Common Questions and Answers about Sneeze guard use

sneeze

Avatar f tn i also sneeze a hundred times in the morning. today it will be day 12 from fetanyl detox. i NEVER sneeze, so it has to be from that.
Avatar m tn Closing in on 30 days clean. I don't want to use again. I seldom think about using except when I slip and wander into wonder. So, I do wonder? Out of the blue, for no reason, I sometimes I slip, fall & subtly hint at myself about wrecking. Then again........I feel so damn goody 2 shoes 30 days clean that I often feel almost invincible. That little shot now & again might just put me over the edge into super duper wonderland as if I'm missing something that I know might indeed kill me?
1796826 tn?1578878379 If you're read my previous posts you know I ingested a MASSIVE amount of HC on a daily basis (400-500 mg, world champ here) and quit cold turkey no taper after 5 years at this level and 10 years of total use. So I suspect a GD trap. I'm doing too good for day 10, right? This is my first attempt to quit, and I can't shake the feeling that failure is not an option, that if I slip I will lose myself for ever. Rationally I know that's not true, and that it puts more pressure on which might be bad.
1058524 tn?1285190840 (my hospital is 2 hours away- so i am having the blood test locally.) plastic on the floor, sneeze and drool proof guard in place between me and my computer screen/hard drive. ordered 72 hospital quality towels for $35.00 and some other things to get us through the first 7 days out of the hospital. I also got some disposable bed sheets and pillow cases. Fluids cause transfer, so i am all about keeping my icky fluids from being places I cannot wash with lots of water.
Avatar f tn With my 1st ds I didn't have any back or sciatic nerve pain, so I was totally caught off guard when I started having *intense* lower back pain with this pregnancy, which started around 23 wks (I'm due March 12th). My ObGyn said that every pg is different, and it's actually very common for 2nd pregnancies to have more incidents of back pain and sciatica, since you usually start showing and gaining weight a little earlier (not to mention that a lot of us-- me included!
Avatar n tn The nose was so sensitive to touch, if my husband leaned close to kiss me and his breath touched my nose it would tickle it and cause a sneeze! Weird! The terrible thing is some times the sneeze itself triggers another you get so stuffed up but drippy too, that you can hardly breathe for fear of more sneezes. You can stand up and start to sneeze! A fan blowing can trigger it, cooler air form an air con, then going into warmer air.
6207615 tn?1380216408 I was running a few miles a day, lifting weights, but not working on recovery and I let my guard down thinking I could use again. Within two weeks I was using heroin daily and soon back to methadone for this long run. My Dad lived in Sandpoint for a couple years. He liked how remote it was but not the tons of snow he got before thanksgiving came, lol. It's sure beautiful there though. Last night i went outside and looked up at the stars.
Avatar n tn I have a lot of health problems that aren't really related to this and it caught me off guard. The CT was just supposed to rule out one more long shot disease, ya know!!! I met with an OB/GYN yesterday and am now scheduled for an ultrasound next Tuesday and surgery in the next 2 weeks. Wow that seems fast - still reeling a little! Dr said the surgery will have to be a laparotomy due to the size of the teratoma and possibly one of my ovaries will have to come out as well.
Avatar m tn Hopefully I can flush those 4 freaking pills when I get back from the meeting. I will sneeze my way over there now. Bundling up because it's freezing here and even in my warm apartment my hands and feet are like ice cubes and my nose is raw from wiping with a tissue :(.
Avatar f tn Hello & Welcome! You are very lucky that you did such a low dose and NOT for a long time. We have plenty of use X Doners on here that were doing that drug for yrs & yrs and at a high dose. Has to be the worst w/d I have ever experienced and I too had the other opiates before they prescribed me this for pain..However, I c/t 3 meds at once back in 2012 and would NEVER want to experience that one again. The worst thing about any opiates is what they do to all the Brain Chems.
Avatar f tn As a pregnant teacher this is just freaking me out. Everytime my students sneeze I GermX the cr@p at out of them!!!! I teach first graders, so I know their hygiene is not top-notch. And it only makes it more frightening being pregnant!!!!!! I hate to be one to freak about something but man this is all happening so fast!!!!
Avatar m tn I know I'm overreacting, but could sure use some kind words to ease my mind. I've been addicted to something for almost 10 years. The latest being Suboxone. I started at about .5mg/day and it escalated to about 4 mg/day. I've been on them for about 6 months. Without tapering I went cold turkey on Monday. (I'm on Day 4) Now I'm reading how much more difficult the withdrawals are without tapering.
Avatar n tn At least when I sneeze and I sneeze a lot, it clears my ear up for a while. Half the deal is done, now for the end of vertigo.
Avatar m tn Ok, well, since you know yourself and know you may fail when your guard is down, why not keep your guard up always? Addiction is a lifelong thing. Whether it be nicotine, drugs, alcohol, whatever. Ones guard should always be up for those triggers. For me, anger is an enormous trigger so since I know that, I just won't ever quit....no, just kidding. That just came right out through my fingers, lol. Try not to project into the future. Just take it one day at a time for right now, ok?
Avatar f tn i think the valium should be taken off the thomas recipe. use valerian root, melatonin, i found a couple otc natural sleep rememdys. alteril and sleep by nature made. they work well they have a combo of valerian root and melatonin with other extracts.
158939 tn?1274918797 Cheryl: I only did all this to punish you for not posting a weekly roundup. Kipland: I'm going to bring the radiation hood home with me this time (I think I've pretty much paid for it) - it looks like a thick "sneeze guard" from the all-you-can-eat buffet line. Hugs to all of you going through this stuff now too.
Avatar m tn You can also get miso or soy bean paste. It is very salty so use it in a salad. Best not to use it in a soup because heat kills bacteria. Parasites thrive in a body that consumes a lot of sugar. So keep fruits to a minium and eat a lot of vegetables. Raw almonds soaked in water for 10 hours are good sources of protein. Never eat raw meats or fish. Stay away from breads, anything with yeast really. I only eat brown rice. No spices. Sucks because I love hot foods.
Avatar f tn Sneeze sneeze sneeze sniffle sneeze. That's where I'm at now. Is it really only 10AM? I shoulda walked longer and harder, I guess, 'cause now I'm climbing the walls going crazy. The hubby is playing a video game - maybe I'll go join him to waste some time. I'm biding my time before I go swim... trying not to fixate on the time. Maybe I should paint the house, but I'm afraid soon I'll be fatigued and lethargic. Oh, the uncertainty.
Avatar f tn Now just be really careful that you truly only take them for necessary pain and that you do not take anymore than you need. You will be fine and can actually use this as an opportunity to see how far you have come in recovery to use the medication properly and supervised. Do not feel guilty or ashamed, I know for me when I do, that is a huge trigger to relapse and I have found that is one way my addiction talks me into using again.
125112 tn?1217277462 Absolutely. The biggest problem in a toxic chemical spill/accident or terrorist chemical incident will be contamination of civilian clothing and the refusal of civilians to relenquish the clothing. Currently there is little legislation or preparation for this contingency. In the event of a terroristnincident involving sarin, for example, the shoes cannot (for practical purposes) be decontaminated and must be relenquished and destroyed. Unfortunately the same goes for pants/socks/jackets/wallet.
Avatar m tn Do not use tap water, unless it has been boiled first. There is a rare microbe that can get in your brain from some water systems. Saline solution is salt water. You can buy a bottle of saline solution in a drugstore, and it works just fine. However, the store-bought saline solution will contain a preservative, to keep things from growing in the water, and some people will find the preservative to be irritating to their mucus membranes.
Avatar m tn you are a prime example of the short period of time it takes to get addicted or dependent on opiates and the fact that opiates cause more pain that they relieve. You are wise to detox from them and use other methods of pain relief. Toradol is a very effective NSAID pain reliever. It needs an Rx from the doctor and they only like to order it short term because of stomach irritation.
Avatar f tn Used to drive my husband crazy when we would be driving and I was shaving my face ......he would freak out and want to pull over.....hahahhaha.......Used to use a Mach lll, regular razor. those are nice and a closer shave.....lol. Electric is more convenient.......

Avatar m tn Hi folks, I've been reading this message board for over a year now. You folks are fantastic!!!! It takes a fellow addict to know exactly what is going on. I've been abusing oxy for 2 1/2 years now. Anywhere from 75 to 150 mg per day. I averaged about 90 mgs but would usually spike to 150 or more on weekends. I certainly don't get "high" anymore. This will be my 3rd attempt at quitting. I made it 8 days once,10 the other. I'm 50 years young and now's the time.
