Avatar f tn ve kept from going crazy is to try to put the word out about Lyme disease. And not just on forums! Library bulletin boards, church bulletin boards, community centers----- etc. But always with permission! There are several free-to-print flyers/brochures available on the Web. One is http://knowlyme.wordpress.
Avatar m tn I suggest do lots of googol search, read from doctors, read smart articles, news letters but don’t automatically listen to people on bulletin boards, or do a search on posters who you should listen to who you shouldn’t.
Avatar n tn Wherever you go to see your Psychiatrist, when you walk in the building, look for on on the bulletin boards for memos for support groups for Anxiety. If you see none, ask him/her. Or call and ask the secretary. Or look online. Your nearby hospital might have some. Possibly punching in your zipcode might turn-up one or two, maybe at a local community center or religious house. All good avenues. Yea, you're back to square one. So work your magic and get into a support group.
Avatar m tn When I first noticed the bump, I went to the doctor. He tested me, and I came back positive for HSV2. I started taking suppressive meds (acyclovir 800mg/day). The bump popped, diminished, then a month later came back, still no itch, no pain. I'm thinking this is a HSV2 outbreak and treat it with increased acyclovir. Time goes by and I'm asking questions on the HSV bulletin boards, and its not adding up. Finally I figure out it must be a wart.
Avatar m tn If oral sex was as common a transmission route for HIV as the bulletin boards you are reading suggest, it would be all over the medical journals and the CDC website. NOT just a few posts on a bulletin board on the body. You also have to take into account a few key words. They SAID IT WAS THEIR ONLY RISK?? So you will just take somebody's word that because they post in a public forum they are telling the truth? You NEVER see words like VERIFIED or CONFIRMED in these statements do you?
Avatar n tn (I had my hip replace 2 years ago and there were numeroous web-based bulletin boards with tons of information and support.) I have not found that for SNAC wrist problems. Any suggestions? If there is no group we should create one....there are others out there who need it too.
452063 tn?1324074916 I know you can post a 4 day bulletin. You can do this. You're doing so good, you don't want to go back. Good luck and I'll be looking for the 4 day bulletin.
Avatar f tn We cannot go a day without a negative report from his teacher - he refuses to listen, disrupts the class, takes down things hanging on walls, bulletin boards, etc.., and has just yesterday cut a classmates hair. Each night we discuss with him what is expected of him at school, the importance of respect and take away privileges when he comes home with a negative report. So far, nothing has seemed to work. His response is always "It's too hard to make good decisions.
Avatar m tn I want to talk to others who have been through this and can provide support and advice on procedures, doctors, etc. (I had my hip replace 2 years ago and there were numeroous web-based bulletin boards with tons of information and support.) I have not found that for SNAC wrist problems. Any suggestions? If there is no group we should create one....there are others out there who need it too.
923401 tn?1243900156 from yourtotalhealthvillage ******* Gallbladder Removal & GERD By: Ronen Arai Question : How common are GERD-like symptoms after gallbladder surgery? My two sisters and I have had our gallbladders removed, and we all have problems with severe heartburn, burning in the esophagus, or acid reflux. I've read hundreds of posts on the gallbladder bulletin boards and found many other people who report the same problems.
Avatar n tn Is a stable (2mm brain artery) intracranial infundibula without frank aneurysm formation found on MRA study in a 56 year old men considered a pathology or normal variant? What's difference between brain arterial vessel infundibula(s) and frank aneurysm?
Avatar f tn Hi, I don't blame ya one bit for not wanting to take him to the humane society. Sometimes they don't even give them a week before they're put down. =( Anyway, I would put an ad in the paper and put signs on the bulletin boards in vet's offices. Many vets have these!! You can always explain that the cat needs to be the only cat in the home. I imagine that the poor thing had to fight other cats all the time living on the streets, and that's all he knows. That is so sad.
Avatar m tn s thyroiditis have tongue issues that has/had an impact on your speech? I have the scalloped appearance to my tongue, a swollen feeling near the back and underneath the tongue which affects my speech. Did the thyroid meds fix the problem and if so, how long did it take?
674607 tn?1240017232 Yes its common and I don't have so much of a problem with it now from bipolar but I used to but I'd say in general its best to keep schedules of what needs to be done, journals, reminders, bulletin boards. I have this issue now from other disabilities but it works just the same. The typical thing that happens is you say "where did the day go by?'. Very familiar with it. The best thing to do is to plan the day out as needed.
Avatar n tn The only one who can answer your question isn't going to be found on this bulletin board. Just some friendly advice, though, at any age a heart attack can take a life, and at 82, with heart problems, and cancer, the odds are quickly adding up against your Dad.
1125489 tn?1309305871 Currently many people have treated with interferon in various forms and types of treatments and yet many doctors are unfamiliar with some rather common side effects. One reads about them with enough regularity in bulletin boards and yet there is little done in studies or in documentation and quantification of the resultant issues. Therefore the information remains largely anecdotal. So....is it possible? Maybe, but if you search you will not find it to be a common side effect of TX.
202436 tn?1326474333 I would definitely consider putting up ads everywhere I could think of, including on community bulletin boards in the local grocery stores. I would not return them to the feral community. Hang in there, because I am certain someone will eventually adopt these lovely little felines. Lots of people want kittens, but every cat I've ever adopted myself have already been past the kitten stage. And, I was not sorry that they were already adults either.
Avatar f tn If clinical visual exam yields no significant finding and no orodental complaints, and past x-rays did not reveal hard tissue pathology, current x-ray may not be indicated. Seeing a dentist who can meet your demand is advised.
Avatar f tn So, around this time last year I experienced tingling in my left hand that lasted for a few days, coupled with extreme fatigue. Days later, I developed nystagmus only upon waking that lasted for about 10 minutes or so. That eventually went away after about a month. About six months later I had a severe headache that migrated to my right eye and lasted for over a week. Went to an optometrist, no optic neuritis.
Avatar f tn You can also give flyers to local medical clinics, psychiatric clinics, even post them on bulletin boards around town. It would be a great opening gambit if you could get a doctor or psychologist to be the guest speaker at that first meeting!. I realize this may sound like a lot of work, but when I couldn't find a group, I thought about doing this.

Avatar f tn Pathology report shows infiltrating mammary carcinoma, no special type, low combined histologic grade, Low proliferative rate with apocrine cytology, measuring at least 6MM in greatest extent (best measrued on P63 IHC Slide) Calponin and P63 show absence of myoepithelial cells int he neoplastic tubules, consistent with an invasive interpretation. Immunohistochemical studies for estrogen receptor and progesteron receptor are negative. My questions: No special type? What does that mean?
Avatar f tn You can still request that your slides be read by another Pathology Lab. If you aren't seeing a Breast Specialist I suggest that you do so and this might help clear things up for you. I'm sure you are more than aggravated at how things have gone in the past. I'm not sure why the ADH wouldn't show up on Excisional Biopsy unless the area was so small that it was removed by the previous needle procedure/ OR/ the Excisional Biopsy did not include the area of ADH.
