sex without a condom. Sunday, I took my pill as normal, but threw up about half an hour later, and am pretty convinced I threw up the pill. Am I still protected? Or should I be very concerned?
First time user bc. In may I started bc (sprintec) always on time. Had intercourse 2 and half weeks later. He didnt ejaculate inside me at all. It only lasted a minute. I stopped taking Sprintec 28 at the starting of the 3rd weeks blue pills. The day after i stopped the pill i started seeing a brownish/redish discharge. I decided to stop taking BC about a month ago. I also decided to stop having sex. My period was due last week but on from the 20th to the 25th my body was a mess. Exhausted, nauseous, cramping and weak some days. My period didn't really come on. There was some brown discharge and some blood when I urinated on the 25 th. So I wore a pad to sleep nothing and a tampon when I got up. Waited 3 hrs and nothing except a little brown residue on the tip.
I got my blood test done and pregnancy test done and everything came out good but got prescribed metformin, progesterone, and 3 month supply of Tri-Sprintec for a regulation of my period. I am on week 3 on my first pack of birth control as i already finished the 12 prescribed progesterone pills that i had to take and still on my supply on metformin. It is most likely from the birth control and your body getting used to it but you can get pregnant with him ejaculating by precum.

I've been on tri sprintec (combination pill) for about 4 years now. My period ended this past Sunday and on the same day I was supposed to pick up my new pack and start it that Sunday. I forgot and didn't end up getting it until Tuesday. so Tuesday I took two pills (for Sunday and Monday) and Wednesday I took two pills ( for Tuesday and Wednesday). By Thursday I was back on track and Took one pill. Friday I took one pill and Saturday I took one pill. Saturday night I had unprotected sex.
