sneeze

7595610 tn?1397471372 Any time I walk into a bright light or sunlight, I will sneeze, often more than once. If I feel a sneeze coming on, I can look into a light bulb and sneeze almost 100% of the time. It's kind of nice, I never have sneezes that "die" leaving me hanging.
Avatar n tn I have had allergies and asthma all my life. When I have a sneezing/hay fever reaction, it's accompanied by the usual itching of palate and eyes, and my medications take care of it. But once or twice a month, I sneeze uncontrollably, hundreds of times, all day long, and nothing, not Allegra-D, not Claritin, not Benadryl, will stop it. And the weird thing is, this sneezing is NOT accompanied by the usual itching. When I have a "sneezing day," I am nonfunctional.
10947 tn?1281407852 My worst allergy is June grass pollen. I also suffer from hay fever. My symptoms are itchy watery eyes and sneezing.
Avatar n tn They say that I am interrupting the sneeze reflex therefore stopping the sneeze from completing itself. I never even thought about sneezing my entire life until the first time this happened. I would like any information anyone has. I am worried that there could be a medical problem causing this although none of the very limited research I have found indicates that. I would like to know if anyone else suffers from this problem. Is it psychological as I am told?
Avatar n tn I workout 6 times a week, and have no diseases (including STD's). I am EXTREMELY sensitive to sunlight. Exposure leaves red bumps on my back. However, the main problem is that I get an INCREDIBLY INDESCRIBABLE burning painful itching sensation that runs throughout my body. It is a paralyzing sensation that comes anytime that I become warm or hot - whether its from sneezing or standing by the stove.
1765695 tn?1313673183 Rhinovirus: This is the most common virus, although others also cause colds. Cold weather: Chilled nasal passages cannot fight viruses. Contact with infected people: Rhinovirus easily spreads from person to person. Sunlight exposure and common cold risk Colds are more common in winter. Ultraviolet-B (UVB) levels are lowest. Temperatures are also low. These same factors also contribute to influenza.
Avatar m tn When I woke up the next morning, the number of floaters in my eyes increased manifold. Earlier they were only visible in sunlight, now they are often visible indoors, are bigger in size and much more in number. (Especially high for my age of just 23) A few points to note: I am a myope with negative 2.75R and 1.75L respectively. 1. The vomiting was induced by too much alcohol. 2. I was on an antibiotic medication at the time (had a tablet 4-5 hours before the episode) 3.
Avatar m tn Progressively worse (since 1997) allergies (dust, general outdoors) manifesting in sinus headaches, sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes. Started to take Claritin 2 months ago after stopping for 6 months (tried a honey remedy - didn't work). Not saying any of the above are related; just throwing the main ones out there. I haven't taken any medications consistently over the last 15 years except Ibuprofen.
Avatar n tn I just red that sometimes bright lights and sunlight can make a baby sneeze. It's called Autosomal Dominant Compelling Helio-Ophthalmic Outburst or ACHOO Syndrome. It's not a joke. You mihgt want to look into it. You might also try a humidifier.
Avatar f tn She has always had very sensitive skin and I do remember when she was a child that I had to switch detergents because it gave her a rash. I used to use Tide but had to switch to Sunlight because of the rash and she never had a problem after that except when she took a bath with Body Shop Raspberry Bubble bath. That make her skin peel. We kind of forgot about those experiences until this came along because that was when she was a little child and now she is a 26.
1360668 tn?1277581144 I do not have a filter or a UVA or UVB light, but I do put them by the window for sunlight and I changed their location to a bigger tank. I have 7 different types of turtle food, and I even fed it raw meat but it wont seem to eat. The other baby turtle is eating everyday, twice a day and its shell has grown and hardened, unlike the other baby turtle. What can I do before it's too late? Thank you.
Avatar m tn im 16 years old and in high school its real hard for me to notice everybody start coughing and sneezing everyday at school.
Avatar n tn Limit stress through regular exercise and relaxation techniques, Avoid bright or flashing lights and wearing sunglasses if sunlight is a trigger, Identify and avoid foods that trigger headaches by keeping a headache and food diary and Limit caffeine consumption to less than two caffeine-containing beverages a day. You can also try over the counter pain killers like aspirin or acetaminophen.
Avatar m tn However, I have noticed that sunlight seems to trigger it as well as (believe or not) sneezing. The flashing lasts for days at a time and I am starting to steer away from the idea that it is stress induced. Is there any way to rule out any of the above explanations as to what is happening? If I could just understand more about what's happening than I could decide on a course of action. Anything you could recommend would be helpful.
Avatar n tn Whilst on a recent sunny holiday in Spain I was a total fool and let all the heat and numerious drinkies go to my head and basically ended up having un protected vaginal sex with a Spanish lady although I did not ejaculate. The next morning I awoke with a fit of sneezing (could be the rooms dodgy air con) , and what appeared to be small insect bites on the side of my face and when passing water a feeling that I hadnt totally finished.
Avatar f tn short breath, coughing a lot, pain in my chest. My little dog has also been sneezing a lot and it seems that sometimes she has difficulties to bark. My questions are: can our symptoms be due to asbestos exposure? Realistically speaking, is it possible that we were exposed to high concentrations of asbestos because we live above te lobby and because we walked there in and out every day to pick up mail? If we were exposed, what can I do to improve our health?
Avatar m tn Rarely I'll have a little trouble breathing from the muscles in the front of my neck and chest muscles tightening, especially after sneezing. But that's partial to blame from my asthma. Some times I'll randomly lose my balance or drop what's in my hand, even when standing still. I give my girlfriend a back rub twice a week, and used to be to give me one for 15 minutes no problem, but now after a few minutes, I have to use my other arm to support it up.
Avatar f tn I hope that when those are gone my withdrawl will be gone. I HOPE!!!!! Is sneezing a part of withdrawl??? Sounds funny but I dont remember sneezing so much. Or is it just the weather? any idea?
Avatar n tn of the neck if a person is out in the sunlight quite a bit is also prominant. Some people kind of get red all over. Well, That is a start, what do you think; do you match up at all? Many people with low back pain experinece mild arm problems such as lying on the shoulder at night and having the arm "go to sleep" or driving and having tingling into the hands.
Avatar f tn (I literally have sneezing problems all year long.) I don't know what these can be. The area around the pimples are only slightly red. I haven't had a fever and am not prone to cold sores. But this issue has happened twice prior to now, the worst case being three pimples next to my right nostril that burned and flaked. This always happens during the worst of my nasal allergies. And usually after blowing and wiping my nose furiously, and after using saline spray.
Avatar n tn If your disturbances only happen when you move your eyes, then it sounds like you are seeing vitreous opacities (floaters) Do you notice them more when you are looking towards a bright light, for instance at night when watching tv, or when you are inside looking outside at bright sunlight, or when looking directly at a flourescent or other bright light?
Avatar f tn I have also developed more symptoms, I have a hard time being in the sunlight, it irritates my eyes, I also feel like my vision is a little out of focus. I have also been noticing alot of reflux, which I have vomitted from, have been more gassy then normal. I find myself waking at night feeling a little frightened (hearts beating a bit faster, a little short of breath). My anxiety at the moment is also so bad because of this, I have had a lot of panic attacks recently.
Avatar n tn Within a few minutes of entering a room, people begin coughing and/or sneezing.(By the way, it's always 2 coughs in a row.) I am not sick at all but everyone around me becomes sick upon meeting me. Doctors have told me that it's just allergy season, but this has been going on for a couple years! Besides the endless coughing and sneezing, other symptoms that people develop include: itching around the eyes and nose, acne (on face and neck), sores on the outer lips, and fatigue.
Avatar m tn Going out into the sunlight and tanning for a half hour or so now triggers a lupus-like reaction, including red cheekbone patches, feverishness, spinal and hip pains, stomach distress, and general malaise. I just found an article on Lupus describing this 'sunlight reaction' syndrome to the letter. It detailed every symptom of my latest flareup last week, after sitting out in the sun during the warm front that we recently had. My body used to love the sun...now it puts me out of commission.
Avatar n tn I also had symptoms of a slight cold. Sneezing, slight fever, coughing and so on. My wife and daughter were also experiencing the same symptoms, less the pain under the arm. I went with my wife and got checked, he said I had a cold, checked my lymph's and found NOTHING wrong. I went on vacation and swam in the ocean and pool every day and the pains subsided. When I returned home the pain returned with a new symptom. I had a burning sensation that ran from my left underarm to my left nipple.
1464587 tn?1307495205 My first symptom was a tightness completly surrounding my throat, somewhat like the feeling you get when you hold in tears and need to cry, it felt like the muscles were swollen or inflammed pushing my throat walls together til they would touch, and still is to this day one month later like I have two chins it is so swollen, they tested me for strep and thyroid and both were fine, my throat doesnt hurt its everything around it, then after about a week my symptoms increased to flushed, extreme
Avatar n tn I get a cold every 6 to 8 days, starts off with a bout of sneezing or a runny nose (like a tap that suddenly turns on), stuffed head and nose, feel better after 6 to 7 days, have one good day and bang..... starts again. This has been going on for the 3rd year now, summer I only get a couple but Sept to May it is * every * week. No help from doctors on this, just keep taking the meds... which is no help really.
Avatar m tn I also have walked around with beet red eyes sneezing all day every day....and all of that for way too long so I guess it's about time I get to the bottom of that. Thanks for listening to all my griping...
