22yo male with history of eczema since infancy (also asthma/allergies). Historically treated with hydroxyzine and topical steroid cream. One year ago, skin condition worsened. Experienced "sunburn" like appearance to face with severe itching to scalp and face. the usual bleeding and large, painful lymph nodes to scalp and neck. Treated with several rounds of oral steroids and antibiotics. No relief presently with maximum dose of hydroxyzine.
Vomiting in infancy or children is generally common.If your 3 year old have been vomiting frequently in a day is a medical concern but if he vomits 5 times in a month does not really indicate a serious medical condition which cannot be managed.
Vomiting in children is dependent upon food intake,food intolerance,types of food that triggers vomiting and nausea,type of vomitus emitted,pattern of vomiting,frequency of episodes aggravating or diminishing.

A hemangioma of infancy is a benign tumor of endothelial cells. They are the most common tumor in infancy and are connected to the circulatory system and filled with blood. In most cases, hemangiomas will disappear over time, leaving minimal or no visible marks. Talk to you doctor about this on your next follow-up for proper evaluation. Medical treatment may be done but in majority of cases, they will resolve on their own.

My daughter has had a cold for two days and after that she started getting blood in her snot while sneezing. Now, she is even getting blood in snot when she is spitting the snot from her nose. Well, maybe I can help. I am 48 years old. Obviously when I was born, ultrasounds were virtually unheard of in obstetrics...or at least around my small town.
I was 12 lbs and 5 oz. when I was born. OB/GYN did not perform a C-Section. As a result, I got hung during delivery. Doctor had to break my arm to deliver me. If they had not, my mom and I would have died. They bandaged/casted the wrong arm. I was sent home a week later without any reduction in my right arm.
I'm a physician, with an 11 month old male infant. In the last 4-6 weeks I have noticed, about once daily, a shrug of his shoulder. It generally happens while he is sitting at his high chair (could be excitement ?) and it is unilateral --always the Left Shoulder. It looks like a 'shrug' but I'm calling it a myoclonic movement.

My almost six-year-old daughter has been chewing almost anything since infancy (we adopted her when she was 7 months). She has always bitten her finger and toe nails (we've never clipped them), and she also chews her hair, clothes, jewelry, toys, stuffed animals, found objects, broken glass, etc. She does not tend to swallow what she chews.

All I can tell you is, I was born w/out a thyroid gland (the only one in all of my family trees) to have this problem.
My children were born healthy and all their organs in place, including working thyroids.

What I find puzzling is that her sleep problems were already there in infancy. She did not sleep excessively at first -- just very erratically, in short pieces of time. Even at 6 months old I could put her on her back and she would suddenly be asleep for 5-15 minutes (in the middle of an activity).

This is kind of strange but every time any form of heat turns on my nose and sinuses go crazy. I get incredible sinus pressure, my eyes water, I start sneezing continuously, and sometimes it is so hard to breath that I can't talk (It just feels like my throat is closing up). It won't take long for this to happen but it is especially fast/bad when I am in a car right next to the vent, which makes things interesting in the wintertime.
Most allergy tests look for the "usual" suspects: ragweed, mold, animal dander, mites, tree pollen, etc. I had a skin test at 11 years old against 35 common allergens and reacted to none of them. So I was told I have no allergies and therefore non-allergenic rhinitis. However, I'm very allergic to fragrance and lavender and have been since I was a baby. I've also since become allergic to jasmine, lilies, lilacs, juniper bushes, ceder, cats, dust, mold, hay, and fresh grass.

Yes my friend sneezing is part of withdrawal and it doesn't help that allergy season is in full swing either but it IS the WD. I would say my sneezing stopped about day 20 or 25. Hang in there, it DOES get better!

I'm 21 years old, male at around 65 kgs. My girlfriend is of the age (more on this later)
I just have a few questions regarding pneumonia, and how easily (or difficult) it is transmitted in healthy young adults.
Context:
My girlfriend's aunt recently got hospitalized due to pneumonia, and my girlfriend has been taking care of her for about 3 days now. Now this may sound stupid and selfish, but my concern is her and me catching pneumonia too.
