One mother said that lack of sleep led up to the breakdown, and in the end her daughter was diagnosed as bipolar - it runs in their family. The other basically "crashed" and became for a time unable to do anything but cry. Both rebounded and resumed their education and have enviable careers, having learned a lot about balance in life.

How do you do that with 2 babies who are alternating their wake-ups....sleep restlessly (in our bed, they don't start there, but end up there around midnight)...and God love them, keep mommy from getting a good night's sleep. Vegas was good for the sleep, but 2 nights back at the house and my butt is dragging the ground. Is there a happy medium somewhere?

Did I cause any permanent damage to my brain? In addition, has damage caused by oxidative stress and free radicals irreversibly increased my cancer risk?

Im also up every hour, or hour and a half, then still manage to work/do things around the house. I always thought the 2nd trimester was supposed to be the best, sure i dont feel sick anymore, but this has been brutal for sleep. Thats exciting about your ultrasound coming up, and really exciting that you are not finding out the gender!

Avatar m tn An inappropriate diet will eventually cause wide spread random physical symptoms (as well as cause the same or similar issues as sleep deprivation) as your body depletes its store of vitamin B, Iron, magnesium etc etc. You said " i can't stop googling" I strongly recommend you to distract your self from googling and re-focus on decompressing and your college admission....
Avatar f tn Exams and presentations are the worst with PATM, especially because my school has lectures with upwards of 300 students. A quick and easy thing to do is to cleanse your face right before the presentation; wash in hot water and the really cold water. You could fast, I've found that digesting large amounts food worsens PATM, but this might hurt your performance. The unreasonably loud coughers are the worst part, but you just have to talk louder. Avatar f tn College day cares are normally students who are getting their masters in child development. I would ask all kinds of questions like how often they have tummy time, how they put baby to sleep(because many put them to sleep with a bottle which is a big no no!
