sore jaw hit

Got hit in the face on Friday. Felt fine Saturday and Sunday. On Monday felt a little pain and discomfort which gradually increased through Tuesday and still experience pain and discomfort on wednesday. When mouth is closed there is no pain. When moving jaw from side to side, no pain. I experience tthe pain and discomfort when opening my mouth. II also noticed my face get a little puffy on that side on Tuesday. Do think my jaw is broken, dislocated, or just bruised?

My jaw bacame sore in the beginning I thought I was having a bad toothache and had my dr call in an antibiotic but it didn't help. I guess its because our joints are loosening up and that causes the pain. Even in our jaws. Mine didn't last long maybe a week in a half.

m absolutely fine. Infact, pain after I wake up is so bad like my jaw is hit hard and is about to break and fall..!! It hurts bad!! :-( Then 2 days back, I just scratched my ear and discovered sudden, severe, piercing pain inside the ear; just at the end of hearing canal. Infact, if I've felt it correctly; there's small, pimple like swelling too.

Earlier this morning I bumped my forehead on the sharp corner of a cabinet when I bent down to pick something up. I hit my forehead right in the centre and all day it was very sore to the touch and still is. About 10 mins after bumping my head I got a headache which went away after I took a Tylenol. I am a 25 year old female with a history of tmj (but usually only the right side bothers me) and cold sores (always in the right corner of my lips). Two days ago I woke up feeling like someone had smacked me with a phone book on the right side of my face. It felt bruised and tingly...kind of sensitive to the touch, but there was no bruising no swelling so temperature change and it went from above my right eyebrow across to my temple and down under my jaw line. Even my eye hurt a little.

we did discover that my bite is off alignment my bottom jaw has grown to far so I get TMJ from eating my jaw joints are always a little sore , and when i relax the jaw or when the jaw decides to relax my vertigo usually greatly improves , its very easy to miss the jaw pain because of the dizzy pulsating movement u get so it took me a while to realise how sore my jaw joint actually is , one day i went to a chiropractor and he put his hand in my mouth and put pressure on my jaw and I felt the mus

i yawned and felt a pop below my right ear. now my bottom jaw really hurts and it feels like my mouth is tired. it feels like i have been chewing gum all day and i haven't. does amyone know what this might be? and anything to do about it?

I have a white sore in my mouth. Way in the back on the area where the top of my jaw intersects with the bottom of my jaw on the left side. I have had it for literally at least 3 months and it will not heal. It hurts so bad. The sore itself hurts, but it is making my whole jaw ache. Also my left ear is swollen at the opening. It is almost swelled shut. I am not sure if they are related. I do not have insurance so that is why I have not seen a physician. I do not even have a regular doctor.

My cat was hit by a truck 4 hours later he returned. With a bump on his head a little bit of blood on nose,and blood all over his mouth.He got lost that same day (December 22).He returned on christmas eve with no more bump but jaw was broken and he cant close his mouth or eat. I went to get a cavity filled and the froze me the freezing came out and I felt okay I was sore on the same side of the freezing a couple days later my jaw was sore my dentist gave me somthing for the muscle Robax and told me it was because I had my mouth open wide for a long time ..but the other side of my jaw did not hurt ?? Yes the freezing came out and now the numbness is back on the same side as the cavity my chin ,my teeth and lower gum area ..

The socket took a year to heal and stop leaking,I was on penicillin for a week the decay had got into my jaw ,and I lost a little bit of my jaw around the top of my back molar.Last month I had a filling replaced and my dentist injected some pain relief into my jaw it really hurt for days where the needle hit the nerve.I,m not a wimp,and don't take sick days etc.I had medical check up 8 months ago and every thing was good.

So I've had an abundance of symptoms for the past couple of months.

It always starts with a horrible headache then it goes to numbness in my cheek and jaw and ear. The other day I had a new symptom that was a sore throat pain in underneath of jaw and behind my ear. Anyway, someone told me the headache was a side effect of gabbapentin but the headache has always been present even before I started medication. The headache is constant and unrelenting. I have had MRI and cat scan and they were normal. Dr thinks my TN came from mastoiditis that I had.

Alright so I woke up today and found that I have sore spot or soft spot on my head. If you touch it, it hurts. My health history is pretty complicated. I have Psoriasis, TMJ, an out of aligned jaw (I'm getting corrective jaw surgery soon for it), a very minor case of arthritis (it's off and on), and some other more minor issues. I've also had off and on (more on than off) headaches the last couple of months.

Ok. I had two seizures at night while sleeping....no memory of them just a badly bitten tongue during the first ( was awaken by what felt like an ear infection itching in ear and pain above my ear Top left just below temple) and 1 week later...more tongue bites..and a swallon left side of face. Apparently I got up fell hit my jaw "HARD" and layed back down. Its been three weeks now.

so you allow her to sit in pain and go on the internet? this won't help her, she needs a Vet asap...

My daughter is 20 and for a few days has had very sore lower gums, yesterday she woke up to very swollen and painful glands on one side under her chin , she went to the drs who gave her antibiotics said it could be an infection of her gums, today she is so much pain in her neck and jaw, she's away at uni so I am an anxious mother worried could this be more serious?
