sore nose from blowing nose

00 am (last night) with uncontrollable sneezing.The amount of stuff I was blowing out of my nose was ridiculous! I was very congested in my nose and head and it has not stopped. Am I having an allergic reaction to something? Or is this something else? Not sure what to do. I also have a pressure headache!

It seems that every time I am sick with a cold and I blow my nose, there is blood in it. The blood is not coming from my nose, it is in the "snot" and is coming from further back. (sorry I dont know how to better to explain this). Yesterday it was about a teaspoon of blood, but was thick. What does this mean? I have had septoplasty and turbino plasty 4 years ago. Would this be related?

I just have never had a situation where there was soreness only with the pressure of blowing my nose, and at no other time.

Not sure where to put this. I had the canker sore from hell for like three weeks and just as that healed up I got sores in both nostrils. Very painful. Not sure what else to do. Never happened before.

(Today) Odor really bad, somewhat constant (90%) other than that, no fever/cold, not really stuffed up...but blowing my nose hoping to get rid of the mucus there and the smell. Please Help!

In most cases, the same should stop with rest and the person is strictly asked not to do any activity which can raise the CSF pressure (like lifting weight and blowing the nose hard) and also receive laxatives and cough suppressants if they suffer from constipation and cough respectively.Do not be alarmed but visit an ENT surgeon for an opinion.

So I'm 7wks 3days pregnant.. I just recently have came down with stuffy nose. Whenever I blow my nose, I get sharp pains in my lower abdomin by my right pelvic area. Maybe I'm blowing my nose too hard or idk. I usually get small cramping here and there in that area which I know is normal but the sharp pain is kinda weird and only when I blow my nose. Maybe I'm pulling something? Any ideas?

Hello! I've been dealing with stuffiness on and off for about 3-4 weeks now. Originally my doctors thought it was a sinus infection and gave me antibiotics. However, I think it started off with bad allergies (possibly) and because I used Afrin longer than suppose to, I'm thinking it turned into rebound congestion. Some days I have 0 congestion and some days I have some. Recently I started to cut down on the afrin (I went from twice a day to once a day) and I'm using Flonase.

ve had it this whole pregnancy havnt been able to breath out my nose since I hit 12 weeks and the months of blowing my nose has given me bad nose bleeds daily. The only thing that help a lil is nose sprays, im 37 weeks so hopefully not much longer til I can breath normal again.

Said to use saline spray and lots of saline gel and drink a lot of water as I am dry all over. I did find out I am very allergic to molds, grass and tree pollen and started allergy shots 3 months ago but have gotten worse since last year when this all started. Always raked leaves with no problem before that. Now I need a mask to vacuum.

I have them almost daily from blowing my nose too hard. Its just increased blood flow to the membranes in your nose.

I'm 10wks n I have had any yet but today I got a blood blowing my nose when did u guys start get them??

The reaction of itching/sneezing/ nose blowing remained with me from Saturday through to Wednesday and I still have an area on the outside of my nose which is red and blistered due to constant itching and blowing of my nose (rather like a cold sore) I feel much better now however and thank you again for your response.

I have had a stuffy nose for the past week or so and I don't understand why I have taken meds and they are not working and I have tried blowing it and still nothing, I am just wondering could I have the stuffy nose cus im pregnant?
