Avatar f tn Thanks for your feedback KTowne . Yes I feel like waiting out. How long is too long though. I'm just scared for infections and is it true that the sac can still keep on growing ?
Avatar f tn Yes post shots or quotes from doc, please. I like the OP hypothesis, a lot. Inducing coughing over phone lines is real. Making other itch through closed glass is real. These should be very big clues, since we can exclude the vast majority of pathogen candidates (that can't travel through phone lines and glass).
Avatar f tn When I move farther away from them the crying immediately stops (but I am still within hearing distance and can hear that they've stopped crying). Some people I work with cough and or sneeze when I am close by them and others do not. Sometimes I sneeze, my eyes feel irritated, I cough and my throat feels irritated. Most times I have this weird feeling around my nose like dust or hairs accumlate under my nose and I have to rub my nose often to get this weird feeling to go away.
Avatar n tn Please read this and answer the poll. Like many people on this board - I've been doing my own research to self diagnose rather than biting the bullet and going to the GP. A case of trying to put off the inevitable whilst hoping the situation rectifies itself. In the meantime, every little bump or lump or cough makes you search for that particular symptom, for weeks, months on end giving you intense anxiety!
Avatar f tn my mom does the same thing and it is so incredibly annoying. only things she drinks or anything else that is like liquid.
Avatar n tn The nicks and scratches I get from work take longer to stop bleeding so I know my platelets are low. Also getting those kinda red areas around any scrapes and cuts like they are borderline infected, so I assume my WBC will be low also. Since I get a little more out of breath with certain actions I assume my RBC is low also. Will get my first bloodwork this Friday so will be interesting to see what's going on labwise.
Avatar m tn Hi guys -- hope your autumn/fall is going well, and you're ready for the holidays! Some time ago I wrote a post called "The PATM Cure is Here." In the post, I wrote about how I had been suffering from PATM for a few years, but at a certain point I stopped seeing reactions when I tried two main things: saccharomyces boulardii (which helps fight candida) and brown rice protein powder (which heals leaky gut).
Avatar f tn just enjoy making it! I like quotes that help me say things I think but can't find the words for. Here are a few of my favorite music quotes: “Music is what feelings sound like.” “Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music.” (Angela Monet) "“Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and cannot remain silent." (Victor Hugo) Maybe some people don't enjoy your music, Bran_Bran...but maybe they just don't hear it as you do!

Avatar n tn He has been hospitalized for the last month due to ammonia and fluid build up in his system which caused him to be in a unconscious-like state. It took him several days to come around from this state but he is now conscious although it seems to have affected his memory and he is very weak. He is currently on Lactulose 5 times a day and he does have some kidney problems although I don't know how severe.
Avatar n tn Looked in my ear and up my nose. He said I should get a MRI but he made it seem like if it was expensive due to my insurance that it wasn't necessary. But he never really said what happened, although he did say there were some fluid behind my ear drum. Can this combined with my past loss cause this? He prescribed prednisone and amoxiclav. Although I am worried bc I thought I should have gotten some anti-viral medication. Should I be okay with the combo I have now?
Avatar n tn That means that it acts like an opiate in low doses but acts like a opiate blocker in higher doses. It is this property that makes it a great medication for the pain patient with a secondary addiction problem. If abused by increasing the dose it tends to make you feel sick. If one tries to take another opiate such as oxycontin or even ultram it tend to make you feel very sick. This is why it is said to have a low abuse potential. Abusing it is just not fun.
Avatar m tn // Girl said that she had bad odor and people cough and sneeze around her. Her doctors said that she had giardiasis, erosive bulb. Man said that people cough and sneeze around him and these reactions increase if he sweats. Several person descibed PATM symptoms (people cough and sneeze) and said they had bad smell.
380530 tn?1239166138 I'm having a Valentine's Day party in my classroom today and not one, NOT ONE single parent answered my request to volunteer. So, looks like it'll be a one woman show. Oh well, seems I'm getting use to that theses days. I want to leave you with a quote for this Valentine's Day. I'm going to take the day off from thinking about ttc and celebrate my life (and body) just the way it is in this moment. Because this moment is really ALL we've got!

429155 tn?1205676864 Well after the operation I thought I'd better cut down as constipation was real bad issue, up to 45mins to pass what seemed like an Elephant, I even ruptured a nose blood vessel with the straining at one time, and as a friend who had had the same operation was off painkillers after 3 weeks I thought now's the time. ( 05/12/07 ) So taking the bull by the horns I cut down to 40mg 2x a day, and never expected what happens next.
Avatar n tn Hi, This is my first post. I am an otherwise healthy 32 year old male, but frustrated by this recent baffling problem. For the last 2-3 weeks, I've had mild sinus congestion & pressure, along with strange "flu-like" body aches, weakness & fatigue. I have no fever or night sweats, and nasal mucous is clear. I do get a lot of allergies, but never these "flu-like" symptoms.
485259 tn?1519050626 Don't plan on doing much for at LEAST a week or two. If you are lucky like some, you'll be up and at 'em. But if you're not, then you won't be disappointed and frustrated. 2. Make or buy muffins. Especially bran. You will need them. Don't ask me why. Ok...why? Because your meds will constipate you and make your stomach hurt. AND you will be too tired to make food. You can buy stool softeners too, but they don't make for a tasty breakfast... 3.
Avatar n tn I thought up until now that I may have been the first to discover this but would like to know if anyone else has any real answers to this as being a connection? I would like to know how many people feel that they get atrial fibrillation and feel that it may be related to gas or full, bloated stomach, intestinal or digestive tract troubles etc?
Avatar n tn History of my problem: For as long as I can remember, I have had a problem with my hyoid bone popping out and causing excrutiating pain. It is always the same - the right side of my neck. At about the age of 8 I talked to my pediatrician about it and he promptly told me it was not possible. That I was having anything "pop out" in my neck. He contended that there wasn't anything there that could pop out. So I just continued to push it back into place whenever it popped out.
Avatar n tn Sounds like we have a similar problem. How long did it take for your doctor to recommend an ENT? I'm probably going to try some antibiotics next, but then if they don't work would like to go to an ENT but my GP hasn't even mentioned it yet. I've seen some webpages saying you have to have 4 infections in a year before an ENT will see you, I hope that's not true. I can definitely empathize with how you feel.
Avatar n tn I kept mentioning it to my doctors and they kind of blew me off. They only told me it sounded like a disc problem but didn't say anything more. So I ignored the problem. In the last year I started to also develope pain in my neck, shoulders as well as low back. I have had MRI's done of the Cervical spine(neck region) and Lumbar spine (lower back) I have a lg hernated disc in my neck and degenetive disc disease with an annular tear in my lower back.
1647691 tn?1363727302 I think you have a good doctor, now he knows about your problem so he will do more attention to it for the next try. I hope I will get some kind of answer like you. Good luck your next try.
Avatar n tn Girl don't feel like you going crazy. Do like me, as long as you don't see a period, and the doctors don't diagnose anything else being the problem, just treat yourself as a pregnant woman and time will surely tell. That's what my mom and brother told me and I am trying so hard to chill, but it gets hard sometimes not to wonder, ya know?
Avatar f tn Wow, I feel like Im looking in a mirror. I had upper and lower jaw surgery 3 years ago and my health has never been the same. I was given 4 plates and screws in the mandible and maxilla and got the same story about the bioavailability of titanium, but I question it. I have done some moderate research over the last few months and I found one excellent study about a very small percentage of patients having significant health systems since receiving Ti implants.
