I would not take lamisil ever again. It is notoriously hard on your liver. Sporanox is really bad for the liver also.

Hi, I have been experiencing a red painless sore covered by white colored form on top of my penis for the last two weeks. I already consulted a dermatologist and have taken SPORANOX for first two days then have changed the medication to 'Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropoinate Cream', Tablets of 'Metronizazole 400mg 'and 'Ciprofloxacin 500'. Lab report also shows no symptom of Syphilis(VDRL is negative). I am really frustrated, any advice would be highly appreciated.

I have been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis on my face. I was asked to take sporanox capsules by the doc for a week and consult the doc soon after. The fungal infection subsided within that period but I did not consult the doc after that. The infection has returned once again . I would like to know if I should take the capsules once again for a week and then consult the doc or meet the doc before taking them.

Sounds like toenail fungus. Unfortunately the drugs that take care of it (lamasil and sporanox) are really harsh on your liver. Show your doc next time you're in the office. I wouldn't make a special trip unless its really bothering you. Meanwhile, don't file those nails, that spreads the fungus. It takes a long time to get rid of it. Good luck.

I apparently am very susceptible to fungus as I developed another cough a few years later and it was also a fungus. Sporanox and coq10 eliminated the cough totally after YEARS of hell! I observe that fungus related coughs go undiagnosed because typically many primary doctors do not even know how to test for it, and in the case of histoplasmosis it can take weeks for it to incubate in the cultures.

I am currently being treated by an infectious disease doctor, and he has me taking 100mg of Itraconazole per day. The name brand for Itraconazole is Sporanox. I still have this yeast infection! The medicine has not helped me yet. Why is this happening? I don't understand why merely taking an antibiotic for a sinus infection caused me to get a yeast infection that I just cannot get rid of? In 2015 I went to a skindoctor he could see some yeastinfection at my fingers and my feet n than he gave me Terbinafin in two months, it helped while I was taking it, but after I stopped taking it everything return to how it was before. And than the doctor gav me Sporanox (Itraconazol) but this one had no effect at all. I have been to the doctor recently when I got gas and urticaria and he told me that it is just a normal skinallergy n I just need to take allergy medicin.

t affect your period, if anything it might make the bleeding heavier. Is Arixtra the only drug you got? Perhaps you should talk to your doctor about why your period might be late... is your period usually regular?
