Absolutely! I get mine every year! Make sure you get the injection, though, and not the "FluMist", which is a live attenuated vaccine. Since I'm on Tysabri, the pharmacist at the hospital told me not to get the flu shot until at least a week after my infusion. For those on CRABs (Copaxone.Rebif, Avonex, and Betaseron), or Gilenya, there are no time restrictions.
They gave me the mist instead however. It was not until after I had received the mist, my Husband found that the mist is not to be given to pregnant women. We had this done at a Military Hospital and apparently the nurse did not look at the paper that said I was pregnant, look at me and see I was pregnant or take cue from the alert on the monitor that popped up saying I could not have this done. We had three people speak to us after this incident occurred and one Dr.
The flumist won't be given to pregnant women. The shot won't give you the flu, but it causes an immune reaction which can indeed cause aches and pains. The nausea I'd probably write off as a pregnancy symptom.
I am a 19 yo white female who has been experiancing excrutiating chest and right arm pain after sneezing. The pain starts in my upper chest, very similar to the pain experianced when one has a brochoncial infection and has been coughing for a long time. It racks around my chest cavity and is a very sharp, prolonged pain. The pain also moves down my right arm, stopping usually before it goes into my palm.

ve read on here many times about a LOT of people experiencing the sneezing phenomenon after the hard withdrawals are over. My thought was that maybe it's just one more way for the body to detox and rid itself of the remnants of the drug?...sneezing DOES get some bad stuff out of you....so maybe look at it as a positive thing (although I know it's probably a pain in the butt at the time!) Yes is like a sharp pain, my happens by my hip bone (kinda) on the right... good luck ladys, now we know that is part of the 13-14 weeks...

3 weeks later(right in the wheel house) I came down with a cold that came on strong with sneezing, runny nose, eyes watering and a headache. 4 days after is what really scared me when I lost my appetite for 2 days. Didn't want to eat a thing which is really weird because I love to eat!!! I felt it in my body there was something definitely wrong. When I finally did get my appetite back after 2 days I had diarrhea one time in the mourning.
Oh god.... I swear I can't stop sneezing... Everytime I go around food I sneeze... Everytime I lay down I sneeze... My head hurts now because of it all.... It needs to end!
It hurts alot and feels sore after. Ive never had that with my previous pregnancies and was wondering if thats happened to anyone else as well?
SOLVED! After 30 years of violent bouts of sneezing after I eat a meal I have finally solved it. I have asked Doctors over the years. I've been told it was Food Allergies, or that there's something "in the air", etc., etc., etc.! So darned frustrating. It's a body temperature change. After eating a hot meal my body temp goes up and I begin the sneezing. My father had the same problem but died without ever knowing what caused it. I think this is also genetic.
