sore jaw on right side

For the past three days I have been getting this pain that starts from my right temple and goes down to the back of my right jaw. Never had this before.

For the past week I have had a very bad headache on my right side. On a daily basis I get pulsing and sharp pain. The top of my head on my right side is really, really sensitive to the touch and it goes all the way down to my face. Around my cheek bone and jaw area. I'm not sure what this is but any help I can get would really be appreciated. Thank you in advance for taking time to respond to my question.

I am a 27 year old female. Smoker (though trying to quit), but normalish health wise. For about 3 months now I have noticed a pain, right in the soft spot at the top of the jaw, directly behind my ear lobe. When it started it was infrequent and lasted only a few minutes and was only mildly annoying. Now it happens every day, pretty much all day, though it is worse at night. It is a pulsing/stabing pain.

the right side of my jaw has been getting progressively worse over the past 3 days, at first it just felt like sore muscle, then it progressed to the point where it hurts to bite down, something like where my jaw was dislocated or something, but i have done nothing to provoke it, i took some ibuprofen and that seemed to help, my teeth feel fine, im 21 and ive never had a cavity, but this may be my first? im not sure what to think of it.

can this cause my jaw muscles on that side to shrink. my jaw is quit sore and i notice that the muscles are smaller on that side.

s the first time I have had an ulcer on the inside of my mouth and have noticed on the same side my jaw under it is sore too touch. Could they be related? Someone I work said possibly and I did a quick google search though I didn't click the links.

It has been 5 days and I notice a hard area on my jaw bone just under where the tooth was removed. My jaw is sore but this area is hard (like bone) and just smaller than a pencil eraser. What do you think this could be? Thanks for your help. I heard crack during extraction but assume it was ligament. It does not hurt when I clamp teeth down but obviously is sore (as would be expected). I have epilepsy and can't drive. My dentist is about 2.5 hours from me and feel ok.

ve been having some pain in my jaw (not affiliated with a tooth) and today I noticed a swollen bump right on the jaw line on the right hand side in between the chin and the back part of the jaw near the ear. The pain has been throbbing and has radiated all along the right side of my face, primarily including the inner right ear, the right temple, and of course the right side of my jaw.

Hi . M 32 yr female. Few weeks back i.e 3 i got sore lyumph node on the left side of my neck , behind the ear and it goes down to the neck . Then i got sore throat on the left side . These symptoms comes and goes. In the morning when i get up sysmptoms n soreness is not there and then comes during the day.... i went to the ENT specialist he said i dont hAve sore throat i have sinus problem . He gave me some antibiotics, nasal spray, sinus medicine .

yesterday my tooth absessed i started keflex but when i woke up this morning my jaw is the size of a golf ball, i now have a sty and the sore on my arm that WAS almost healed drained infection from it and is now draining puss. i have an appointment to get the tooth pulled on march 7. what is wrong with me!

For the last month I have had nonstop numbness on the left side of my head. My left jaw, neck and armpit get very sore and I have tightness or pins and needles in my left arm at different times. There are bones right under my earlobe on each side, right next to my jaw (they feel roundish) that hurt to touch. I sometimes have like a flare up when it will be terribly painful (like a headache but more in my jaw and around ears) and the next day it feels like a giant bruise all around jaw, ears, and to almost corner of my eyes. If you bite down and feel where jaw comes together near ear, it is incredibly sore. And one last thing, it feels like my top vertabre in my neck is really out.

It was only on my right side. It was followed by chest pain, shortness of breathe, jaw pain, and right side heavy feeling in head. My neck felt stiff and then my arm felt weak. It didn't all happen at once. The tingling keeps happening too. It keeps coming and going, my body feels cold too... is it amxiety, stroke, or heart attack?

I have had a sore throat for almost 14 days now, accompanied by infrequent stabbing pain in my jaw. About a year ago, I started hearing a cracking noise in my jaw, and then about 3 months ago...it went away. But my right ear started to hurt. It feels tender and sore and it is only on my right ear. The pain seems to be concentrated around my ear. I am currently in Europe for six months, without health insurance. What should I do? Hello everyone. After some opinions. I have a dentist appointment in 5 days time. I've had suspected Labryinthitus for about 5 weeks, which has given me mild vertigo and Tinnitus. Last week I've had a sick bug and what now feels like a sore throat; all three of my children have had the sick bug and cold/sort throat. I still have the sore throat and generally feeling unwell at the moment...it feels like a cold/flu.

Hi, just last night, I was laying in bed, and rolled to my right side, and as I turned my head over on my pillow, I noticed it was painful. Today. I've noticed it all day, there is a slight lump on the right side under my jaw. It is moveable, and isn't excruciating just yet. When I apply pressure, or face my head downwards, it gets very sore. I am very curious to know if this is heard of commonly or not, and if it is a serious problem. Thank you!

On top of that, I have had four consecutive huge and painful canker sores in the past month and a half, one of which I still have, and one of my lymph glands under my jaw is swollen (incidentally, the right side, and it is my right "flap" which is swollen). So it could possibly be a canker sore on the bottom of this flap, but it just seems like a weird location for one. And the chronic canker sore issue could also be a related problem... Should I see a doctor about this?

About a week and half ago, I got up twice during the night that I know of and when I woke up next morning, we were sitting at the breakfast bar and I was complaining about sore teeth, aching right ear and a sore jaw on the right side when my partner noticed that I had a huge bruising and a lump and a very swollen jaw. I have a white sore in my mouth. Way in the back on the area where the top of my jaw intersects with the bottom of my jaw on the left side. I have had it for literally at least 3 months and it will not heal. It hurts so bad. The sore itself hurts, but it is making my whole jaw ache. Also my left ear is swollen at the opening. It is almost swelled shut. I am not sure if they are related. I do not have insurance so that is why I have not seen a physician. I do not even have a regular doctor.
