I don't believe in superstitions, but my mother in law says that pregnant women should avoid looking at a full moon or being outside during a solar eclipse.. And to wear red and a small metal pin whenever it happens.. Anyone heard of this?

Idk id never heard about it till my mother in law called us. My mom is super Catholic and we dont believe in superstitions. I upset my bf and now im upset. Think ill just wear what they said to make him happy.

Its not superstitions its about playing it safe. Most ppl dont tell everyone till 13wks bcuz u have a way less chance if mc. I dont think I would feel good having to go n tell everyone I told I miscarried.

All have no idea what you women are talking about and excuse me but i didn't make fun of anyone. Superstitions are silly in general. you're gonna tell me you actually do the things i listed there? And if you don't then its kinda silly to reference and "protect" yourself from any other superstitions. Which no one has answered our question of what it is yet.

Silly old superstitions. As long as your Dr hasn't restricted your activities then you are fine. The only precaution I would take is to not make the bucket too full.

Since I was around 12 or 13, I remember having sneezing attacks around August back in India. I used to sneeze and people counted. I guess there's an old superstitious saying that its bad luck if you turn on ur baby swing or mobile before the baby comes. I was moving the swing because the roof was leaking and landlord was coming to fix it and accidently turned it on. My baby's dad started freakin out saying it was bad luck. My grandmother is Korean and chock-full of paranoia, concerns, and superstitions. In June I went to India for 2 weeks there I got this problem. When I breath and yawning it triggers pain in the left side ribs. After I returned to USA my primary care ordered X ray and CMP blood work and EKG, all are came normal. But my problem is becoming worse day by day then I visited primary care again, this time he ordered bone scan of full body. Bone scan report says “mild asymmetric increased uptake in the left posterior hemithorax. Tracer is distribution is otherwise un remarkable”.

Don't be scared! Your baby is just fine. Some people just believe in superstitions like that. If you don't believe in that then do no fret.

My little sisters are so loveable towards me and my lil brother annoys me lol and so does my fathers baby omg he gets me all mad but i do throw up alot , u have alot of nausea and threw up McDonald's a while ago.
