I read in a book called food for cures that you are suppose to put golden raisins in a dish and cover with gin, let set until all the gin is disolved into the raisins and then you are suppose to eat 9 a day for athritis pain, I havent tried it yet but found it very interesting.

Hello, 2 days ago I drank 3 glasses of gin with sprite. I didn't got drunk..just dizzy From yesterday until now, I'm having a few stomach issues like: Burning sensation Feeling like throwing up Pain So, you think that this is normal? and if yes how much time it will take for stomach to heal? Can I do something to make it heal faster? thanks!

Hi guys, I'm sat here with a lovely glass off gin reading through your posts and there are so many familiar points I feel like I'm not alone so ..thanks. I was diagnosed a fortnight ago after a positive l.p and two progressive Scans..I was slightly relieved as I have had a 7year battle with my G.P over a mountain of symptoms and this resulted in my being referred to the mental heath team, and labelled a hypochondriac...I thought I was losing it for years!! B.t.

I am not much of a drinker and have never tried Gin and can only imagine what heck I would be saying if I tried it ;o) as far as the chocolate..you name it..cupcakes, cookies..If it has chooclate in it..I eat it. your symptoms sound like a) anxiety and b) an initial irritation of the throat and/or stomach due to alcohol. I recently had similar stomach symptoms, and it was after a night of heavy drinking (it was also gin). It takes a couple of weeks for your stomach lining to recover from the damage you can do in one night.Ive also seen several people have panic attacks out of nowhere after drinking heavily, you drank HALF A BOTTLE OF GIN. That is a ton.

I had interactions with many hard liquors such as whiskey and vodka, but experienced no problems. I had never had gin though, and after the first drink I began experiencing acid reflux-esque symptoms. My lower throat became irritated and I started coughing. I began burping a lot, having trouble swallowing, experiencing minor shortness of breath, and getting worse morning breath. This all happened suddenly, I could probably count the seconds after drinking the gin.

Sorry you are experiencing these symptoms... Unfortunately, you really have to stop drinking alcohol.... plain & simple ( BUT IT F**&^% *****). My friend hasn't really experienced the horror of Crohn's and ulcers and he has a mild case of Crohn's and STILL drinks his gin, beer, jager and eats whatever he feels like. He has it mild & will feel SOOO much better if he quits. You will too I bet, plus you dont even get a buzz on... what fun is that. I'm the same.

I sneeze out loud over and over after inhaling food aroma, pefumes, dust and during cold whether and i will be breathing heavily. Sometimes my face will be swollen n i will have pains at my back with blocked nostrils. However, i don't cough often but i sneeze alot with a fast and heavy breath. There was a time i was treated with ventolin, aminophinine and hydrocot and i was relieved. But after some period, i developed d symptoms again. Does it mean am asthmatic?

taper off methadone is a funny drug the lower the dose the harder it is to taper so as you get lower you must go even slower let your body be the final judge if your really dope sick your going to fast but your going to feel something and its not going to be pleasant just pace yourself and remember this is a race one by the tortus not the hare....as for the gin you my need to go to rehab to get off that you actually can die detoxing off booze...nothing to mess with good luck and God bless....

I have been taking Lithium for around a year now. Before Lithium I would enjoy a couple of fingers of gin from my freezer with a chilled glass and a lemon wedge. I was not an alcoholic, I never needed or abused the alcohol. Since the lithium I have stoped the gin. All I have now is a glass of wine once a week for religious reasons. It has been nearly a year since I have had any gin and I would like to have some, the same way someone enjoys a good coffee.

But recently, a new problem has started, within a year I have passed out four times, and its always the same sequence. I drink heavily, maybe a few beer and spirits, but not to the extent of getting drunk, i fall asleep only to wake up a few hours later with extreme abdominal pain, severe weakness, can't even get up to get medication or reach the phone to call for help, i lose consciousness if I try to move.

I know that some babies are just naturally pudgy and they should be, but does anyone know if there are certain things linked to overweight babies? Just want to do everything gin my power to give my little girl the healthiest start possible.

t have such problem with white wine, vodka, gin, and tequila. And I would get really sick if I had whiskey or rum (even with the small dose). What's wrong with me? I looked it up and it seems like the only connections between those beverage are oak casks (maybe not for beer though). which I find it really hard to believe since I grew up in Thailand and never once seen an oak cask before in my life.

For the past 3 and a half weeks. I have had pain in my back that getting progressively worse. It's difficult for me to sleep, I cannot lie on my back or left side without bein gin excruiating pain. The pain is also in my chest at times. I can'y walk but a few feet outside before feeling short of breath. I have asthma but I know this is something more. Scared becasue I don't know what's wrong with me. Went to the hospital 3 weeks ago but n they checked my chest not my back.

Thank yall all... I tried the crackers I can't seem to keep solid food down and water comes right back up so I've been deinking juice... and I'm with you I canrt wait for it to pass! I've tried the frequent small meals also...
