Avatar f tn My muscles and joints have been really sore the past couple of days and I haven't done anything for them to have reason to be sore? Especially in my left leg, foot and shoulder! I hate it bc I'm 26 years old and should be able to run and play with my kids and just can't!
Avatar n tn My muscles are so sore & They feel so heavy, like when I lift them to get in the car. I also have so much trouble with my feet I can't exercise. I have diabetes & I really need to excercise What do you think it could be?
Avatar m tn Basically these are back exercises to strengthen the back muscles, help you maintain an erect posture. Exercises to strengthen the leg muscles are also done to support correct posture while standing and ease the pressure off the back while lying down. Swimming is also a good exercise which you can do in addition. Sometimes along with physiotherapy, you need manual therapy like traction to bring the disc back in place. Please consult a physiotherapist. Take care!

Avatar n tn Muscle spasms are certainly a side symptom of OA and RA for a variety of reasons. A nutritional imbalance could be the culprit, or dehydration. Also, when your neck hurts, for example, your muscles unconsciously tense up to "protect" the sore area. The constant stress causes the muscles to become tired, sore and actually inflamed. Cramping, spasms and nerve compression can result.
Avatar n tn On last Wednesday, my left upper eye lid began twitching and did not calm down until Friday. Then I began noticing twitching all over my body. The muscles would twitch a few times, then when I moved it would stop. I am very concerned about this, and always get myself worked up when stuff happens to me. I am a 22 year old male with Crohn's Diesease, and I am currently wheening myself off of Entocort (Corticosteriod). Should I be concerned about these symtoms?
Avatar n tn I've got sore muscles all over my body,my legs,my back, arms, fingers etc. Could this be because I have a cold coming on or another reason?
Avatar n tn As you are very active, sometimes there can be an issue with dehydration and taking in enough calories to support your activity. Dehydration can sometimes happen because of a few things and if you had a fever when sick, this is fairly common. Here's info on the symptoms of dehydration. https://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/dehydration-adults#1. If you are not eating enough, you will also have some of these symptoms.

11294269 tn?1422402907 First of all, you should figure out why is your head hurting. Is it because of dehydration, sore neck/back muscles, stress, food....? Tylenol is ok but it just gives a temporary relief. Know the cause and you'll get rid of the headache for longer.

Avatar n tn I can do anything once but if I do something as simple as hold a phone up to my ear for longer than five minutes my bicep gets weak and sore. It is a repetitive problem. The problem comes and goes with varying degrees of fatigue, sometimes only the muscles used and sometimes my whole body gets fatigued. What possible problems can cause this?

Avatar f tn RA can definitely affect your eyes in a couple different ways. First, a condition called Sjogren's Syndrome often occurs along with RA. Sjogren's manifests as extremely dry eyes, mouth, sinuses, skin, etc. Muscle soreness/spasms may also be a part of it. http://www.sjogrens.org/home/about-sjogrens-syndrome/symptoms Have you moved to a new region recently?
Avatar f tn Two days of vomiting and violent liquid bowel movements. Slight dehydration, no fever, two days spent close to the toilet. I still feel weak, and have medium shooting pains in my lower right side... Between my ribs and hip, right side above my hip bone and below my ribs. The pain is almost exactly on the side of my body where your right elbow would hang if your arm was at your side. side. The pain comes and goes but is tolerable-ish.
Avatar f tn Low electrolytes, like potassium, because of dehydration, is probably causing the pain and tightness in the calves (based on the limited information you provided) --Hydrate very well with spring water before any activities and one hour away from meals. Do not drink distilled water! --Consume mineral and nutrient dense foods.
