I was a very healthy 41-year-old woman who took Sprintec and had two strokes within 5 minutes and spent two days being a human pin cushion in the hospital. It was determined that there was no other reason to have a stroke besides my birth control pills.

Ive be taking sprintec for 3months forgot to refill my prescription so I have missed 4 pills in a row sunday-wednesday they would all be blue pills. I have had intercourse with in theses days. Should I take a pregnancy test before I start back on the pill? If so when should I take the pregnancy test?

One day 1 of my period I started tri-sprintec, but discontinued it after 3 pills. This month my period is now going on 5 days late and 2 pregnancy tests have been negative. Is this normal? I did have unprotected sex during this month, but my husband did not ejaculate inside of me. Please help...

So I have a question. I have Just started Sprintec on February 2 Tuesday and I finished my week. It was my first wee. I took my pill everyday at 8:15pm but on the second week that tuesday today I forgot to take it and took it at 12:45am 41/2 hours later. If I keep taking them at 8.15 on the dot this week will that affect me this weekened if I have sex this weekened? Is there a high chance I can get pregnant?

Hello. Im on sprinted birth control and I was supposed to ovulate on the 11th. I forgot to take my pill the 12th and 13th. I had unprotected sex on the 13th. On the 14th I doubled up on the pills. I didnt use s back up method for 7days and had intercourse again 5 days later which was the 18th. Could I be pregnant?

Now my vaginal area is itchy and uncomfortable and I think it might be the pills. Should I call my doctor and set up an appointment to check and make sure its the pills and nothing serious?

i finished my sprintec 7 day placebo pills on sat 18th May and due to refill issues was not able to start my new pack with active pills until 29th May. I started the pack like normal and have continued to take so. However between the 19th until now (June 10th) I have had unprotected sex. I have been on birth control for 6 months. I was taking Gildess up until 3 weeks ago, where i started on Sprintec (Gildess was making me bleed very irregularly). I've been taking it very regularly, at the same time every day. Last saturday, I took my pill as normal. Saturday night, I had sex without a condom. Good evening! I have been taking Sprintec for the past two months but I'm concern cause in those last two month's I haven't had a period. I have been taking it everyday and and I can say I at least !missed one day each month but other than that I been doing fine.

So last month I was on my 3rd week of birth control (I've been taking it for over a year now) and I missed a day. I didn't take the 2 pills the next day (sadly), but instead started a new pack immediately. So I'm on my new pack now around week 3 again and during sex the condom came off. Should I take Plan B as a back up? Or should my Sprintec cover the miss-hap even though I missed that day? Thanks!

Ok so i was supposed to start birth control on sunday may 11, after my period finished. But i forgot to take it on sunday and monday because im new on this. Anyways, i started tuesday, i made up the sunday pill on tuesday and took another pill later that night, then a make up pill for monday, and another later on wednesday that night. Then on thursday i just took the pill once a day, on the same time everyday. I never missed the pill at all, nor was i late for the pill at all.

I don't think it is implantation bleeding but probably hormonal bleeding. I'd suspect you did risk pregnancy by not taking your pills correctly I'd wait 2.5 weeks until the last unprotected sex and go ahead and take a test. You have to take your pills as instructed or it kind of defeats the purpose. :>) We do spot when our hormones are shifting around. Implantation bleeding is more something you read about on the internet than what really happens. Spotting makes more sense.

I got my blood test done and pregnancy test done and everything came out good but got prescribed metformin, progesterone, and 3 month supply of Tri-Sprintec for a regulation of my period. I am on week 3 on my first pack of birth control as i already finished the 12 prescribed progesterone pills that i had to take and still on my supply on metformin. Hi, Yesterday I started having some very light pinkish spotting only noticeable when I wipe. It was accompanied by very light cramping, headache, and fatigue. Also I have been more moody than normal. It is a week before the start of my period. I had sex several times in the last two weeks. I am on the pill Tri-sprintec, but I did miss a few pills at the beginning of this month.
