The remaining third was largely new power plants fueled by natural gas, which has become cheap and plentiful as a result of hydraulic fracturing. It was the second straight year U.S. investment in renewable energy projects has outpaced that of fossil fuels.

Avatar f tn I know exactly what you're saying, and obviously the cost/benefit analysis is different for everyone. Of course, if you're hospitalized without coverage or need diagnostic tests, unless you have lots of spare cash... well, you know what I mean.
Avatar m tn s obviously a personal choice, but my own cost/benefit analysis of the situation would be that a person suspicious of Lyme disease may be better off pursuing an antibiotic trial through an ILADS physician as opposed to more testing. The idea that one needs to surrender ever having firm evidence of chronic infection isn't easy, but it becomes amazingly easier once (if) one starts to respond to treatment.

But that doesn't mean you should never use it, it just means it should be used in moderation, only when needed. Other painkillers are also toxic, particularly liver toxic, and can also cause internal bleeding. Ulcers, while associated with h-pylori, have a cause and effect problem.

Avatar f tn An article published in 2006 stated that “The two newest sedative hypnotic medications, eszopiclone and ramelteon do not appear to offer additional benefit and are high cost alternatives to the older agents. Further studies with active comparators are necessary prior to identifying their ideal place in therapy”. I've known many people on disability who were in just as good shape as I was and could easily have worked for a living, except, like some on welfare, they learned to work the system.
