Common Questions and Answers about Spinning workout music instructor

workout

Avatar n tn s good advice I would add to stretch the muscles you use in spinning immediately after class (ask your instructor for examples if needed). Make sure to drink a lot of water after an intense workout, and when increasing activity it's a good idea to take multi-vitamins if you don't already. I would also recommend increasing your potassium intake (ie eat baanas). Hang in there!
Avatar f tn What kinds of exercise are you doing during your pregnancies? I'd like to workout but don't want to over do it.
797340 tn?1240507697 I have been doing cardio rehab for 4 years. I listen to my own music(ipod) because I usually don't like the music the rehab management offers. My ipod includes music from U2, Beatles, Stones, CCR, Eagles, Mellencamp, Van Morrison and other great rock artists. However, I will often switch to the wonderful voice of Anita Baker or the awesome flute played by Puerto Rican jazz artist Nestor Torres. Lately I have been focusing on the incredible melodies of the Japanese jazz pianist Keiko Matsui.
Avatar f tn I never did yoga unil now my 2nd pregnancy and your right it's beautiful I love learning how to control my body and breathing all while focusing on my unborn baby aswell and incorporating it all together as one, I absolutely love it and i enjoy it as a hobby not as a workout which is even better :)
Avatar f tn I can not wait to get back to my yoga class!!!! At first I was scared to go, thinking it was too early. The instructor said the earliness of the pregnancy is fine, but its currently too hot and that I dont want to build too much internal heat. Id say get to a yoga class. Im a first time mom, so I dont know much, but im hoping staying active will help with labor & post pregnancy body. Its important to have an instructor though, unless youre already experienced in yoga.
Avatar f tn I workout 6 sometimes 7 days a week because I am a group exercise instructor and personal trainer. I have modified everything to low impact for myself though.

Avatar f tn Hi everybody. I haven't really posted alot lately. I still do get on here and lurk now and then, and may post a line or two in reply to somebody else's thread. It's been about 9 mon. now since I came off the last treatment, that last clinical trial I did with the Debio-025. I, like anybody else with or without Hep C, have some days where I feel great. However, the energy level continues to drive me nuts and always having a 'not-well' feeling about 80% of the time.
Avatar f tn I do yoga & LOVE it! My instructor is amazing with pregnant women & I highly recommend trying yoga to release stress or to stay stress free. Also, I love my baths! Every night I listen to Pandora on the station 'Ambient Radio' & it plays the most relaxing music like rainforest & rain :) I use lush bombs too! Pamper yourself to a bath like that every night before bed! Good luck!
Avatar f tn do any of you used to workout before you found out you were pregnant? do you still workout? I used to go 4-6x/wk and now I only go 2-3x. it's freaking me out. I was trying to lose fat before. I'm about 25%bf and I'm losing the little definitions I gained because I lack motivation to workout. and being nauseous all the time doesn't help either. I want to keep working thru the pregnancy and be in 'shape' for labor.
Avatar m tn I felt no physical symptoms outside the norm in spinning class either before, during or after spinning. When my BPM became regular, it was higher than usual--dropping slowly from about 95 to 80 over the next 8 hours. My resting BPM typically ranges from 58 to 62. I have just moved to a new state and have not yet firmed up new medical care providers. Should I go to an Emergency Room soon or may I safely wait for my first appointment with my new PCP in three weeks?
Avatar n tn I never stopped working out, I am a fitness instructor and am at the gym 6 days a week. I am now 27 weeks and have had to back off a little, I get breathless easier and I have taken out so much high intensity but I still workout for 2 hours a time, burning aprox 1000 calories or so. I do light weights, high reps and heavy cardio. I hydrate A LOT. That is where you will get dizzy and overheat which is also not good for baby.
4907540 tn?1361976855 Hi guys With Transverse Myelitis is it ok to still exercise? 897494 tn?1267476064 rest, then I move on to more weights, and leg press, then to the treadmill for another 20 min interval cardio workout, using the same time routine as the eliptical workout. Is this going to get me where I want to be, I need to loose 20 lbs, and I am 28 yrs old, I have the nutrition part of it down for the most part. I just need to know in what order and what type of cardio I shoud be doing?
Avatar f tn Im a group fitness instructor and im pregnant with my second. Ive been teaching and doing my own workouts through out my pregnancy. My Dr. Said it was fine to workout but listen to your body. If your tired then don't feel bad about missing a few days. Obviously, jumping or serious heavy lifting is out. But you can definitely continue. Don't do anything you've never done before.
Avatar n tn I tested neg for GD. Google says lack of water .
Avatar f tn I continued to work out through my pregnancy but def slowed down now 3rd trimester and I was always advised by my instructor and others to avoid squats. Besides as EllaMari stated it won't necessarily help u lose weight in those areas. Try reevaluating ur diet and walking/running is always good (dep on ur lvl of fitness). After baby u can quat and workout as much as u desire.
Avatar n tn When I did crunches I always put my fingertips behind my ears without any pressure. Your abs should be the only thing working your body during an ab routine. So definitely try again but maybe try a more recent workout. There's a GREAT ab workout routine at s park p eople (no spaces) and the trainer will talk to you about how to do them without straining your neck. Good luck!
Avatar f tn Hi ladies!!! So I started out sooo well working out on my first month ... That was before my energy took a real slip and the nausea took over. So I'm on week 10, 1st pregnancy and nausea is somewhat controllable, at least enough to get back on the workout wagon. I'm wondering if anyone else has any desire to workout. I soooo badly need motivation and I really miss working out. Also Just found out that I've added 6lbs already and I'm not yet even done with my 1st trimester yet.
1626629 tn?1329422329 My morning has been tough.....so I listen to music in hopes that it will pass the time. I listen to Sara Evans...A little bit stronger. That song is about a realationship that ended....I think of my relationship with pills. Just another realazation of how much control they can have.....but her words are encouraging!!
Avatar m tn Music was and still is my savior! Glad to see you moving forward with a positive attitude!
Avatar f tn I've never had a frank breech, but from what I've read there are Dr's who will vaginally deliver them you just have to look around. I've read a lot about it and it comes down to being informed on birthing positions, being in tuned with your body, and knowing the risks. Women have done it without complications. In the mean time check out spinning babies website, and sit on birthing ball/stand as much as possible.
14991338 tn?1447193706 I notice alot of the time if not all the time, post workout i get lightheaded. Its not spinning, but asif im falling forward like i will just drop. Now ive had heart echo, 24hr holter and a stress test and they havent reavealed anything dangerous or anything relating to exercise. I do and probably always will get anxious when i exercise, almost asif im waiting for something to happen.
Avatar f tn The problem is, I have a very difficult time running, spinning or even climbing the stairs at my house without my calves and thighs burning. It takes about 3 minutes into a workout to feel what I think I should be feeling at the end of my workout. I feel like my muscles are going to jump out of my skin and they are on fire. It makes it hard to get through my workouts. What the could this be? It has always been this way.
Avatar f tn Just curious, and since virtually everyone loves music, what is you're fav. Music genre? Fav bands? Fav songs? I personally love heavy metal, love bands like Slipknot, Mudvayne, Pantera, Lamb of God..etc. However I love classic rock, Queen, Bad co. Kansas, etc. I'm also in love with Amy Lee (from Evanescence) voice. Love that band.. yes, I have a soft side lol.
483733 tn?1326798446 s why the 5 mile walk is nice because you have the option to do the workout with just the music and no instruction (she must have gotten a few "suggestions" after a few of her dvds lol)
