I have been having sore breasts, nausea, and dizziness for about three weeks now. Here's some back story: I have been on generic Yasmin birth control for 6 years. At the end of September I was switched from Syeda to Ocella. I was about two weeks late picking up my prescription. On October 5th I was sexually active and it was during the first week of my pill pack. I ended up starting my withdraw bleed during the third week of my active pills. It was light and spotty, only when I wiped.

For the past week, I my breasts have been SOOO sore! And my nipples are killing me! I was bra shopping yesterday and by the time I took the fifth one off my breasts were in so much pain it was really weird (not to mention that I was overflowing a little from my usual size now...). I know there are multiple causes for this, but I am just a little concerned. I take yasmine consistantly, and don't usually get pms like symptoms.

If both these possibilities are ruled out then other possibilities causing similar symptioms like fibrocystic breast disease,ductal ectasia,mastitis(inflammation of breasts),galactoceles,benign and malignant pathologies of breasts,referred pain from liver or musculoskeletal system,arthritis of the ribs,costsochondritis and inflammation or sprain of pectoralis muscle have to be ruled out. ok i need some help here...i was on yaz for about 10 months when my periods started going hay-wire...like i would get a period in the middle of my cycle and not get my period while taking the"reminder pills"...my dr. gave me yasmin since i guess the level of estrogen is a little stronger...i have been taking it for over a week...i feel pregnant. my body feels just like it did when i was pregnant and i don't remember feeling this way at all when i started the yaz almost a year ago.

Well Ocella is the generic for Yasmin. I was taking Yasmin for 2 years, when last month I was given Ocella. Well I wasn;t too thrilled with it, as I had cramps for 5 days plus I started my period 1 day late. They say generic is always the same, but for me I felt a difference. It could be from the pill. Your body needs to adjust being on it. Side affects should lessen by the third month.

I take Yasmin continuously for endometriosis, meaning I only take the "off pills" once every 4 - 6 months. My last period was in June. Recently, my husband and I decided we wanted to start a family. So, I have been reading up a lot for when we are ready TTC. On Saturday, I noticed an increase in CM and wondered if that could mean I was ovulating. Admittedly, I wasn't exactly sure how BC pills prevented pregnancy at this time.

I had smaller problems with my left ovary, so after the lap and in the next 5 years I was on YASMIN pills for stopping the endo from growing. After these 5 years I had a punctuation done, because one of the cysts became bigger and after that I was on ZOLADEX shots for six months (in a condition of menopause - awful side effects!!!). After that I started with Yasmin again and stopped after one years in order to TTC.

Anyone else have sore breasts & sometimes dull ache from breast to armpit; very uncomfortable at times. What have you done to help?

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and my breasts are feeling weird these days. not only sore, but my nipples also hurt.

So, obviously, we have been bottle feeding. Now that my milk has come in my breasts are really sore and heavy.. Does anyone have any suggestions to help ease the pain? Thank you.

Hi this is a bit embarrassing but my breasts have been super sore and sensitive and I don't know why, I'm fifteen and I'm about two weeks away from my next period which is usually a 29 -30 day cycle so it can't be that, does anyone else maybe know what the cause could be?

Hi! I just had a BFP using a HPT yesterday too and I have had two previous miscarriages so I am so nervous too! I had really sore breasts all last week and the aren't as sore anymore. Does anyone know if the breasts will be more sore some days. I am scared that the HCG levels are leaving. I don't want to be scared and I am trying to have faith that this is our time!!!

This isn't really cancer. I had sore breasts for 3 weeks. I thought caffine so I completely removed it from my diet. Still hurts, thought maybe my period, but for 3 weeks I don't think it would last that long (I had a hysterectomy years ago, so I never really know when it is coming). I just need to know why they would hurt so much and so badly, it is almost constant and sometimes it is so intense it brings tears to my eyes.

I ask my doc about it because i figured with my youngest being only 5mths old that they would definatly be sore but he informed me that sore breast was just a common symptom that most pregnant women feel in the begining but it was normal if my breast wasn't sore. he also told me that in some women their breast don't actually get sore until there milk comes in.

Sore breasts is also a common side effect of birth control. It can also simply be caused by your cycle in general due to hormonal changes throughout. I wouldn't worry about pregnancy unless you miss a period.

Can anyone tell me how sore do your breasts have to be as a sign of pregnancy. I am due my period on the 7th of July and hoping it doesn't come. I usually have cramp 1 or 2 days before my period with slight breast pain which i can cope with.
