sneeze

Avatar n tn for over three weeks i have been suffering serious pains at my lower back and upper buttocks, when amm lying down, leaning forward, sitting and geting up..even when i sneeze, cough and bend my neck. i saw a doctor all he did was to tell me it was spasm and gave me some drugs but no improvement since then. am really scared.
Avatar n tn Does your pain last more than the time of the sneeze? Do you tend to bend your neck and head forward and down during the sneeze?
Avatar f tn I had to random spasm in my upper stomach there is no pain but a random twitch. I am 9 weeks pregnant. Has anyone experience this?
Avatar n tn I have the same issue. Very bad pain in my chest and arms when I sneeze. No one mentioned it but I would guess everyone on here has very large sneezes. Not those little chirps that you here from some small women. I have had this symptom as long as I remember and I'm 45. I always assumed it was simply the high velocity of my sneezes contracting my large chest and arm muscles very fast. Similar to a muscle cramp.
Avatar m tn hi, im 22 I have just got over a cold and now when ever i cough or sneeze my lower back hurts really bad. The pain is in the lower part of my spine and if im walking i have to stop and hold onto something to keep from falling due to how painful it is. I was wondering what could cause this and if i should go see a doctor about it. I also have a weird noise sometimes in my breathing.
Avatar m tn Hi. Disclaimer: I will go to a doctor if pain continues, just asking to get out of internet self-diagnosis wormhole, cause I cannot find matching symptoms. I tore or sprained something in my back rock climbing; it's on the left side, upper/mid back, kind of between spine and scapula. Now there are only a few muscles there, unfortunately going by the online symptom lists, none seem to match.
Avatar n tn As is common, I also avoid any high-impact activities. For the last several months, however, I have experienced daily pain mainly in the upper front thigh area. It is not the groin pain I had prior to learning I would need surgery. Also, the pain is not constant - it only arrives when I move certain ways or, get this, sneeze. Believe or not, a sneeze produces a ridiculous amount of pain for a couple of seconds.
Avatar f tn I have had pain in my right upper quadrant behind my ribs (sharp) for almost a week---worse with activity, deep breaths, if I sneeze. A day ago I started having bad joint pain, so bad I don't want to nor think I can workout (normally do 4-7 times per week). My appetite has been normal, no digestive issues other than feeling a little very full after my normal meals, some bloating. I have a fairly strict high protein, mod carbs, low fat diet. No nausea or vomiting, etc.
676032 tn?1315674063 The pain is in my upper back spine area. It gets worse during the day, only in my upper back area. Its not going down my legs or anything, but my arms do get weak and Im finding it hard to sit, stand, drive and the onlt relief i get is if I lie down!! I am on a waiting list for a consultant because the pain has become to much to take, but the heatlh service in Ireland isn't the best and the list is long. My question is could all this be muscular or is there something else going on???
Avatar n tn May be a red herring but in my doctor visits when the doc would push on my chest it would make my upper back hurt for some weird reason but no discomfort or pain to the chest area. The upper chest pain is the pain that seems to be associated with real pain (not nerve related) because sometimes when I have a deep cough or sneeze I feel it. The Doc always tells me lower back problems don’t radiate up only down.
Avatar n tn I did a back flip in the swimming pool and ended up injuring myself in the neck and upper body area. Although my injury seems completely healed, I am unable to sneeze since the incident. Is it possible I may have damaged some nerves near my neck area? I have not sneezed since a month now. I am in good health. But the more I read about this issue online, the more stressed I am getting. I hope this is harmless and its okay if I am unable to sneeze my entire life.
Avatar f tn I have no ides if this is an allergy but here is my question(s). When I sneeze nothing comes out it feels stuck in the center of my head head. My right ear feels full. I had a double ear infection with antibiotic cleared up felt the fullness and a bit dizzy and disoriented again but ears were fine. My neck and shoulder feel somewhat numb hard to explain I can feel them but when I eat or drink I don't feel the senstation there.
Avatar n tn I have read about Fibromyalgia but it doesnt sound exactly like me because I am not often tired and my pain is just in my upper back, nowhere else. The only thing that I have read about that makes sense is "Myofascial Pain Syndrome". I want this constant discomfort to go away or at least get better. I am truly beginning to think that this is going to be a lifetime issue and it is scaring me very much. I will give acupuncture and massage a try but I am just not confident in them.
Avatar f tn Is anyone else having served upper back pain in their second trimester?? it seriously came out of no where and it hurts sooo bad.
Avatar f tn I am having horrible upper back pain between my shoulder blades. It keeps me awake at night. And my stomach aches... I haven't felt much like eating or drinking because of all of the pain :( any suggestions on what I can do or what this is...
Avatar n tn m only 6 weeks I woke up this morning with an awful pain in the left part of my upper back, that kinda sends this fluttery feeling to my ribs. It's fine if I don't move but everytime I get up or turn or lift my arms I'll have a sharp pain that takes my breath away. Should I be worried, an go get it checked or is this pretty common?
7913021 tn?1418048620 Best advice i have for upper gas release would be to rub your armpits. . No joke!
Avatar f tn I have gastritis - would this be causing upper back pain between shoulder blades after I eat. Antacids don't really seem to help much.

Avatar f tn I have been dealing with upper back pain for almost 8 months also numbness and tingling in my right arm and leg. I have been seeing a D.O and we finally got and MRI done and it just showed a small bulging disc in my "t" area. I had been a heavy drinker until 2 years ago. I have been taking 10 mg of valium for over 2 years and then the doctor had me on hydrocodone 500/5 1-2 a day for about 6 months. I have no other symptoms but the pain is horrible. My D.O.
Avatar f tn I have been dealing with mid to upper back pain for over 8 months. I have been seeing a D.O and after months of maniuplation with really no relief we finally we able to get an mri. The MRI didn't really show anything significant except a slight bluging disc in I think my T-4. I was on pain meds hydrocodone 500/5 1 a day and valium 10mg-30mgs. I am not taking the hydro anymore and am tapering off of the valium, now at 10mg, My question is why am I in pain? The pain migrates some.
248167 tn?1220363690 Strained muscles and sprained ligaments are among the most common causes of left upper back pain. This usually occurs when excessive pressure, often from exercising too much, causes the tissue to stretch too much or excessively, causing them to become damaged or torn. Pulled muscular tissue and pinched nerves are other possibilities. Take some over the counter anti-inflammatory painkiller like ibuprofen. Hot compressions, and topical muscle relaxants are also helpful.
Avatar f tn For years now whenever I stand for more than a couple of hours my upper back is in agony. If I stay standing the pain gets so bad that I get a cold, numb feeling in my upper back. Could this just be my posture as I do tend to hunch my back a lot or are there other things this could be? I am 21 years old if that helps? Thank you.
Avatar f tn Low back pain (sciatica) neck pain, and probably the best was My upper back pain because of my ribs. And they are used to treating pregnant women. It's safe and they use a pregnancy pillow to do adjustments if your belly is too big.
