Avatar f tn I am a stomach sleeper too. I swear I haven't had a full nights sleep since I found out I was pregnant (I'm 19 weeks so that's a loooong time). Get a pregnancy pillow. It is definitely helping me.
Avatar f tn First it takes a long time before i actually fall asleep and i am a light sleeper so not only do I hear everything, i wake up to any noise. I also toss and turn a lot during the night. Everyday I wake up with bags under my eyes and I have intense tear troughs. Sometimes when I stay up, my head begins to hurt and i feel tired and sleepy but cannot fall asleep. I have tried medication but it only works sometimes.
599170 tn?1300973893 I'm a light sleeper so I tend to wake up often throughout the night. Also, when I'm worried or upset about something I have a hard time clearing my head. I tend to be a worrier so it's something I'm trying to work on! I sure wish I slept better. Then I'd stop relying on caffeine as much, I'm sure!
Avatar f tn I have a concern as far as hearing my baby cry when I give birth because as it is I love sleep. Ok? I'm a super heavy sleeper. I mean heavy. A hurricane can pass us by and the house can rattle and there could be a party with a DJ outside and I'm like "whoah when did this happen?" I can't hear anything. My dogs can bark because they hear knocking and I'm like nope. Lol. Does this change at all?!
Avatar f tn Let me start with the best thing...ear plugs!! Im a light sleeper and my fiancé snores. Also is hard to nap during the day because of noises. With the ear plugs..i got great sleep!my fiancé brings them from work. Not sure where u but them at but if u do buy them. . Make sure you put them in right and they are deep in your ear otherwise you'll still hear the noise. As for heartburn. . That's my current struggle.
8569521 tn?1398743100 ve been a light sleeper since the birth of my first ,2yr old. This pregnancy I wake up all through the night & turn over flip over toss & turn ugggh. I'm 25wks. I'm sure its pretty normal. Long as your resting & laying down it counts for something I guess.
Avatar f tn I'm 6 weeks prego wth my first and my husband has informed me that I have night sweats than turn around and be freezing cold. And I'm also a stomach sleeper and it hurts for me to sleep on my stomach. So I guess my question is this normal this early in a pregnancy?
Avatar f tn Sleep queen right here, I can sleep all night and day LOL
7928945 tn?1395477375 I can see where the sleep thing is a problem because I was a very heavy sleeper. But as soon as my first baby was born, even the slightest sound from her woke me. But not my husband. And he was a very understanding and helpful father. Is your baby breastfed? That is much easier on the mother because there is no business about heating bottles in the middle of the night. You just tuck baby in bed with you and everyone gets a good rest.
Avatar f tn m inly 10 weeks, but sleeping partially on my stomach/side is the only way I can sleep right now. I know once we get bigger we can't, but is it ok within the first trimester?
Avatar f tn Oh k gosh this is crazy and it can be completly different from one child to the next, but the body that's carrying it is the same. Well kind of.
Avatar m tn This can be reset by bright light therapy, sleeping pills and sometimes by sleep debt. In sleep debt, though you happen to sleep late, you condition yourself to get up early; this in turn will help you to sleep early. So, try this, but if your symptoms still persist, I would advise you to discuss your symptoms with your primary care physician who may then refer you to a sleep specialist for further evaluation. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
Avatar f tn I'm about 29wks and the only way its comfortable for me to sleep, is on my back. Ive tried pillows between my legs, behind my back.. Proping up a little, I even bought a giant boppy pillow that doesn't help!! Is it really that bad to sleep on my back, I heard as long as it isn't painful to me then its okay... What is everyone else's opinion??!?!
Avatar m tn My 6-year-old son has always been a great sleeper with a good bedtime routine - never had any problems with getting to sleep or staying asleep. He's a very happy, confident boy. However he saw a road safety advert on TV a few weeks ago and since then has been really anxious. He doesn't like being upstairs or downstairs on his own even during the day but at nighttime he is having huge problems with sleep.
4251679 tn?1370305531 I've always been a heavy sleeper, its extremely hard to wake me up. I even have to change my alarm tones just so its something I'm not expecting in the mornings or else ill sleep right through them. I have this fear that after my baby has been here awhile I won't wake up to her crying. My boyfriend is a light sleeper on the other hand, so I'm sure hell wake me up if he doesn't feel like getting up with her or something but I don't wanna seem like a bad parent.
Avatar f tn m concerned my sleep issues while pregnant is having a direct effect on my baby. My hubby is already a light sleeper and has trouble staying asleep, I hope my baby doesn't inherit his sleep disorder if that's possible. Any insight is appreciated!!
Avatar f tn Im a hard sleeper and im just worried that when he gets here n im in a dead sleep I won't hear him not even with baby monitors im gonna have people here but when their not here I need a buzzer or something.
Avatar f tn Could be caused by anything from anxiety to your impending birth to just being plain uncomfortable. I have always had insomnia abd pregnancy makes it worse because I am a light sleeper and when the baby starts her little rave party in there I wake up and can't sleep until she's done. I have also been told that drinking milk or eating a banana before bed will also help with sleep. I don't like milk and bananas cause me to have reflux so I haven't tried either of those options.
Avatar n tn Normally I am a light sleeper. However, lately I have been waking up feeling as though I was in an extreme deep sleep. The front of my head hurts as well as my eyes and I have this heavy groggy feeling that takes a while to go away. I don't like how it feels and I am quite concerned as to why I am experiencing these symptoms. I have been told that I do not snore. Also, it doesn't matter whether I am on my side or back-I still wake up feeling pain.
Avatar f tn Ok, so for the past 4 days I haven't got much sleep I have been waking up in the middle of the night. I'm not a light sleeper, don't snore, don't have any kidney problems or diabetes of any kind whats wrong? I'm just soo tired of being so fatigued!
Avatar f tn Well why don't u tell him to be a little more considerate?
Avatar f tn I have to sleep my newborn in a crib from the beginning cause it really is easier said than done my almost 2 yr old still doesnt wanna sleep in her crib her crib is new cause she orefered sleeping with me and now that I'm pregnant I wish I woulda slept her in the crib cause I need the space
Avatar f tn I have 2 kids going on my third. I've slept both with me, slept my niece's and nephews with me also. It's not safe if you move alot or if the baby falls off the bed. I always created their own little area for them and I sleep light so any movement and I'd wake up.
Avatar f tn My boyfriend Is such a light sleeper and If he heard my phone shutter, he would jump out of bed. I scare him juss by saying "good night babe" he gets up super fast and his face Is priceless lol.
Avatar f tn Nighttime is the worst. I'm a stomach sleeper, and having the only option of right or left side is driving me nuts. I've also been waking my hubby up with my snoring! I feel awful because I have a slight cold that makes it all worse. Anyone else hating nighttime?
541150 tn?1306033843 Our babies will be born in warm weather so probably a diaper, onesie and light sleeper is all they will need. Sleep sacks and swaddlers will be too warm unless you have A/C. But, if you want to swaddle them, I wouldn't put more than a diaper and t-shirt on them. It sounds confusing, but once they are in front of you, you'll figure it out.
Avatar f tn I can only sleep on my back for so long... I already have back problems... sleeping on the right side isnt recommended (but that's always been my best side to sleep on) / I am left with one side to sleep on at night...
Avatar f tn I have never been a stomach sleeper but lately its the only way I have been comfortable. And even at that I can't sleep much more than 3 hours at a time.
