3053649 tn?1356365017 I had to train myself to sleep on my left side at 13 weeks. Its hard to just sleep on your side but you get used to it eventually. You can sleep on your stomach until it's uncomfortable but try not to sleep on your back as often.
Avatar f tn You might also want to try melatonin. It is a natural sleep aid you can get at any supermarket or drug store in the vitamin section. We use it at our house when we have trouble getting some sleep.
398459 tn?1262186144 ALL ABOARD THE AGP train!!! Ok, girls, be ready, because the train is rolling and picking up speed… The AGP train is first heading up to Milwaukee to pick up Latice (with Glenda and Tijuana having barely jumped on, and the front cars safely loaded with Helen, Heather, Kari, Kele, Amberlee and Anxious2), then off to Columbus Ohio for Wanting4. Next stop, all the way across the country to California for Jen, then back to Chicago for Krista (but first a stop in Vermont to gas up on RSSBD).
Avatar m tn I was travelling by train. I have a doubt on my co passenger that he might have anally raped me. the next morning i got up aster going to loo (no 2) I was experiencing pain in my anus. I checked my underwear I had a black spot in my underwear Further i was wearing my shorts my waulet was not in my shorts. it was lying on the bed of the shorts. I experienced the pain for two days. Is it possible he might have used the chloroform on me during my sleep and raped me anally.
1320739 tn?1274401573 THERE WERE NO SLEEP LABS AND SPECIALISTS IN SLEEP DISORDERS. I WAS 34 YRS. OLD WHEN I WAS NEARLY KILLED BY A TRAIN BECAUSE I FELL ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL WHILE DRIVING WITH MY 2 YR. OLD SON IN THE CAR. THE TRAIN STOP BAR CAME DOWN ON MY WINDSHIELD WHILE THE LIGHTS WERE FLASHING AND THE BELLS WERE RINGING. EVEN THE HORN OF THE TRAIN DIDN'T WAKE ME UNTIL THE TRAIN WAS PASSING AND IT LITERALLY MISSED KILLING US BY ABOUT 2 HAIRS!!
Avatar f tn t change once you have a newborn to take care of.
Avatar f tn ) Of recreational drugs in my life, but coming off this one is hell x 5! I thought I was going nuts... no sleep at all for 4 nights now. Oh, I broke all the bones on my left side falling off a roof 3 years ago. After several surgeries I would be prescribed Percocet, and then migrated down to the "non addictive" Tram. I was taking an average of approx 300 mg in 12 hours. I finally decided that I had HAD IT with begging for my refills from my surgeon.
776572 tn?1360290739 Really appreciate it. Am going to start to train myself to sleep on my side as I have troubles sleeping normally. For some reason though, I find it most comfortable to sleep on my back. Will have to change that habit!!!
Avatar m tn I have suffered from headaches of varying degrees, well, as long as I can remember. I'm 28 now. I had a neurologist that just kept upping my topamax, even after a brain mri. Went to a new neurologist and she looked at the mri and said my brain sits lower in my skull then normal and ordered a neck mri of some kind. i find out what she has to say in december. she also took me off all the meds the other doctor had me on.. headaches have improved since coming off previous medications.
Avatar m tn Thanks for the quick response. Do you think it would help to sleep in a separate room while we try to sleep train him? Also do you think sleep training would work at this age(given most people advise doing it at a younger age)?
899491 tn?1243773627 I read somewhere that you should adjust your sleep each night by an hour or so until you reach near to the new sleep zone that you are entering, this way there is not a major shift in sleep pattern when arriving. So they will need to work out in advance when they will need to start so you get close. ie 6 hour change in time would need to start 6 to 7 days before, longer would be better ie over a fortnight have every two nights adjustment. This is just based on what I have read anyway.
Avatar f tn I am comfortable on.my back by I was told by other women not to sleep that way. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions??
Avatar f tn That said, I have had several friends who also had your problems. You must re-train your daughter to go to sleep by herself, and you cannot do that without disciplining yourself first. She WILL cry in the beginning, you cannot get around that. Is there any way that your 8-year old can sleep in your bed with your husband while you train your younger one? I assume they share a room? I know it's painful to hear them cry, but you are actually doing her a favor, as well as helping yourself.
Avatar f tn So i just found out that my sister in-law who lives with us is 7 weeks pregnant which she wasnt trying for a baby. Ive been an emotional train wreck ever sense ive been ttc for 4 years and just feel so lost what should i do?
9309926 tn?1405447056 m trying to train to sleep in her own bed so she keeps me up. I made the mistake of letting her sleep with me.
Avatar m tn i have always found it hard to train my boy to be dry at night but a few weeks ago we tryed again and its going really well, however in this time my son has been sleep walking and talking in his sleep saying and doing really strange and horrible things. scary even. he says he remembers nothing, sometimes he will wake after hours sometimes he can be only a hour. we did go throught this over a year ago but it stopped. do u have any advice for me.
Avatar f tn If you want to use supplements buy some good brand of BCAA, it's very beneficial when you train and those amino acids have good properties for the liver. But notice that it makes sense to use any supplements when you have good diet first and you train more than 2 sessions a week. Otherwise you don't need extra supplementation, just good diet and sleep.
Avatar f tn I'm 30+6 weeks and it seems like all I want to do is sleep all day long. Anyone else experiencing this? I have never felt this way earlier in my pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Now it has been a couple of days and I have had maybe 3 hours of restless sleep. I took my regular daily bipolar medications went it was time to take them. Unfortunately I do not do well with sleeping pills. Does anyone have and ideas that might help me out of my manic state and then hopefully get some sleep? I am hoping that when my manic mood does finally pass I will be able to avoid a depression. I know that is next.
Avatar f tn I'm 7 weeks strong and curious is it still ok to sleep on my back? And for how long?
