1415482 tn?1459702714 Do you eat other kinds of meats? What kind of fruits and veggies do you eat? I really like making quiche with egg whites. Spray cooking oil and coat a muffin tray lightly with bread crumbs. Then mix 4 egg whites, 1 cup of veggies (onions, mushrooms, and spinach are my go to), 1/2 cup broiled chicken breast, 1-2 Tbsp of light cheese, and about 2-4 Tbsp of milk (Avoid overly liquid, but just enough that it's not just globs of veggies covered in egg).
1346724 tn?1282322904 s leaning to PDD-NOS and I was wondering if I should try a diet like that or the Feingold diet. Has any one tried either one or which one would be a better diet to follow?
20602810 tn?1501685257 m so confused with all the different lists online.  My doctor advised taking extra cinnamon in my diet but when I just had surgery on a 6mm stone in my urethra, my diet needs to be changed because cinnamon has high oxalate....but some lists online say it's low oxalate.  Please help me, if you can, in a website that has an accurate low oxalate list of foods and recipes that I can eat being Diabetic AND low oxalate.
Avatar n tn Look up I breathe I'm hungry, wonderful page with great keto recipes. Also look up diabetes daily.
Avatar f tn There are many others you could try, including Hills k/d diet. You can also add things to the prescribed diet to make it tastier, such as a teaspoon of all-natural honey, plain unsweetened yogurt or a desertspoon of cooked cabbage. All these additives are useful in different ways. I am assuming the Royal Canin is the tinned variety - NOT the dry variety? If it's the dry variety, let me know. If you haven't already read it, try having a look at my article: http://www.infobarrel.
649848 tn?1534633700 Can we have our comfort foods and still maintain a healthy diet? I believe we can. Two ways to do that are by changing to ingredients that will make our favorite foods more diet friendly; and by portion control. I've already committed in another thread, to implement the portion control; now I'm looking for good recipes that will allow us to have the foods we really like, without completely breaking the diet.
1202943 tn?1347840652 ve noticed that the ones who are posting various gluten free recipes are ones who have already gone through some of the trials and tribulations of testing out recipes that work, so definitely look online for recipes you want to try out. You can even look for some gluten free rhubarb or apple crisp recipes. These are recipes that don't need binders, because the crisp isn't meant to completely hold together.
Avatar f tn I made very thin pork chops last night. Special request by finace...a little salt & pepper, served with "red" spanish rice (color by Goya sason) and a nice salad. Would like to learn how to cook German food.
Avatar f tn Hi I am currently 28 weeks pregnant and found out I have gallstones. They have told me to eat a fat free and dairy freediet for the next 12 weeks when iI will be checked again as surgery whilst I'm pregnant is risky. I am having a really hard time coming up with recipes and options to fill myself up, so far nothing I make had any flavour and it is putting me off eating. Does anyone have any recipes they could share?
Avatar n tn As an alternative with chemo I would like to begin a low/no sugar diet for her to see if this helps with treatment. I have some ideas for diet changes and recipes, however I want to start a vitamin to supplement some nutritional loss from the chemo. Does anyone know if there is a vitamin that exists that is low/no sugar added and how to get it? I am also interested in knowing if there are over the counter medications like tylenol that are no sugar too.
Avatar n tn Has any one else been placed on a low sodium diet by their baby doctor? I was told I have high blood pressure and just as a caution I should go on a low sodium diet. So I've been Googling recipes and things but I'm not finding to many. Does any one has some advice about the diet or some amazing recipes? That would be amazing!!
Avatar n tn Hi ozarkskye, my advice is based on my own experience, as I'm not a physician but have been a diabetic for 11 years. There are many diet plans for diabetics, but the ones that work best are usually custom-made for individuals, tailored to their specific needs by their nutritionist/dietitian. Was the diet plan your doctor gave you created with your input and have you discussed your concerns with him?
Avatar f tn Does any one recommend the special k diet? I did it a few years ago & it worked for me for the most part.
Avatar n tn Can anyone give me tips on a good diet plan or food to eat to lose fat and weight?
9535135 tn?1512335891 Try and Google what power pumping is. Also there's recipes for lactation cookies. I've also heard that mother's milk tea helps as well as staying hydrated. Don't give up mama!
Avatar n tn I would suggest looking for whole food plant-based recipes online. There is a huge body of evidence pointing to the ability of the diet to reverse type 2 diabetes and lower cholesterol levels. Give it a shot for a couple weeks and check your blood scores! I hope this helps!
1943833 tn?1349276589 Even if your puppy was healthy I would not recommend it but considering their is renal disease, a veterinary approved diet is what is necessary. R/D is a balanced diet, even for a growing puppy. In fact their is a food made from Hill's called K/D that is specifically designed for renal disease. A study was done years ago out of Colorado state university that showed even puppies fed k/d; a protein restricted diet, received all the necessary nutrition for a healthy life.
484167 tn?1210001396 has anyone tried the weight watchers program online? i am considering it but i do not want to waste my $....i always thought you had to attend meetings and get weekly weigh-ins...not sure if it is such a great idea to leave it all up to me...?? anyways, any info or input is greatly appreciated...thanks...
1156486 tn?1262394803 THANK YOU for the information. I was able to find the cookbook and that made me feel a LOT better about the "diet" thing. I also finally realized that it's a LOW idodine not a NO idodine diet. Yesterday (Monday) was my grocery shopping day and today (Tuesday) is going to be my "cooking and freezing" day because Wednesday will be the day I go off my meds. I have received wonderful advice on this site and I am very thankful for people taking the time to write to me.
7058746 tn?1393435420 Online really scared me.
