sore jaw and throat

I have always been an anxiety ridden person,but here recently I have been clenching my teeth a lot more and I think it is causing the back of my tounge and the front parts of my throat to be sore but not like a sick sore really like a muscle strain sore. I carry a lot of anxiety in my neck and shoulders and I do find myself clenching my jaw quite a bit anymore,but I am now thinking that my tounge and throat muscles are now tensing up.

A few days ago, I realized the inside of my mouth was hurting. At first it felt like an odd pressure, almost like I had cut myself inside my mouth. Feeling around with my tongue, I did find two area that seemed to be very small chunks missing in the gum, but pushing on them or around them did not cause any pain. A few hours after this occurred, it started hurting when I swallowed. The odd thing about it though is that my whole throat didn't hurt (technically it wasn't even my throat).

Sore throat is not a common manifestation of temporomadibular disorders. Limited jaw opening may be caused by mechanical blockage of TMJs or masticatory muscle spasm . Seeing a tmj specialist is advised.

I think it has something to do with the jaw, the muscles in the throat and the nerves in the throat which are being vibrated by the vocal chords. I saw an ENT last fall. He said my vocal chords were just fine. He saw something else a little red but could not see any reason why I couldn't talk. I was a little hoarse at that time but had a lot of pain in my throat. I would like to be able to sing as I go through school (getting my Masters in Music Education).

During the day today, it also began to radiate into my face and jaw. I saw my doctor, today, and he said my ear looks fine, but my throat looked a little red. It dose hurt more when I chew. I could possible have a sore throat and not really notice it (I take high doses of pain medicines for an unrelated medical disorder), but I am not running a fever. Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this, or have any possible insight? The pain is very intense.

After settling for a few months, it came back again and it has been lasting for more than a week. The sore throat is very mild and involves a burning sensation. I also have jaw pain since the time i started worrying about HIV. I have been confirmed by Dr. HHH that I don't have HIV. Since he doesn't speculate the cause, could anyone please help? I never had sore throat that would last for more than 2 days before the exposure. It is so weird....

I have had jaw pain for many days, only on one side, now i have ear and throat pain on the same side, and my jaw hurts so bad, like I had been punched (or so I assume) really har din the jaw. It hurts to eat, and I have pain in my ear and a sore throat.....can anyone give me advise? Bad sinuses? Time to go the Dr?

CALM DOWN AT FIRST .SORE THROAT IS TREATABLE AND CURABLE . DO GARRGLES OF BETADINE. ASK YOUR DOCTOR FOR ANTIBIOTICS AND MILD PAINKILLER. HOPE YOU WILL BE FINE IN COUPLE OF DAYS.

I have sore throat and right swollen under jaw near tonsils since 18 days. No pain. And uncomfortable Doc gave me azitromicin 250. History I have tonsils issue Why it’s taking time for cure ?

I have severe throat pain on left side mainly underneath jaw and at bottom of throat. Seems to be set off by acidic foods, or swallowing bulky rough items. I have never had a sore throat like this before -- I have no other symptoms no cold, no runny nose, no cough etc. It has not gotten any better after a kind of 2 day onset 6 days ago. Yawning really hurts severely.

Occasionally I try to clear my ears by manipulating my jaw. This works partially, but very often seem to get a sore throat. Anyone else with this problem ?

You also need to have your urine checked for a UTI. It is possible that since your throat is sore and you are having so much difficulty drinking, you can develop a urine infection. Get checked out ASAP if you have not already. Good luck.

Last week I was ok but developed a sore throat and headaches late last week and by the weekend I had a sore throat, vomited once and developed a sore neck and this lump all in the space of a day. I dunno what it is but if I turn my neck now it's not that painful but before it felt like I had strained a muscle in my neck and the lump itself is quite tender to touch.

even my jaw hurts. I went to the ENT - he wants to see the actual US films . I called the pharmacist and he said prednisone should not be the cause of any pain I am having. Would this nodule cause so mych pain ? adn IF it spread to lymph node could this be my pain too.

Hi guys I'm freaking out. I'm having a bad sore throat for two days now, and it doesn't seem to go away. It's a bit itchy as well. I woke up today, and my upper body was soaked in sweat, my pillows and sheets. Both of the lymph nodes under my jaw feel hard and swollen, but not anywhere else on my body. Hi mila21, Oh boy, you're in that "fun" waiting stage between biopsy and results. It's like torture, isn't it? I hope you get good news next week. I can't imagine that a needle biopsy could cause a sore throat and earache, but I'm not a doctor. If it does have to do with the lump itself, maybe it's pressing on something that is causing the pain. You should call your doctor's office and talk to the nurse.

Recently I found a small soft lump in my throat under my chin at my jaw line. I have had a sore throat and then I notice the lump. My sore throat went away but the lump is still there. Sometimes I have pain in my throat near the lump but it only lasts a second and then goes away. It's on the right side of my face, nothing on the left. I get similar, I have had a dry cough for months now , my eyes are sore and itchy, scratchy throat, ear pain in and behind the ear and other aches and pains , fatigue.I have now come to the conclusion doing some research its allergies caused by environmental factors .They are doing a lot and by a lot I mean every day aerial spraying you can see the trails up there, if you do some research you will see what it is they are spraying .
