Does your daughter have any insurance at all? You don't need to be covered to get her evaluated. It's a state program and everything is paid for. My son is getting speech therapy and occupational therapy and I don't pay a cent...my insurance is covering some of the sessions and Early Steps picks up the rest. It doesn't matter how much you make, etc....it's free for everyone. Check into it...

The school district you live in can evaluate him to determine if he qualifies for speech/language therapy. One of my children was evaluated for not talking at age three, received services from out school district as a preschooler and then no longer needed language services by the time he was a kindergartner and then no longer needed speech services by the time he was in 2nd grade.
