Common Questions and Answers about Sleep zone mattress

sleep

Avatar f tn We have them side by side, but we each have our own controls. After sleeping on this mattress I can not sleep on a regular pillow top mattress. The Tempur-pedic mattress forms around your body but still firm enough not to cause backaches. All three of our children have replaced their beds for the Tempur-pedic . They are a little costly but so well worth every penny.
Avatar f tn So sorry to hear about your sleep problems. I discovered that I sleep so much better on a plain old blow-up camping bed. The one I use is the store brand sold at Wal-Mart. The single costs about $11.00 and the electric pump cost $25.00. Since I sweat like crazy when I sleep, I had to double up on the quilted mattress covers. I blow it up to a comfortable firmness ( about 7 on an 1-to-10 scale) and I usually sleep comfortably.
Avatar f tn Heat makes it more uncomfy esp if you sleep in a foam mattress... Also , try to get pregnancy pillow.
Avatar n tn Or it could be something as simple as your mattress. How old is your mattress? My back pain (and hip) eased up a lot when I bought a new mattress. You could try the pillow-tops you can buy; they can be pretty good. Are you using an OTC medication? If you can't improve your sleep by some of these methods, you can see your doctor to see what they suggest. Also, sleeping with a pillow between your legs can help ease back pain.
Avatar n tn Memory foam mattresses have been my life saver during pregnancy when my back aches so bad I stop by the mattress outlet and lay on a tempur pedic mattress and boom! My back is better!
Avatar f tn You could try a pillow top mattress cover? I normally sleep on my stomach half way on my side.. I am constantly flipping from one side to the other lol poor Dh!!!
Avatar f tn For the past 4 nights I've been awakened after only 2-4 hours sleep by pain in my right buttock, which eventually extends down the back of my thigh, sometimes going down to my right ankle. I cannot rest and must get up, walk around and exercise. Pain does not go away until I've been up for about 5 hours, at which point it diminishes and doesn't return until I go to bed again and have slept for only a few hours. This cycle results in sleep deprivation.
Avatar f tn What's the most comfortable bed you've slept in while pregnant? I'm buying a mattress for the first time.
Avatar f tn Currently my hasband and I are sleeping on an air mattress because I just cannot decide which (kind of) bed is the best to buy. We tossed out our previous conventional mattress; because it was like sleeping on a bed of nails! The mattress springs felt as though they were pushing back at me - it was awful. I am curious what kind of bed, if any, you all would suggest. A sleep number bed? The tempurpedic memory foam mattresses?? Either/or ...
Avatar f tn I can't sleep and Is really miserable. I can not sleep a full night our I end up going to bed at 4am or 5am and then sleep all day and stay up all night! Any suggestions?
Avatar m tn His mom got him a memory foam mattress topper to put over his regular mattress (he has an xtra firm mattress). It worked okay for him. I tried out one of those mattresses. It conforms to your body but as for support, I don't know. Without the support, your back would really get stressed. I would check them out in a furniture store to see how you like it. They do feel weird when you lay on them.
Avatar m tn I COULDNT SLEEP IN MY OLD BED WHICH WAS JUST A REGULAR MATTRESS SO FINALLY I GOT ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY A MEMORY FOAM BED... WELL THAT DIDNT WORK EITHER SO I HAD A 90 DAY GUARANTEE WITH IT AND I CALLED THEM AND THE SALESMAN SUGGESTED THAT I GET A LATEX BED AND IT HAS LIKE AIR CHAMBERS IN THE MATTRESS AND DOENST HURT THE PRESSURE POINTS BUT THE MEMORY FOAM DID AND HE TOLD ME IT IS BECAUSE THE FOAM COMPRESSES DOWN WHEN U LAY ON IT MAKING IT HARDER. I PAID ABOUT 1200.
Avatar f tn Couldn't sleep at all last night...I'm really thinking about kicking my husband out the bed .
Avatar f tn You see I have no pain, my bf n I just bought a new mattress set which is the most comfortable thing ever, I can sleep in any position i want and the belly is not the problem is just that i can't fall asleep.
1192745 tn?1287905858 They have cooling mattresses? I want one.
Avatar f tn and may i ask why your on an air mattress and not a bed.? If the air mattress if low to the ground i dont think its to healthy..
428506 tn?1296557399 I bought a foam mattress topper from costco. it really made the difference. You can also try a Cuddle Ewe. It says that it is good for Fibro. (google it) I just couldn't afford it.
Avatar f tn s food, but mattress is not. Look for mattress that is comfortable for you baby to sleep in, that what matters. Your child IQ is not linked to the mattress he/she sleeps in.
Avatar m tn I've had the same problem after sleeping in completely different beds. I'm not sure whether the mattress in my bed is soft or hard, but it's old and sagging. Should I try a softer mattress or a firmer mattress?
Avatar f tn If I could find the right mattress, then I am sure I could sleep in an adjustable (hospital-type) bed also. I have one, but the mattress is too soft, I am heavy, and I sink in curving my back. Also, it is visco-elastic memory foam and is darned hot. I think I need a very firm old-fashioned foam mattress. Just haven't gotten around to looking for one yet. My new bedroom is going to have two relciners in it. One for watching TV and another just for sleeping.
Avatar f tn Or possibly it is just not the right one for you? I cannot sleep on our mattress without the symptoms you describe. I have tried several and only the most expensive on (I won't name it here) allows me to sleep without "back tiredness and pain." I have chosen to sleep on a quality constructed couch because it supports my back better. When I sleep on this couch I am able to sleep longer and wake without the symptoms you describe.
4654011 tn?1357643122 Any moms out there already have the bedding or moms who have suggestions from their first baby on the best type of bedding and mattress. I have a crib already but, I'm just not sure about the rest of it. Ftm lol and still trying to figure out everything he needs too.
Avatar f tn ( buy a new mattress if you can afford to) buy and use a mattress protector, air the room as much as possible and lastly (youre not going to like this) keep the dogs off the bed. (and preferably out of the bedroom altogether) It could be close contact with animal dander that's making you itchy. I'm not against animals in the bedroom (the 3 cats currently occupying my bed will testify to that) but its worth trying for a few weeks.
