3862348 tn?1348379200 said I have central sleep apnea, and have probably had this most of my life, a simple sleep study found this, and now I use a bi-pap machine, I now sleep very well (although it took awhile to get used to), and have not had those paranoia experiences since. This was several years ago, and if not for other medical problems that came on later, I would say that I was cured. Best of luck, and as always I will tell you to consult your Dr. with the issues.

Avatar n tn i had sleeping problems for as long as i can remember cant get comfortable takes awhile to fall a sleep get up 3 4 times to use the bathroom before i finally fall a sleep and i dont sleep longer than 4 hours without waking up sometimes every hour or 2 its like i dont fall into a deep sleep cause im easily waken tried lots of different medications but nothing seems to work any good advice for me?

Avatar m tn I have suffered from most every flavor of sleep issue: trouble getting to sleep, trouble staying asleep, and waking too early. Currently, my insomnia du jour is waking in the middle of the night. I've been taking melatonin, which I believe helps somewhat, but not completely. Last week I purchased a light box and, for the past 6 days, have used it first thing in the morning. I was amazed at how instantly it improved my mood and daytime wakefulness!

Problems with breathing (Obstructive sleep apnea), certain medications, restless leg movements and sleep walking/talking could contribute to insomnia. Avatar m tn Anyways after I took the sixth pill I finally started to sleep better and once I started to sleep better I finally started to get back to my life and my daily activities. I was doing pretty ok for about a month and a half, when about a week and a half ago, Thursday, June 30, 2016, I was over at my friend's house when a sudden wave of anxiety hit me and I started going downhill and as of today I'm pretty much back to where I was originally.

2062192 tn?1333714423 Iv got one of the pregnancy pillows but it dosnt seem to be helping at the moment. I cant sleep on my back (my body has never let me sleep on my back for as long as I can remember), and the only position I see to get comfy on is on my tummy but coked up slightly on my right side with my knee helping to prop my side up a little but I move a lot in my sleep and every time I change positions I wake up feeling a bit sick and get a slight pain in my abdomen.

I wont mind not sleeping once the baby is here bc then atleast there will be a reason im up but for now this no sleep isnt cutting it haha.
