Avatar f tn I'm only 6 weeks but I struggle with sleep and morning sickness already. Try unisom sleep tabs my doctor said they were safe. They also make another form of the same sleep pill that they sell at babies r us that's specifically for pregnant women.
Avatar f tn I'm 19 weeks pregnant and I've have trouble sleeping for the past couple weeks I do not wake up hungry at all. I've tried walking around the block before bed, drinking a cup of warm milk, sleeping on different sides of the bed/side ways on the bed, and I can't get much sleep. I'll sleep around 8:30 pm and I've been remembering the times I wake up and I wake up every two hours throughout the whole night!

6726276 tn?1421126668 I do sleep better in the art studio than in the main house where I watch DVDs. Up here I have the iPod and listen to music. Probably better for sleep.
8502656 tn?1422469985 No you really cant. Damage to ears if you wanna call it that happens after 1 yr old when the teeny tiny hairs start to go away. But that happens to everyone that's why as we age we can't hear as high pitched sounds. But in the womb remember there is fluid and every thing sounds as if you were underwater. That's how the baby hears. It also recommended that as much noise they hear as in belly keep it the same when baby is out.
Avatar f tn I usually sleep on opposite side of the bed and with tons of pillows.

Avatar f tn m 16 and was diagnosed with PCOS 8 months ago and have been on Metformin for it since. When I was 12-13 some nights when I went to bed I would hear music as I tried to sleep. No voices just the muted sound of dumbs and brass instruments. It was only at night and usually only when I had one ear to my pillow. For a while I thought it was the TV below my room, but after checking multiple nights and finding the TV off I told my parents. They didn't seem concerned and it eventually sent away.
Avatar f tn Tell her that at a certain time she needs to relax and listen to music or read a book. Music is wonderful but make sure it is soft music. They have wonderful relaxation tapes which my son uses to help as well. Hope this helps and take care.
Avatar f tn I'm with Ftmforthewin; I'm also 20 weeks and my insomnia has just gotten worse as the pregnancy has progressed. This is my 3rd pregnancy, and I don't think it was like this with my previous two. Perhaps because I'm older? The body pillow helps be more comfortable, for sure. And I agree with warm shower, drinking warm milk (tho that will get you peeing at night), listening to soothing instrumental music... Anything to lull you. You'll sleep eventually!
Avatar m tn What does anyone else think? I have had sleep issues for many years and I do take a sleep aid.
7230576 tn?1389381675 What can i do or take to help me sleep at night i have my baby in a week and am misrible.
Avatar f tn Its like i cant get comfortable. I am only getting a little over 4the hours of sleep. Is this a normal thing that happens?
4804397 tn?1362162442 I go through periods of good sleep and then rather suddenly start waking at 4-5 (similar to your experience). It is very frustrating because the lack of sleep does catch up. I have no ideal solution except to maybe listen to some soft music and/or deep breathing to help you relax.
Avatar f tn Cramping and backache this morning :/ trying to go back to sleep but it's hard.
Avatar m tn I get music stuck in my head all the time. It's kind of like my mind is harassing me. I don't like it and it wakes me up with it. I would rather not go on meds but its getting to be the last alternative. I am very extreme and I am always thinking but sometimes it serves me well it's like I have a gift and a curse. If anyone has any suggestions I am all ears.
Avatar f tn I can not sleep at night at all. I'm still working full time and can't afford not to get enough sleep anyone having this issue or can give me ideas to help me sleep? I'm beyond exhausted and can't do this anymore !
Avatar m tn By day 30 on I didnt listen to the music, cause my sleep seemed to get better. My good sleep pattern came relatively quick. I got the music from my therapist, which I think you said you see one. They may be able to get one for you or they might have them on hand. If not probably get them at any cd store. Hang in there keep up the good work.
Avatar n tn Now, if you are feeling sleepy in the day also, it means your body is not getting relaxed and rejuvenated when you sleep. This can happen if you fail to have enough deep sleep. Sleep apnea could prevent you from having enough deep sleep. And you do feel sleepy throughout the day. Contacting a sleep specialist for a sleep study will be a good first step. If you do not have a sleep specialist in your area, just find out where you can get the sleep study (polysomnography) done.
