Little semen dropped on the outside of my vagina on april31 and i wiped it off as much as i could and washed too but im not sure how effective that was or if i got it all off. took ellaone 3h later because i was so afraid. period was/is expected between yesterday and today. last period was april 10. i had light pinkish discharge yesterday and so i took a pregnancy test last night which came out negative. i have bright reddish brownish discharge with some clot like black coming out today.

Emergency contraceptive pills are very effective in preventing pregnancy if taken in correct dosage and taken as early as possible after sex. Emergency contraceptive pills can cause temporary disruption of the menstrual cycle. If they are taken before ovulation there can be progesterone withdrawal bleeding a few days after the pills are taken. If taken after ovulation, it may increase the length of the luteal phase and may delay menstruation by a few days.
We used no protection and we were both under the influenece. I took birth control pills as the replacement for emergency contraceptive. This is my second time using BCP since July of last year. I woke up with a sore throat yesterday and have gotten severe flu symptoms. I also wet my bed which is something very unusual. I read on another website that taking an increased dose (4 now and 4 in 12hrs) of certain contraceptive pills has the same effect. The problem is i cant even get the contraceptive pill without a prescription and i cant get a prescription if I'm not married! I am stressed out of my brain! I do have some yasmin tablets in my bathroom drawer. Please tell me if these are suitable to use for this method.

I'm don't know about that, but I think trying that may run you at risk of not aborting the pregnancy but causing birth defects. You may want to see a physician.

He is pretty sure that he did not ejaculate, but i want to take an emergency contraceptive pill( such as i-pill) just as a precaution. What i really need to know is whether it can cause any problems with my periods later on. i had my last period from january 22,2009. also, does it have too much of side-effects? i have a family history of PCOS, though i haven't been diagnosed with it.
Plan B can cause alot of issues and is only recommended on an emergency basis only and not as a routine contraceptive. For her health she really needs to follow the doctors orders and you as her bf should encourage her to follow them as well and not encourage her to do otherwise. You need to be supportive for her well being right now.

Had an emergency contraceptive pill 5 days ago. Had an unusual bleeding today. Is this normal ? It is very little and brownish red in color. Also I am having abdominal cramps.

Last month I finished my blood thinners and I had also taken an emergency contraceptive (only to have my period show up a few days later).
I don’t think I’m pregnant but there was one time my partner and I were going to have sex and before using the condom, the head of his penis touched the entrance to my vagina. Didn’t enter but definitely touched.
What are the chances I’m pregnant? Last week and a half ago I did have the flu as well, so I’m wondering if that may be affecting it as well.
It seems as though the Sprintec contains the same level of hormones as are in the third week the Tri Sprintec - is this correct?
Also, I keep reading that it's the norgestimate that helps with acne due to it's low androgenic activity. Do the hormones in the pill "replace" my body's natural hormones, or how do they affect me?
