I was on a triphasic pill for years (Tri Sprintec). It was good for keeping acne under control (which is why I originally went on it at age 20). But in the last few years I began suffering from extreme fatigue, lots of water retention, vaginal dryness, etc, and as all my tests were normal my PCP suggested the pill was causing it.
I went off the pill completely 4 months ago and about 2 months after started experiencing extremely oily skin and massive hair shedding, among other things.
I am going to be going on vacation in October and of course my period is expected to start right in the middle of the trip. I am on tri sprintec, which I realize is a triphasic pill so there are different hormones every week. I know if I skip the sugar pills then start a new pack that I will most likely have break through bleeding.
Is tri-sprintec a bc pill? If so, you likely confused your body by going on and then off, I wouldn't worry too much. If you still dont get your period in a week test again.
BTW- just because he didn't come in you doesn't mean you cant be pregnant, there is pre-*** and it can get you pregnant. If you dont want to be pregnant get on some bc and stay on it.
s days pill I took at night to get me back on schedule) a 8 days later of taking the pill consistently my bf and I had unprotected sex. 5 days later I had forgotten to take my pill. Good evening! I have been taking Sprintec for the past two months but I'm concern cause in those last two month's I haven't had a period. I have been taking it everyday and and I can say I at least !missed one day each month but other than that I been doing fine.
You'll have to go back to him and tell him the side effects are too much. There are a lot of other options out there if you want to do the every 3 months thing. He needs to be willing to work with you to find a pill that won't cause these type of side effects.
I'm taking Sprintec birth control. Ive been on it for about 7 months now. On this pill pack, I missed the very first active pill on week 1, and took it the next morning. ok i have a question. I take sprintec birth control.On saturday, I had a doctors appt and somehow forgot to take my birth control pill... and had sex that night.. but we used a condom. The next day when I took my birth control pill, I didn't realize that I was taking a white pill(instead of the blue pill which corresponded with Sunday). I didn't realize this until Monday at work, when I was going to take my pill for Monday and realized that Sunday's pill was there as well.
I've been on Sprintec birth control for 6 months and never had this problem till now.
I have always started my period 3 days after I started taking the white pill. Right now I'm on the last week of my blue pills and I've started cramping and spotting a little. I'm not sure if it's normal or not to start your period a week early while on birth control or not because it's never happened to me until now.
Anyways, i started tuesday, i made up the sunday pill on tuesday and took another pill later that night, then a make up pill for monday, and another later on wednesday that night. Then on thursday i just took the pill once a day, on the same time everyday. I never missed the pill at all, nor was i late for the pill at all. I am very strict with timing. Anyways, i had partial intercourse on may 26. He didnt ejaculate inside me at all. I continued taking the pills regularly Ok.
Sprintec? If you're on a birth control pill, you shouldn't be ovulating.
By Thursday I was back on track and Took one pill. Friday I took one pill and Saturday I took one pill. Saturday night I had unprotected sex. Sunday which is today, I took one pill. Would I have been back on track before having sex on that Saturday and could i have had an increased chance of getting pregnant?
Saturday night, I had sex without a condom. Sunday, I took my pill as normal, but threw up about half an hour later, and am pretty convinced I threw up the pill. Am I still protected? So in February I was bleeding for 2-3 weeks, went to my doctor had an ultrasound and she told me that my lining was thin and that was the cause. The day after i stopped the pill i started seeing a brownish/redish discharge. The next day i started bleeding like my period had started. This lasted for 5-6 days. Was this my normal period or withdrawl bleeding? I mainly stopped taking the pill because my husband and i noticed signs of possibly being pregnant an also we want to have another child.....help.
re pregnant, your body could very well start showing symptoms even though its a false pregnancy....just a psychological standpoint. You can take a home test, but ultimately you should contact your gyno, or if you're embarresed or in a bind, go to Planned parenthood for a test, but there are lots of factors that can sway your period.
