Mine became tender at 5wks, I'm now 11 and they eased up but are still hurting and sore every now and again. But everyone is different, trust me they will start to change before you know it.

Is it bright red blood? Call your doctor tomorrow and tell them what's going on. They might want to do a u/s of your breast to check it, it might be nothing but you need to let them know. Have you been squeezing them a lot or hard? Or maybe hubby playing with them to much?

Last time I gained two cup sizes in a week. They were so sore . This time the growth and pain is far less extreme. I've only just grown about half a cup size and I'm 7wks.

I started introducing a bottle at a week old as my nipples were so sore and he was feeding 24/7 and it hurt. If you can, get Lansonol / Lansinoh for your nipples - it's an absolute godsend for sore nipples, apply it several times a day and it doesn't need to be washed off before you feed again.

I do not personally get sore nipples when i ovulate i get sore nipples when i am due to get AF though which is after ovulation. Everyones body is different though so it could be a sign for you but for me its after ovulation when im due on.
