2062192 tn?1333714423 Iv got one of the pregnancy pillows but it dosnt seem to be helping at the moment. I cant sleep on my back (my body has never let me sleep on my back for as long as I can remember), and the only position I see to get comfy on is on my tummy but coked up slightly on my right side with my knee helping to prop my side up a little but I move a lot in my sleep and every time I change positions I wake up feeling a bit sick and get a slight pain in my abdomen.

1657208 tn?1404165128 If he has not had any real seeping problems before this, what you should try first is to read up on good sleep hygiene, it may help but he will have to give it an honest try. If it continues, he should see his physician. Not being able to sleep is frustrating.
1073929 tn?1314753990 I have MS and have had problems sleeping for about 9 months now. I tired going to sleep at 9, then 10 and 11 but no matter what time i go to sleep i'll wake up at 3 or 4. I have tried 4 different sleeping meds and none have worked. Is this a normal symptom?
1450627 tn?1296616593 I am not having any problems getting to sleep its just waking up a hundred times that gets to me. I sleep with a body pillow and every time that I roll over (which is very frequently) I have to readjust so its just as comfy as the other side. Plus, I am getting up 2-3 times a night to pee. Sometimes I try and hold it because im too tired to get out of bed but when I do that I cant fall back asleep with a full bladder anyways. I agree with the other person who said to try and sleep alone.

967168 tn?1477584489 Since some of us here have sleep problems, I'm posting here as asked by Dr. Steven park - Please distribute my post as widely as you can. This is an important topic that needs much more attention, especially if you have a sleep-breathing disorder. http://www.medhelp.
Avatar m tn I have Parkinsons and sleep from about 11pm to 2 am and am unable to get back to sleep. I did try xanax about for four days in a row. I woke at 2 a.m., took a .25mg each time and it put me back to sleep from 3 to 7. Worked perfect but I hear they're addictive. Klonopin is also in the benzo class and I worry it may be too strong. Trazodone is an anti-depressent and I've read scary stuff regarding that.
Avatar f tn Im 10 weeks n I cant sleep at nite n if I sleep is during the day n I only sleep 1-2 hrs.No matter if Im tired I just cant sleep at nite.I just want to know if thats normal or no.
Avatar m tn Hi, welcome to the forum, you seem to have insomnia but a milder form. Sleep maintainance problems tend to be associated with stress, anxiety, or circadian rhythm sleep disorders. They may also be associated with sleep disorders (eg, sleep apnea, periodic limb movements), medical conditions that cause pain, psychiatric diseases (eg, anxiety, depression), or the use or withdrawal of alcohol, nicotine, or other substances.
