When I feel a sneeze coming on (which is often with this head cold), I have to basically hold my sides and pull my knees up to my chest. If I don't, I'm in extreme agony and sometimes end up in tears.
It's crazy how I'll sneeze 2-4 times in a row. It's seems to be slowing down a bit as Day 4 approaches (in 30 minutes, I'll start Day 4 - woo hoo!) It's seems like 10 minutes ago that I was working up the nerve to type my first "I'm stopping my pain meds" post.
When i cough or sneeze i get this little pain in the lower abdomen just below my bellybutton. Is this good or bad? Any advice?
Don't think necessarily...I know that it can effect the baby and if u get too sick it will transfer like flu. Remember ur supplying everything to baby. But I'm not a Dr, so I'm for sure but we have to be on our guard about sickness more than the fact there's not much we can take. I know Our immune systems r not as strong.
Its normal for new babies to cough and sneeze due to their systems still adjusting to being outside to uterus.
sneezing does not cause a heart attack. This is a myth. Sorry for your loss, but its ok to sneeze your head off when you have to. Trying to hold a sneeze will force the allergins or staph bacteria from your mouth into your eustation tubes, which goes directly to the middle ear and can cause infection. Holding a sneeze can also cause a nose bleed.
let every sneeze remind u that you are alive and sober. I didn't sneeze for 3 years one time. (methadone) If i had time i'd look "when" the sneezing stops but i'm kinda busy. i will say that you can take anti-histamines or allergy medication that might help. some will make u drowsy, some will make you hyper. all in all they are drugs so be careful.
