Avatar f tn Thank you for your sympathy and encouragement. I am hanging in there but it ain't easy!
5509293 tn?1428535075 and to be honest, i actually do think everything you describe for your sneeze experiences, sounds exactly like sleep starts to me. From my understanding and experience, the 'key point' is that you are always "asleep" and woken up by the jerking physical reaction.
Avatar f tn And I started clipping a chip clip over my nose before getting up to make sure I didnt breathe anything in, and keeping it on for a little while after I lie back down. As soon as Im back in bed the tickle in my nose starts and I have to sneeze even with the chip clip still on. Then I cant fall back asleep because my nose is stuffed and running.
Avatar n tn I had back surgery in 2005 for leg pain and leg numbness. The surgery took care of that problem. After surgery it felt like my tail bone was broken and after 5 months when I blow my nose, cough or sneeze I have terrible pain going into my buttock and legs. This also happens when I bend over to the floor and especially when I pick up something while bending over. What is the cause of this problem?
2107676 tn?1388977459 Did you walk in your pi's again? Ha! Hope your sleeping now. Remember a hot shower or bath does wonders. Also some soft music. Hey if you want I'll have my husband call and talk to you, his chatter always lulls me to sleep. (kidding).
Avatar f tn Been there with a cold myself and remember dreading the same thing so just try not to think about it as the more you do the more your nose is likely to tickle!!
Avatar dr m tn I've already covered in the past few lessons why it's important not to eat late, and why you must go to bed at a reasonable time to allot for your normal sleep duration. If you go to bed late and wake up later in the morning, you've shifted your sleep clock, which will make you want to go to bed later. Once you're back home, along with the clock shift from changing time zones, you'll be doubly affected: time zone shift and a sleep clock shift.
237249 tn?1211293998 That made me think....I remember my first sneeze after surgery, but it wasn't for a while! The only reason I remember it is because my breathing still wasn't up to snuff, and you know how you take in that quick breath before you let it out? Mine was that raspy "snore" sound, and it startled me!!! Darla ~ I hope that the pain is getting better from that! Sounds VERY painful! I'm sure it was quite the shock to that swollen throat of yours. Oh, and congratulations on 17 years!!
Avatar f tn I’m at the point where I fall asleep when I blink in the mornings because i have such horrid sleep. I also have this weird symptom where I haven’t been able to sneeze for about 6 months ?? What could this mean?
Avatar f tn I'm 30 weeks tomorrow and I will sleep maybe 2-3 hours at a time because my hips start to ache and it makes me wake up. I tend to sleep a little longer if I sleep sitting up (with pillows behind me). Also, I noticed if I get up to do my business and pee, I can lay back down and I'll eventually fall back asleep for maybe another hour or two. But hey its something.
Avatar m tn You csn Google these terms. If you have chest pain when you sneeze or move your arms or do anything with your shoulders, etc, the pain is NOT coming from your heart. It is coming from the muscles, tendons or other structures outside the chest cavity.
Avatar f tn -) I mean that in a funny way, when I've had that many things going on at once my wife would kid around with me like that. Anyways, it might be best in your head to divide and conquer. Perhaps the increase in PVCs is related to the CPAP issues or maybe not. It's so hard to tell. So let's focus on the PVCs. What part of your heart are the PVCs originating from? How many per day? Have you had an echo to assess the structure of your heart? Have you had tests to check for ischemia?
Avatar n tn During that 30 minutes, if I have to cough or sneeze, it hurts really bad in my lower abdominal, lower back and hip area. The pain is getting worse as the days go on. Please help.
1235345 tn?1268245933 They are always in the same place imagine drawing a line from the very top of your ear about 5 cm back towards the back of your head in a perfect diagonal, and this is ALWAYS where my pain is. I can honestly say they dont floor me like many chiarians, but nothing takes pain away, they are about a 3 on a pain scale from 1-10. I do get the intense pain when coughing or vommitting, but its very brief, 2-3 seconds then gone.
208686 tn?1293034103 The drops are the best way to get it out. Ideally, he will sneeze when you ut them in, which will save the need to use the bulb syringe. Either way, it should help him feel better soon enough. Lots of fluids, lots of snuggle time, and lots of rest.
Avatar m tn Today I joined this web site to try to get some help for this pain i'm having in my chest area. It isn't like anything I've felt before it is kind of scary. Do I have something serious or could it be from menopause? I couldn't sleep last night for more than a few short naps. I cn't thonk of anything I did to cause it but it feels like someone hit me. The pain is right in the middle of my breastbone and it sure hurts, especially when I bend down or burp or sneeze. What could it be?
Avatar f tn They understand every phase of the physical and mental trials, including the depression. Stay in close touch with your doctor as he may be able to adjust your current meds to match you current situation. Most important, keep reaching for help, where ever this may be, to stay off these addictive demons. Trust in God and other folks who have gone through this. None of what you are feeling is permanent. It will pass. You are stronger than a lot by reaching out at 10 days.
9442948 tn?1406820051 It totally ***** I remember going for my ultrasounds and I was sitting there with my legs crossed cuz it hurt so bad lol but my ultrasound girlsaid that if it gets to the point wwhere it hurts to hold in your pee to just pee a little (as hard as that I'd) but it really does releve some of the pressure
1911870 tn?1345422609 When you are afraid to sneeze in public because you dont want to accidentally pee yourself .. o_O When your husband asks you why your mad at him and you tell him because he spoke.
1901568 tn?1339095541 Just a little bit of redneck humor. You know your pregnant when. . . You don't care to suck in your gut anymore and in fact you start pushing it out. Any one else have one?
171768 tn?1324233699 I have been sleeping on the couch EVERY night because the baby wakes up and the only place I can lay him that he goes back to sleep is the play pen!! We close on our 1st house in 2 days and he will finally have his own room so im investing in moniters. I just wish it were August already and I were already moved and settled. 25.5 weeks today and this little lady is doing a number on me. My boys never caused this many problems WTH!! Well thats my vent for today:=) Hope everyone is feeling good!
151668 tn?1239924705 The sooner the better, but you should try not to sleep on your back after 5 mos. The weight of your belly can diminish your blood flow. Try putting a small pillow under the side of your belly, and if you need it another one behind your back so you don't roll totally onto your back. As long as you're sort of on your side, and not fully on your back, you're ok. Chocolate: Let me be honest, this was what caught my attention in your post title.
8377023 tn?1399512760 I know going to the er would just be a waste of money cause they cant do anything for me but I seriously cant get sleep because of this. Should I try sleeping in the recliner downstairs?
Avatar f tn Also it is very important that the hospital you deliver in has a dr to do the c section at the hospital 24/7 because if you need an emergency c it will have to be done quick in case of a tear in your uterus. Do your research and do what is right for you. For me the experience of giving birth is the best thing in the world.
145992 tn?1341348674 Maybe you can put him in the living room outside your door at night or you can go sleep on the couch for a night just to get some sleep? As for your fiance's snoring - try the breathe right nose thingys - they work wonders on my husband who snores like a freight train without them at night. As for the dog - benadryl works wonders - hee hee - it's a mg per pound and he will sleep like a baby!!
Avatar n tn Try and tuck your chin twards your chest just a tad to keep your mouth closed while sleeping. Also, sleep on your side, not your back. Asure your mask is on nice and snug. If there are leaks...again, you're losing pressure and making the CPAP ineffective.
Avatar dr m tn Every time you get a cold, notice how it usually starts in the throat with a tickle, a scratch, or a slight cough. It then progresses into chest congestion or travels up into the ears and the sinuses. You’ll have a low grade fever, mild chills, and a runny nose. Even if you start out with a runny nose, eventually, you’ll have throat symptoms later on. Sounds like a classic cold, right?
Avatar n tn I usually eat dinner about 6 and take my pills at 9 with a couple of crackers and they seem to go down with out too much problems. Ever once in awhile though I have bad stomach ache that feels like poison in there.
