2020005 tn?1628125976 I was thinking about upping my exercise from every other day, to daily. Right now I'm doing Zumba every other day, and occasionally (when it's nice) walking my kids. I've been doing this since the beginning of the month, not missing one day of my exercise, and I'm still not "built up" to where I can exercise daily. If I try to do 2 days in a row I'm SO incredibly sore it's unreal.. is this normal? And advice?
Avatar f tn try a dvd by zumba or another trainer you like, and mix it up. Don't do the same routine all the time. Confuse your muscles by having a different routine every day.

Apart from clinical neurological examination, MRI shows MS as paler areas of demyelination, two different episodes of demyelination separated by one month in at least two different brain locations. Spinal tap is done and CSF electrophoresis reveals oligoclonal bands suggestive of immune activity, which is suggestive but not diagnostic of MS.
Avatar n tn Well when I have had upper respiratory infections, I was told by my doctor not to exercise so that it would not spread to the lower respiratory organs. Same for ear, nose, eye and some skin infections the advice and signs at the public swimming baths say not to go swimming. I am not a doctor, but am only quoting what a professional doctor's advice given to me. But to me it does make sense not to exert the body and to rest it to allow for the body to recover quicker.

1323047 tn?1279193919 Well, I can say that once a week would give you the highest instance of saddle soreness, as the riding would not be consistant enough to use your riding muscles enough to condition them properly. "weekend warrior" symptoms can be painful, indeed (at any age!). That said, before riding, or doing any exercise, it is important to warm up your body with some light stretching exercises, and repeat after exercise as a cooldown.

I also massage from that point all along the jawline, down my neck, up the temples. Use pain as your guide. You really cannot do any harm if you are stopping when your pain is telling you it hurts and to stop. There are two muscles that are in the mouth, the masseter (biggest) and pterygoid (smaller and tighter),and you can touch them both from the inside and out.

I do not have a fever or headache, nor sensitivity to light. But, is it possible that I contracted meningitis from the toliet water after using the pipe and handling the keys? Last Sunday, I started the gym again and did vigorous ab exercises (sit ups and crunches) after a year-long haitus. I also did arm exercises with weights.

I do suffer from anxiety disorder and sometimes sleep with my arms over my head under my pillows. But I have been sleeping like that most of my life and never woke up sore. I am also for the most part vegetarian now. My husband says I seemed to be at my most healthy on holiday when I was having the occasional steak and some sweet treats.

222135 tn?1236488221 s case, the only exercise equipment he would recommend is an exercise bike with no resistance. Do not do anything that builds up muscles. Do you have hypertonicity?? Have you thought about going to one of your sister's neuros?? With a family history, one of their docs may be a good choice. Just for a diagnosis. I don't think waiting till July is that great of an idea.

Muscles that are not well conditioned do not work well and require extra effort to perform including your heart which can lead to heart disease. 30 mins of moderate exercise most days of the week is normally sufficient to help promote cardiac health.

Im sure you've had sore muscles in the past from lifting weights, it really has a specific feel to it. It is as you know im sure muscle type aches, usually in the areas you worked out. If something is a really sharp unrelenting pain, that can usually be a sign that you may have injured something and need to see an md.
