m really worry about it because I had sex with a guy with out protection and since that day I notice that smelly discharge that is so anoying the discharge is watery and I hate that smell! Please help me!!

And just take the antibiotics and avoid 7 days of sexual contact so april 13 me and my bf took the pill avoided sexual contact for atleast 10 days and now paranoid because i get smelly brown discharge, but i don t know if its causing the infection or the iud. Should i get the iud removed or the antibiotic didnt work? I was inquiring with my local womens clinic but they said they can only see me after 3months for chlamydia and 5 weeks after the iud.

I have the Skyla IUD and the reason I got it was so i didn't have to worry about taking a pill everyday or getting a shot every three months or even having to deal with a period. re wondering about the red smelly discharge you should check with a doctor, anything smelly down there is definitely not normal, and you should see a specialist soon and dont masturbate until then any extra fluids down there can make things worse.

Is discharge normal? It's kinda smelly sometimes but most of the time it's not smelly.

Hey I also just had my IUD removed after a year and a half. At first for the first 6months I enjoyed having my IUD In however, shortly after I started discharging and it was very smelly. Once going to the doctor I was told it could possibly be my IUD WHICH was when I scheduled for the immediate removal. Now seeing all of your post I now know I wasnt alone.

This started 3 months ago, me and my boyfriend got back together after 3 weeks of being separated. We had sex that night, a week after I got my period and after I was off my period I noticed a yellowish smelly discharge on my underwear . If those medications helped, then there would be no need to remove the IUD. I am going to guess that you have a Mirena IUD in place, and if so, the discharge is normal and not worriesome. It is also normal to have minimal or no bleeding/period. If you otherwise like the IUD, it might be possible to continue to use it for several more years. Good luck!

37 weeks and noticed a small odor followed with some discharge. I brought it up to my midwife. She decided to go ahead and take a sample and it came back normal. She said if you are in the last few weeks you may have an increase in discharge. But if you feel concerned ask to check again. I wouldn't worry to much of they checked it out already.
