Avatar m tn Well heck, I am a year late, again. Just want to add, I am a G3, dual therapy (peginterferon-alfa2a & ribavirin). Currently at the end of my 31st of 48 week tx. I have had little or no fun most of that time, all but refusing the pain meds my Dr.s will give, tramadol, hydrocodone.Try as I might to get a script for MMJ they refuse to write, but say they have no problem if I do get a script.
303824 tn?1294875001 Well I have ADD and I've found Green Tea Helpful. Usually they treat ADD with a stimulant and Green Tea seems to have the right amount of caffine. I would make sure that you try age appropriate remedies though. I've also heard Omega-3, and B vitamins help. I haven't had much success with those personally. Maybe you could try aroma-therapy. Try burning some essential oil in the background while he is trying to do his homework. Does he have homework? Lavender works well.
645390 tn?1338558977 Well, now it is Asthma. I had a virus about 2 months ago, and this cough/shortness of breath/chest pressure has stayed with me. I have a history of asthma, but have been "fine" for the last 6 years or so. I have been having lots of trouble breathing, and PCP has had me on now 3 rounds of prednisone, inhalers, etc. No improvement, sent me to a pulmonologist yesterday. I have been also having extreme upper back pain that wraps around me, feels like the MS hug I had in the past.
Avatar n tn about 5 years ago i was tested positive for hpv and had displasia (sp). they removed the cells and all was fine with no reaccuring displasia (sp). since then i get tested yearly for all STDs. i have not tested positive for any other STD till this year. i have been with my husband for 2 1/2 years and this is the third time i have been tested with him. the previous two tests have come back negative, is it possible they were both false negatives or the chlamydia was dormant?
Avatar m tn My dr. gave me ritlain (sp?) for adult add. This is the first time I ever used it. He gave me a month supply to try out which is 5mg once a day in the morning. I have been taking it for the past 5 days and he wants me to call him back in 2 days and let him know how I am doing on the medication. He said since this is the first time taking it that he would start me at a low dose. Here is the problem it starts working a little after 30 minutes and only last up to 3 hours.
Avatar f tn I have been under care for Depression for 10 years, OCD with Hoarding symptons for 4 years, and Adult ADD for 2 years. I have been going to a chiropractor for almost 2 years because of pain. But the the pain continues to worsen along with fatique and muscle/joint pain, trouble walking, stiffness, CRS (can't remember s**t-lol). My job performance suffers because some days I just can't get out of bed.
1494729 tn?1304884680 I copy and pasted it from a message to someone else. Others will probably add to it.Good luck man RLS (restless leg syndrome), (twitchy legs and arms) 1) There's two products made by Hylands brand. *Hylands restful legs and *Hylands leg cramp. 15480 tn?1302533402 So he had to wait until the dogs arrived, of course the dogs found nothing ( Shane has never done drugs and never hauled drugs and never would). I understand that they are just doing their job but what happened next was uncalled for. The two officers starting interrogating my husband asking him how much his truck and trailer cost, how could he afford something like this, how much his load of oranges paid, how much money he makes.Clearly this information is none of their business.
387767 tn?1345875627 Hubby always wanted a dog so I agreed to take him on a TRIAL basis. His name is Connor, he's part Terrier and Chiwahua (sp?) and brown and white in color, small but so precious, about a year old. The girl said we can give him back if it doesn't work out because he's the favorite there. No way can this dog ever replace my Tommy, but just in case we want another cat, the rescue lady said that he is good with other dogs and cats, except real large ones. He's so mellow, he doesn't even bark!
Avatar f tn Something to help you relax and be able to sleep? My Cardiologist said it was ok to take Clonazepam (sp?) a benzodiazapine (sp?) to help relax and sleep. Of course I wouldn't use it all of the time....but once in a while?
Avatar f tn favorite baggy sweats, shoes, yeah right, with this foot? Ok I am done for now. Please feel free to add your own! New and getting there almost exercise programs! Or what ever it was that made you feel good, what you do now!
Avatar n tn This past weekend i fingered a bar girl (i couldnt see visible cuts on my finger), sucked ****, and received a hand job. My real concern is when receiving the hand job she used her saliva for lubrication. She spit approximately 3 times. The room was dark so i couldnt see if there was blood or if she had sores in her mouth. She did have braces which concerns me regarding the possibility of cuts in her mouth. Should i have any concerns regarding this encounter?
184342 tn?1282592350 so the new district couldn't offer him the job until all this paperwork was done and he quit his job.... anyway, he talked to everyone out at his current district and they didn't see a problem with it- he helped to find a person to fill his position, etc... we thought it was all in place and he'd have a great job! NOT to mention that at this current district we pay $1100 a month for insurance, and his new job would be $350! That money would really help out with a 2nd child on the way!!
171768 tn?1324233699 I also like McDonalds vanilla ice cream. Its cheap down here. As for keeping cool. Not much. My job is AC and my house so I don't go out much. I live in Florida so its HOT. I have a pool so I spend time in there alot. Gonna be a long summer!

1148619 tn?1332014584 Brianmo and His3707 -- It is a weird feeling to finally get started, hunh? Kinda like starting a new job, only not that type of 'excitement.' Your new 'job' will be to find a system to make sure you remember to take all your meds on time, each day. I too, am on the lead-in with the SOCs, and will add Victrelis at the end of the month. Best to you! I'll keep an eye out to see how you are doing. P.S.....
739070 tn?1338607002 I'm tired of feeling bad, I'm tired of testing and I am petrified that all of my executive cognitive function is going to be lost. I cannot do my job with a huge deficit in my memory skills. I do not want to go on disability. To top it off, I still am waiting on the final dx on my son after his visit to Shriners, the rheumy has not called with her dx and it is weariing on my nerves. My son is losing weight and it is scaring me.
Avatar m tn I just saw an add on TV asking Obama to support Senate Resolution 636 which is titled "Recognizing the strategic success of the troop surge in Iraq and expressing gratitude to the members of the United States Armed Forces who made that success possible." Should he? What do you think the pros and cons of him supporting or not support it would be?
Avatar f tn Fast for one day drink 4 cups of straigt lemon juice one shot of whiskey and one Rockstar or Monster energy drink...which everone u like best....My preference is to add the shot to your Energy drink and drink it slowly but chugg the lemon juice. The energy drink does not do its job in fact it does the opposite....the whiskey turns the energy drink into a relax aid and the lemon juice makes it get into your blood very rapidly....
Avatar f tn surgery in May 2008 with no relief of the pain. I started my Lupron shots with add back therapy the second week of July and had no bleeding with the first shot. Does anyone know if this is common with Lupron shots? Everything I read says that your cycles should stop during treatment...Also, anyone who has experiences iwth Lupron would be greatly appreciate it. After two injections I'm not feeling any relief....is this common??? Any help would be great!
Avatar f tn My doc put me on xanax which made me sleep so much and I was scared to take it for fear of it harming my heart. I've taken paxil, celexa (sp?) and lexapro for a couple months at a time-just made me gain weight which absolutely makes me miserable, when they didn't really help all that much anyway. I am only 21 and I dread the thought of dealing with this my whole life: A constant/nightly fear of death.
Avatar f tn I hate self diagnosers (jk), and I am one of them lol. Anyways, after reading about MS and twitching and fiscillations (sp), I started developing all of the symptoms. Trouble swallowing, double vision ( ive had my eyes looked at twice and they say I look very healthy just a stigmatism and a little near sided.) Anyways, the Dr.s did soo many bloode tests from thyroid, to b12, iron, magnesium, everything came back normal. Also an MRI of my c spine came back healthy also.
Avatar n tn Oh and i've already have a care credit card but its more then maxed out, I lost my job due to the economy and have been tryin to pick myself back up, this couldn't have happened at a worse time.
Avatar f tn I have tried time out, sending her to her room, making her go to bed early, taking priviledges(sp?) away, and even spanking her. I hardly ever spank. I know that they are going through a lot and I try so hard to be able to get a long with them and be there for them but when it comes to the oldest nothing I do is working. We have been going to church lately and there is a lady that she really likes and it just tears me up cause we use to be like that.
Avatar m tn Let me start by saying I've done this before a few years ago and it was REALLY intense. I'm talking a week of withdrawals including, vomiting, depression, flu symptoms, shakes, insomnia, etc. This time around is mild in comparison. I took vicodin & percocet (sp) for about 5 weeks (I know not very long). I'm have mild withdrawal symptoms but they still really suck. I have to stay at work and I'm shaky, cold, restless, headache, bodyache, etc.
Avatar m tn Maybe I wouldn't have a great job, but I would at least be able to work and feel pleasure in life. Many ADD kids can become successful adults without medication. They just have to find their niche. I know many people who did not take meds who are thriving in the life paths that they have chosen. Please visit my website www.ritalinawareness.com and read my story and the research that I have presented on how long-term prescription stimulant use can lead to depression.
611067 tn?1458595083 I'm still on liquids only for the most part, but have been allowed to add sugar free jello and sugar free/low fat pudding. I was also told that I should add Chlorofil (sp?) into my water because it helps cleanse the body and helps the pancreas and the spleen. It doesn't taste great, but it's worth it. I also added a protein drink this morning. It's an EAS drink with no sugar and low fat, but has some soy protein in it to at least give me that. I'm in the bathroom all the time! UGH!!!
167426 tn?1254089835 The only thing I would add to the above advice is keep track of all treatment procedures dates, WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING !!!!!
Avatar f tn I want to stop drinking and me and my husband are addicted to alcohol. we drink every day all day when we can. I do not want to lose my job and income. I have no one to lean on if fired. How do we stop together and with out AA?
