Sneezing after wisdom teeth

Common Questions and Answers about Sneezing after wisdom teeth

sneeze

Avatar f tn I visited a dentist who reached the conclusion (after taking an xray) that my wisdom tooth MAY be the reason of all this, because it has an abnormal direction, pushing the other teeth. Another dentist told me that since my wisdom tooth has not surfaced yet (it is only visible on the xray) he thinks it is unlikely that the wisdom tooth is related to the jaw pain. However, my dentist scheduled me a surgery in a week from now, to remove the wisdom tooth and see whether my condition improves.
Avatar f tn Thank you for your comment. I am very confused, because I also have an extra pair or wisdom teeth on the top both sides and it really feels sometimes like it can be associated with the fact that they are trying to come out, but they are soo far back that there is no space for them...I will schedule an appointment with ENT for asap, hopefully will get some answers...
Avatar f tn I was thinking about getting my wisdom teeth pulled should I wait until after the baby is here or now since I'm so early into my pregnancy
4518471 tn?1355798857 So I had my wisdom teeth just over a week and I am still in pain not as much when I first got them taken out and this pass friday I called the nurse and she said to stop taking the strong pain killers "hydro" and have been really like feeling sick but did not have a cold or anything just felt bad.
Avatar m tn After my two top teeth are removed, how long does it take for the bleeding to stop? Is it likely to occur for 1-2 weeks? Will it always be actively bleeding?
Avatar f tn Definitely see about having your wisdom teeth removed by an oral surgeon as opposed to a general dentist. Chances are with a general dentist, the most you would receive as far as sedation would be gas, although some dentists are now using what they call "sedation dentistry" where you take an oral medication about an hour before your appointment to help relax you.

Avatar f tn I had my wisdom teeth pulled over the summer. I was not pregnant but I couldnt imagine not having ibuprofen afterwards. I cant handle vicodin so I lived on ibuprofen. It was very painful for weeks afterwards, the bottoms were impacted. I would try to wait if u can, recovering will be painful when u cant take meds.
Avatar n tn Went to a new dentist, who seemed shocked that I had three wisdom teeth still in my mouth. Said I should get these out to avoid future problems. Is it necessary to take these out NOW? They are not causing any discomfort.
Avatar n tn It is not unusual for you to have this much discomfort after having all your wisdom teeth extracted. You certainly can have the sharp edges reduced by your dentist.
Avatar f tn My husband is 21 and the dentist says he needs his wisdom teeth taken out. They are not impacted but they are growing in crooked and will not grow out all the way and are causing a bacteria build up. If we wait until they all pierce through the skin can he simply get them pulled and not have oral surgery.
4842016 tn?1372039067 So I have some major dental problems including caveties and needing my wisdom teeth removed, I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant. does anyone knew if I can get this all fixed while I'm pregnant.
Avatar n tn I had my wisdom teeth removed about 1 month ago and a few days ago, I awoke with pain in my left jaw joint. Since then, it hurts to open my mouth wide in the jaw joint and down under my jaw as well. I also have felt a little tingle in my face in that area when I open wide and hear a small click in my jaw. Does this sound like TMJ and could it be related to the surgery? Should I contact my oral surgeon or a dentist that specializes in this?
88793 tn?1290227177 here in the U.S. most simple wisdom teeth removals are done with ga and sometimes a little gas just for relaxation not to knock you out. even more complicated procedures like impacted wisdom teeth rarely require a hospital. being completely sedated is more risky than just being numbed up. i only had two wisdom teeth come in (top only) and yes after they were pulled under ga in the regular office i walked a mile home!
Avatar f tn t take any pain meds, and I was up for 3 days in excruciating pain. I had my wisdom teeth out years ago but the pain even while medicated was worse than the root canal. Put it off if you can... I think your dentist is crazy for saying he or she would do it. A wisdom tooth can wait! Don't put yourself through the misery!!
Avatar n tn in addition to the above.... the molars in front of the wisdom teeht are used as "fulcrums" by the surgeon in remvinf wisdom teeth, they are pushed on in order to elevates the wisdom teeth out of their sockets....this is very traumatic and can take a while to heal.
Avatar n tn the symptoms are teeth hurt, vomiting, mucsles hurt in stomach it has been going and going for a week and a half and i know my wisdom teeth should have been taken out about 5 yrs ago. and when i brush my teeth it is a reddish brown color.
