We keep a fan running in the hall for white noise to help my toddler sleep. But I dont ever sneeze when I walk past it during the day. And I started clipping a chip clip over my nose before getting up to make sure I didnt breathe anything in, and keeping it on for a little while after I lie back down. As soon as Im back in bed the tickle in my nose starts and I have to sneeze even with the chip clip still on. Then I cant fall back asleep because my nose is stuffed and running.

Wow, I'm reading this and I just finished giving myself a manicure and pedicure (lol)... I have great natural nails! As of nail art, I like the french manicure, regular color polish, but I'm sorry to say, that I not big on art on my nails. I'm all for it, but not on me... maybe.....

I like the sneezing but the peeing and pooping because of force of sneeze gets me. Talk about stares when in public. I've had people in front of me duck.

15th which later diagnosed DCIS. The doctor inserted one clip in the area. On the lumpectomy surgery day, Oct. 24th, I had wire localization which targeted the clip using mammogram. The post surgery biopsy report found 3mm DCIS with all clear margins, and off course wire, but not a clip which should be in that location. Then, I was sent for post lumpectomy mammogram today, Nov. 24th before starting radiation therapy.

If there's ever a need for surgical removal of more tissue, then the surgeon can use the clip as a bull's-eye marker during surgery. The clip will be automatically removed if the surgeon does an open excisional procedure on that area.

I have had breast cancer now for the 2nd time. In the other brest. They did a biopsy & placed a clip. Had surgury & removed the cancer but the mammogram showed the clip still there. Please tell me who manufactures these clips & why it was not removed during surgery.

Had a biopsy today, and they said they would leave a clip in, does that mean that it must be cancer?

They put the clip in me on monday of this week during the biopsy. They said it would mark the spot in case I needed more treatment. Well it turned out cancerous so now before my lumpectomy they are going to go in and take the clip out and put in a wire. I don't get the logic. That's one of my questions I'm asking the surgeon at my appt. today. I'll let you know what he says.

t necessary to confirm the exact location of the clip after firing, only to ensure the clip was fired. Is this true? I have read elsewhere that a mammogram should be taken after insertion to document the exact location in the event of "clip migration.

Oh Dennis, I had to laugh when you brought up the art teacher. When my oldest daughter was in Elementary School her teacher flunked her in art and threatened to turn us in because something was "wierd" with the child......sigh.......her mother WAS an elementary school teacher..........I think I'd know! So I took the drawing of a house to a friend who was a veteran elem teacher of her whole life and asked her for her opinion of the picture.

The surgeon found the surgical clip right under my ovary that had severe endo. Could this open clip, floating around in my body, could have caused scarring, triggering the endometriosis?

I read my discharge papers, and that is how I found out about the missing clip and the hydrosalpinx. I have done research on my own about this, but I am still extremely confused about how this happened, and where the other clip went. I have read some horror stories from some of you on here, and am hoping to get some advice on how to approach my GP. I am conserned that this missing clip could be the cause of some of my pain, but it seems to not worry most doctors out there.
