I did a back flip in the swimming pool and ended up injuring myself in the neck and upper body area. Although my injury seems completely healed, I am unable to sneeze since the incident.
Is it possible I may have damaged some nerves near my neck area?

I am 27 and have this problem too for years but it comes and goes and is really annoying and depressing for me. as I've known, this problem is most of the times psychological, as it's been for me, unless you feel that it happened IMMEDIATELY after a hit to your head. so after a hit or crash, if you sneezed and after a few days or weeks it stopped, it's still psychological and if you don't care or think about it, sneeze can return eventually.
I miss being able to run around and play with my toddler! Between horrible pelvic pain and my lack of balance running is just not something I can do lately.

Again when the pain is at its worst I actually cannot sneeze because at the top of the motion it hurts so much that my body just kind of aborts the sneeze. Deep breaths into the chest only hurt a bit, but still noticeably.

The pain is in one small place, usually with some constant level, plus extra pain as per the above.
As far as the way you smell goes, I think it depends on what you eat. The more sugar or caffeine I consume the worse I effect other people. Like I said earlier, I'm not a doctor, and my kidneys are fine as well. But I have smelled an ammonia like smell coming off of myself and I've seen how others react to it, coughing and itching. I don't know the how's or why's, but this is one symptom of our condition. Of that, I am sure.
