I did it for a long time myself on a great many UNIX systems using many editors, each used the ESC key as the master Meta key. I had to change editors myself since I had crippled my left hand (right was fine) by constantly extending my left hand during meta function. Amazing what a simple thing, done many times can do. Just a thought.

I bought the snoogle pillow with my last pregnancy, I loved it and used it every time I slept from my fifth month onwards. It was very useful for support after my c sect too. I have got it out already this time, I'm not using it all the time but it does help me get a more comfortable sleep if I have been on my feet all day at work.

Just recently I have been given a sleep study and I had very little REM and many sleep apnea episodes, My Pulmonologist has ordered another sleep study using C-pap. I am hoping that my side effcts are actually symptoms of sleep apnea.

Hi my fellow Chiarians. I have a question. This morning when I awoke I was coughing and could not get a deep breath, almost felt like I was choking. This has happened to me several times. On occasion I will have a feeling like my chest is caving in and my heart is skipping a beat. This scares the crap outta me. So much so that I tell my husband to check on me during the night to make sure I am still breathing and to make sure I wake up easy.

i have been diagnosed with sleep apnea.....overall,mild obstructive apnea,becoming severe in rem sleep with mild oxygen desaturation.I used a nose prong (resimed) for three weeks no problems at all,then developed dermatitus in and below my nose,sore and unsightly.I tried a mouth splint ,with lots of adjustments,had facial and ear pain.My doctor advised perservering with c-pap,but also adding the apnea was not bad....total rdi=12.1/hr.I am going on a cruise next week,and I am worried.

I just want to go to sleep :'( I'm in tears b/c I can't go to sleep as soon as I close my eyes she kicks flips jabs me w/ her elbow or butt or I get or worst of all get up and go pee I'm tired I want to get some sleep this is the second night I can't keep staying up like this.

Is there any sleep suppliments for those with liver disease? Is melatonin safe on occasional basis?

I have sleep apnea and i been having sleep apnea about 13yrs. now i been on a c-pap machine for a long time now. i just found out that i have autonomic neuropathy.could this be why my legs are hurting at night. could sleep apnea have cause this.

Has anyone tried sleep fast? I just took 2 of them and i hope i can get some sleep withou flopping around in bed like a fish.

c and yes i too was put to sleep. My hubby was there when i went to sleep and was back by the time i woke up. It was the best i experience possible considering the circumstances. I'll be praying for you!

I'm so terribly anxious and excited right now. I'm going in for my c-section in 7 hours and get to meet my baby girl in about 9. I will be 40 Weeks exactly and I can't believe this time has gone by so fast! I'm currently in bed snuggling her big, 3 year old sister and enjoying the last of her little kicks while I can. I'm so happy!

Taking a sleep aid such as Benadryl 2-3 hours before bedtime will help alleviate the morning "hangover". It will not take effect immediately in my experience, but as soon as you begin to feel drowsy, go to bed! Works for me!

I have hep c and have been living with the same issues (blood transfusion in Houston 1983) I did a sleep study and was diagnosed with severe central sleep disorder, they gave me(insurance/co-pay bought), a bi-pap machine it helps dramatically with sleeping, I have also been diagnosed with neuroaothy in both legs, and diabetes, my legs cramp so bad that I tell my doctor that it feels like bubbling crude oil that hurts, my feet were swollen all the time, and because I could not sleep, I was a me

I can't imagine why the C-Pap machine would be causing you to have a sick stomach in the morning except that the volumn may be too high and you are getting air into your stomach. I suggest you talk to the doctor that put you on the machine and he may be able to adjust the air flow to a more tolerable pressure. Good luck.

Hi, I havent had surgery for chiari but I was dx with sleep apnea 2yrs ago and was prescribed a c-pap machine. My cardiologist told me that sleep apnea may contribute to my heart beating faster during the day. I would also wake up gasping for air..it was horrible. Once I felt like was was gona faint and never wake up, very scary. Later on i found out that it is one of the many symptoms of chiari.

Does anyone take seroqual for sleep? If yes does it decrease your chances if getting pregnant ?

My dr prescribed trazadone to help me sleep during pregnancy. It is considered Class C, but if you really need sleep medication the benefits outweigh the risks. Talk to your prescribing dr before discontinuing use.
