Avatar n tn Pain during bowel movements. Infertility, which may be the only sign that you have endometriosis. Between 20% and 40% of women who are infertile have endometriosis. 1 Abnormal bleeding. This can include: Blood in the urine or stool. Some vaginal bleeding before the start of the menstrual period (premenstrual spotting). Vaginal bleeding after intercourse. Endometrial growths (implants) that are large are not necessarily more painful.
8139104 tn?1419979995 I have spotting in between periods, and slightly painful cramps between periods (feels like my period is about to start constantly). My periods are always very heavy but only last 4 days. At 16 I had an abdominal scan which didn't spot anything and my doc told me when I turned 21 she would arrange another scan. I'm now 19 and not sure I can wait that long, she also told me since my mam also has endo, to aim to complete my family by 25.
Avatar n tn I sometimes get dark blood discharge in between periods it last a few days to a week and ranges from a little smear to sometimes a clump. It does not hurt and does not flow like my period. It's more like dark (almost black)discharge. I notice I get it a day or two after exercising and thought I might be aggravating something. This has been happening sporadically over 5 years.. I am 31 years old.
Avatar n tn I had been hopeful I was pregnant but instead I am having a very heavy period. My periods are usually 24-25 days in between but this time it was 27. We have been trying to get pregnant for over a year now. I am also in my early 40s.
Avatar f tn I have vaginal bleeding and spotting in between periods. Its been going on for over 3 years. My gyno doctor just keeps changing my birth control pills. I'm very frustrated at this point. Is this something that you experienced?
Avatar f tn I had a normal period afterward sometime in April, then a weird spotting ish one at the end of may. Is it spotting? It lasted 5 days and I cramped a little like usual periods... Any help with what's going on would be appretiated.
Avatar f tn my periods are all wacky as well. I started out spotting using lasts about a week, then i will bleed as in having my period which lasts about a week, then tapers off. And it is not every 28 days, never really know when it is going to happen, mainly because they last so long, I am never sure at what point to count from.
Avatar f tn Just two days ago, I started getting a normal period (finally) - red, some clots and tissue, and finally enough to use 2 tampons over the course of that day and for the past two days I'm somewhere in between - its not heavy, its not spotting, its just light and consistent. But the entire time, whether it was spotting, heavy, or this in between, I've have incredibly uncomfortable and painful cramps radiating around my lower back, down through my thighs, and up into my abdomen.
Avatar n tn I have been experiencing unusual periods and spotting in between periods for the last year and a half. I am currently bleeding and have been doing so for over a month now from very heavy to just a little. I've seen my doc about this many times and he recently put my on birth control. (3 weeks ago) This last week I had extreme cramping which on a scale of 1-10 for pain it was a 10!! So now my doc took me off of birth control and is sending me to a specialist (gynecologist).
Avatar f tn Does anybody have a clue about how this drug works esp for someone who had depo provera shots in the past? Will this spotting eventually lead to periods in the next coulple of days? I need to get all my hormnone levels checked on day 3 and then get an HSG done... Please advice....
Avatar f tn The last two months I have had spotting almost constantly between periods, it is almost like I have been having a 2 month menstrual cycle! This is strange because I have been on birth control for about 4 years now! I am 24 and my mom had a historectomy for her sevre endometriosis. I also have been feeling constantly nauseated the past two weeks. Does this sound like endometriosis could be causing all of this?
Avatar f tn Hi, I came across this forum and found it quite useful, I am suffering with pain at the moment, burning sensation down right an left sides of pelvis near where my ovaries are, cramps, lower back ache, I'm tired all day everyday even if I get my 8 hours, spotting/bleeding between periods, headaches, nausea, dizziness.
1471969 tn?1288803171 Some months every month and other months not at all.My periods have always been heavy.I go between 30 and 38 days between periods and it lasts 6 to 7 days. The birth control pill used to regulate me and help with the length but I have not been on them since 2002.I have been through a leep procedure, cone biopsy and had polyps removed over the years on my cervix. But never had cancer.I had precancerous cells that could of turned into cancer many years later if I did not get it taking care of.
Avatar f tn on a few rare times it was 6 to 7 wks in between. i always have major cramping and heavy flows, clotting. the periods last from 7 thru 10 days. i take pamprin to control the pain but sometimes it doesnt even work. i am now 30 & havent had a period in almost 2 mos. i just recently took 2 pregnancy tests & both were positive. i took it because i hadnt ever gone this long without a period. could i really be pregnant? with all my problems i figured i was infertile.
Avatar f tn I've been experiencing the common symptoms of Endometriosis (abdominal pain/cramps, menstural cramps starting about two weeks before my period, severe abdominal bloating, lower back aches, trouble sleeping, spotting/heavy abnormal bleeding, sweating more often, breast enlargement/tenderness, very painful ovulation, nipple darkening, nausea, fatigue, irregular periods that can have up to 45 days in between, cold feet, a lot of white/clear sticky (and thick) discharge.
Avatar n tn I have a varierty of problems lately during my period since last year ranging from heavy bleeding to spotting in between periods, to shorter cycles (21-23 days from what used to be 30 days), to light yet painful periods. One of my OB-GYNs monitored my cycle duration last year and was ready to perform a D&C if I happen to have my next period within less than 21 days which never happened. I'm not sure whether your sister neeeds to see a doctor.
Avatar f tn Anyway, the pain is not as intense as before nor my periods, but I still continue to have all types of symptoms. Spotting in between. Hip pain, abdominal pain, lower back pain, even my sides hurt. I even passed some ground coffee looking clots while I was not on my period! That made me go see my doctor asap and when I showed her the pic she had me do an immediate sonogram.
15068146 tn?1438223148 I was having periods every week, spotting in between, menstrual cycles that were short and then long. I could never pinpoint where I was at in my cycle or when my period was coming. My body had a mind of its own and it was miserable. I decided in February of this year to get the Paragard IUD since it is the only hormone free birth control method. It has worked wonders. I was having perfect cycles. 28 days long, 5 day periods that were moderate, not heavy and not light.
Avatar n tn Ok ladies...I need some advice!! I posted an entry on the 27th about my endometriosis pain. I had the depo shot about a month ago and the pain seemed to be alright for awhile. The past couple weeks, however, it has returned and gotten significantly worse. I called my doctor, and he told me I could try some medicine that basically puts me into early menopause for awhile (I'm 19 years old) but the nurse said the hot flashes and side effects would probably be pretty bad.
Avatar n tn I have a question hopefully someone can help. I've had endometriosis since I was 17, done different treatment and been lucky enough to be on my Fourth baby. The problem is with my first three daughters I had a little bit of endo pain first month or two and that was it and it usually didnt start up again until about 6-7months after I had the baby. I'm almost 6mo. now w/ my fourth and I'm having severe pain which feels like the endo pain I get.

1437126 tn?1284102658 My cycle is always regular although I have painful periods due to endometriosis. I took evening primrose oil 500 mg twice a day to increase fertility. I am not doing any protection as I've ttc for 10 years. I just had a failed ivf on july and now i'm wondering why is my periods delay and experience abdominal cramps on the left side. There is no spotting or sort of a vaginal discharge. I haven't done any test as I thought it was too early. I also experience tender breast and frequent urinating.
Avatar n tn Anway, have been on a particular brand of the contrceptive pill (combind) for 5 months. I am now having period pains and spotting. Bleeding between periods was a very regular thing for me and sometimes afer sex. I am so angry that it is taking so long to find a medication to stop my bleedng, which then leads to my back ache, related to my endometriosis. Question, Can anyone suggest a treatment, medication, or even herbal treatment to help me with the bleeding?
1939607 tn?1324292900 ), my flow is moderate and has always followed the same pattern (2 days of spotting in the beginning, 2 days of moderate flow, 1 day of light flow and 2 days of spotting in the end), i experience limited menstrual pain and I get a pelvic ultrasound every 2 years to be on the safe side. My pelvic ultrasounds have always been clear and they have never indicated anything pathological.
Avatar f tn No spotting nothing. Then around day 9 or 10 I start up again with very red spotting and little specks of tissue (sorry TMI). It only lasts a couple days, and gets lighter pink by the end, and then I am good until my period arrives usually around day 33/34. I normally ovulated around day 19 so I know it has nothing to do with implantation. We have been trying for 2+ yrs now and I have had this happening all during taking the clomid and without taking it.
Avatar n tn I don’t know what will happen, get my period back, get endometriosis again, I don’t know, but I know that now I can make the difference between Not being on a pill, being on a pill and Depo. Pill and Depo… no THANKS. Looking back, after so many years I realised that being on the pill I had PM. My message to you: If you have Endo talk to your Doctor to use the pill just for a period of time to treat Endo because I think that I used the pill for too much long (7 years).
