my boyfriend&i been toghter for a year, i'm 20 and hes 23. I'm in school for medical assisting, i start externship next month and been very nervous about that. I'm getting straight A's in school but my boyfriend is always telling me how he doesn't see me doing this. My problem is i'm very textbook smart but when it comes to pronouncing words i have a very hard time. it's a bad speech problem i always had since i was little.
This isnt baby related but i jist had an interview for an externship and i got hired!!:) going to have a bright new future for my little bundle of joy!!!
s thyroiditis have tongue issues that has/had an impact on your speech? I have the scalloped appearance to my tongue, a swollen feeling near the back and underneath the tongue which affects my speech. Did the thyroid meds fix the problem and if so, how long did it take?
If I ask him to go out somewhere he always declines... I go to school and work plus and externship... clean our house im very tired but I still have energy to do stuff.. I feel like he is embarrassed to go out with me... I hate being stuck in the room all day and I have no friends up here because I moved away from all of them .
Son just turned 4, I finished school and started an externship meanwhile quit working, husband also so thinking Aug was the most stressful month ever and didn't have period due to stress. Okay, so I was immunized as a child; got my hep B shots when I was younger. I got my titer test done back in 2006 and my doctor didn't say much about it. Just that I dont need to worry about it. Now I'm required to have that titer test in order to start my externship for school and I would have to be immune to do so. My results show negative for the Hep B core and positive for the Hep B virus surface. What does that mean? How do I know if I am immuned?
So, around this time last year I experienced tingling in my left hand that lasted for a few days, coupled with extreme fatigue. Days later, I developed nystagmus only upon waking that lasted for about 10 minutes or so. That eventually went away after about a month. About six months later I had a severe headache that migrated to my right eye and lasted for over a week. Went to an optometrist, no optic neuritis.
Pathology report shows infiltrating mammary carcinoma, no special type, low combined histologic grade, Low proliferative rate with apocrine cytology, measuring at least 6MM in greatest extent (best measrued on P63 IHC Slide) Calponin and P63 show absence of myoepithelial cells int he neoplastic tubules, consistent with an invasive interpretation. Immunohistochemical studies for estrogen receptor and progesteron receptor are negative.
My questions: No special type? What does that mean?
You can still request that your slides be read by another Pathology Lab. If you aren't seeing a Breast Specialist I suggest that you do so and this might help clear things up for you. I'm sure you are more than aggravated at how things have gone in the past. I'm not sure why the ADH wouldn't show up on Excisional Biopsy unless the area was so small that it was removed by the previous needle procedure/ OR/ the Excisional Biopsy did not include the area of ADH.
Please consult doctor or get the X ray cervical spine done to rule out cervical pathology. Avoid thick pillows too and also get your blood pressure checked.

Really very sorry to hear that. From your question it appears as though there is a pathology in brain--like aneurysm, hematoma etc due to injury. I am sure MRI must have been done after and before surgery. What do the reports say? Have you consulted a senior neurologist?
A more detailed information about medical reports and Neurologist's opinion will be very helpful.
Things have been going pretty well, I have finished PT, am increasing my activity level soon (finishing school and doing externship) mid Jan, when I began to notice an ache in my left hip - it feels like it is inside near the joint of my leg. It seems to be more frequent now. I have sensitivity on my illiac crest that was noted by the PT. Is this normal or is this something I should get the doctor involved with?
My other symptoms, which began to appear in 2003, include hand tremors, poor balance and co-ordination, dizziness, fatigue, pain in my legs when walking anything more than 50 yards, short-term memory loss, slurred speech, poor articulation (which comes and goes) and sensitivity to my head and arms.
I had a single MRI scan earlier this year; the results of which were inconclusive and while the neurologist refuses to rule out the possibilty of MS, I am left completely in the dark.
I disagree with the teacher. I would change him to a different school. He is too young to be labelled. Making noises can be very common for young children. I am not sure what type of noises you are referring to. It could be normal and not related to a tic disorder. But, it is also possible your son has a tic disorder. Tics are very common for children. Most go away within a year.
Had routine knee repair surgery and the anesthesiologist came out and told me I would have a sore throat for awhile because she couldn't find a tube small enough to put in my trach, so she had to force the one she had down it. My husband was diagnosed with Graved Disease and has had radio iodine therapy in March. He has since fallen severely hypothyroid and has slurred speech as well as fatigue, weight gain, and irritability. His MD has put him on Synthroid, but my question is will his speech go back to normal and if so, how long? It's very disturbing to hear because it sounds as if he has been drinking (he doesn't at all), and I'm worried how this may affect him long term.
Did laproscopy and bagged and removed ovary without rupture. Pathology report came back with FIGO grade II endometrioid adenocarcinoma of ovary (ovarian cancer) Fallopian tube attached was benign. By CA125 was 121. I am going in for complete hysterectomy and debulking soon. Have first appt. with gyn/oncolog. on the 12th and then hopefully schedule surgery soon after. Am anxious about the wait time! I'm so afraid something may be spreading while I am waiting.
My husband had a complete thyroidectomy and his pathology results are being sent for a diagnostic consultation. The report stated : right lobe : preliminary diagnosis- Oncocytic adenoma 3mm
left lobe : preliminary diagnosis-Oncocytic neoplasm 3cm
What does this mean ? Why did they need a second opinion ?
